Continuity mistake: On the bridge over the lava, when Donkey steps on one of the boards, it breaks down the middle into two pieces. But when we see it falling, it's the entire board as if it had come off without breaking. (00:36:30)

Continuity mistake: When Shrek backs into the two barrels at the tournament, they both have taps on them. He then bashes one of these off with the beer mug. But when Donkey rolls the other barrel the tap has vanished on that one as well. (00:24:00)

Continuity mistake: When the lost boys are going into their hiding place, Hangman's Tree, the trapdoor is opened by one of them pulling on a noose. However, when Hook and his minions show up later, the noose has vanished.

Revealing mistake: When the Mariner hangs a man from a rope on his ship, the man jumps ahead a little: he puts his hand round his throat and makes strangled noises before the rope even goes straight.

Continuity mistake: When Fat Bastard explodes through Austin Powers' bedroom door, you can see where his right arm was meant to break through, but didn't. The piece of the door is shown still intact for a moment or two, but with the outline of his arm surrounding it. It disappears in the very next shot of the door only a second later.

Trivia: The talking pig is a combination of 48 real Yorkshire pigs plus an animatronic double. A makeup artist added toupee and eyelashes to each, and computer digitization manipulated pictures of the snout to make the pig appear to talk.

Trivia: Monroe wanted the film to be shot in colour (her contract stipulated that all her films were to be in colour), but Wilder convinced her to let it be shot in black and white when costume tests revealed that the makeup that Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon wore gave their faces a green tinge.

Revealing mistake: When Spats Columbo's gangsters are being searched for weapons at the Florida Hotel, the man doing the pat search can be seen placing the gun behind the gangster's leg, just before it supposedly drops out of his trouser leg.

Trivia: When James Cromwell was handed the screenplay for Babe, he thumbed through it to see how many lines he had. He saw that he didn't have that many, he decided that he would do it as a nice easy film. What he didn't realize was that he would have more screen time in this film than any of his previous films, just not that many lines.
