They again show the back angle, and he one again is choked down a little on the grip.

Revealing mistake: When Simon Phoenix needs to get out of the cryo-prison, we are led to believe he removes the eyeball and put it on the nib of a fountain pen. When he scans the eyeball to get out of the prison, the outer edges shows that the scanned eyeball is still in the eye socket. You can see the eyelids on the in the top right and bottom right edges of the shot.

Revealing mistake: While Flash and Barin are fighting with the whips, Flash takes a swipe at Barin with the whip and hits him in the face. Before the whip strikes Barin, you can see the red blood on his face, we then hear the crack of the whip, Barin yanks his head back as if he had been hit and then comes back into frame smearing the red blood.

Factual error: When Neville Flynn is going to reset the breaker for the A/C he is in the cargo hold. He moves aside a shipping container, a unit load device (ULD). This unit load device had a big sticker across the top of the side. All ULDs are required by FAA regulations to have the identifying number on all four sides at the highest, most visible point. There was no identifying number on the front and there was none on the side. Where one belonged there was a big Pacific Air sticker. This was more than likely covering up the ULD number that was borrowed from another airlines.

The special effects guy placed the lights around the clip to make it look like a mirror. Also, the words are upside down when facing the camera. In slo-mo, we can see the hand-off of the paper from Mini Me to Austin and how the front, top written on side of the paper ends up facing the camera and upside down. There is no way that Austin can read what is on the page. The paper is not thin enough to be read through as one other person has claimed. Continuity mistake: When O-ren chops of Boss Tanaka's head, the head is going in the direction of the boss to the left of Boss Tanaka. It is already on its way down and at eye level before the shot changes. The next shot we see the reaction of that boss and the other bosses but the head is no where in the shot. Continuity mistake: Shaving cream reappears - When Cadet Major Morelan is shaving in front of the mirror he shaves his right side of his face then shaves part of his left side of his face. The next shot is a closeup of him in the mirror and the left side of his face is unshaven and completely covered with shaving cream. He then begins to shave the left side of his face again.

Continuity mistake: When Cadet Major Morelan is talking to the officers in the Admin Building about a plan of action. He is constantly leaning agains the table and standing upright. When they finally agree on the plan of action, he says "agree?" he is standing upright and away from the table. The next shot the officers immediately respond and Cadet Major Morelan is leaning on the table with two fists then stand upright when he hears sirens. There was not enough time for Cadet Major Morelan to lean against the table again between the question and response.

Continuity mistake: Disappearing bar of soap. When the two younger cadets are in the shower the one on the left places his bar of soap on the soap dish. Tom Cruise then pushes him aside. In the next shot Tom is placing his bottle of shampoo on the same soap dish. The younger cadet never had time to get his bar of soap out of the soap dish so that Tom could put his shampoo on it.

Continuity mistake: When Cadet Major Morelan is unbuttoning his jacket he unbuttons the top 2 buttons and the bottom 2 buttons. This leaves the middle 3 buttons fastened. He then sits down and is talking to Tom Cruise, Sean Penn and 1 other Cadet. In the next shot when he stands up, the bottom 3 buttons are now unbuttoned and only 2 buttons are fastened. He had sat down with his hands on his knees and that never changed. The button could not/would not unbuttoned itself.

Factual error: When the 3 guys have just safely gone through the rapids, they hear a roaring sound. This is leading to a waterfall. The water around them and the leaves in the water are perfectly still. A few seconds later they are going over the waterfall. A river just before a waterfall would have a strong current leading to the waterfall. this should have been the case with the river, but there was no current whatsoever prior to the waterfall.

Deliberate mistake: When it starts raining so that "things couldn't be worse" according to Seth Green, the younger fat hillbilly pulls out an umbrella. Why would he have one when he is trying to hunt someone down and kill them? This was obviously put in for comedic purposes but doesn't play well in the movie. (01:05:40)

Continuity mistake: When Matthew Lillard is talking about not having responsibility and that surfing is what he loves while the guys are by the camp fire, his sweat jacket is unzipped in one shot as he lays back. Continuity mistake: The 3 guys have just gone through some heavy rapids. As the rapids slowed two of them are on top of the canoe. They call out for Tom and then again for Tommy. Between the two call outs the shot changes. In the first shot the river is still flowing swiftly. During the next shot when Tommy is called and found under the canoe, the river is at a stand still. Revealing mistake: When McDonald is in the tunnels and is called to pick up the phone, he picks up a red phone. It is a standard Bell TouchTone desk phone. To make the phone look more futuristic, there was no cord and it was disguised as a cordless phone. The port that the cord would plug into is covered by a piece of colored tape. This also can be seen in the operations center of Ape Control when the worker picks up the phone.

Factual error: When Mark and Reggie are fighting over whether or not to go to New Orleans, Mark starts walking toward the Memphis-Arkansas Bridge. There would be no need to cross that bridge as New Orleans is due south on Interstate 55. The Memphis-Arkansas Bridge is Interstate 40 and goes to Little Rock, AR or north to St. Louis.

Question: When McClane kills one of the terrorists and sends him down the elevator, why the elaborate plan to send him down? He hits the buttons for floors 31 and 30, hits the stop button, props open the doors of the elevator and floor 32, crawls out, then flips the swith to run. As long something is in the door, it won't close. Why didn't he just put a chair in the doorway, put the bad guy in the elevator, hit floors 31 and 30, exit the elevator and remove the chair?

Revealing mistake: In the scene when Joey got busted by the FBI for hacking, he was taking a shower. They then took him to the living room and sat him down on couch with nothing but a towel wrapped around him. As they confiscated Lucy the computer for evidence, he lunged over the couch to try to save her/it. The towel falls off and his butt is in plain view, but his genitals don't exist. Instead, there is a flesh colored pad concealing his privates from the viewers. (00:32:40)

Continuity mistake: In the haunted forest when the Tin Man is levitated then dropped, the tin surrounding his upper left leg gets bent on impact. Later in the movie, the tin is perfectly formed and unbent.
