The Scarab Lives! - S1-E1

Plot hole: There is a "scarab alarm" when the blue scarab arrives, Shaggy even comments on hearing this. The problem is, The Blue Scarab is a comic book, so the villain and Shaggy wouldn't know what the Scarab alarm sounded like.

Dan Moat

Continuity mistake: When singing the song about what they would do if the monster came to their room in the night, Simon puts on Alvin's duvet/blanket as a cape. It then shows an imagination sequence where the blanket is a correctly sized cape to fit him. When it returns to the real world, the 'cape' is the size of his imaginary cape, nowhere near the size of the bed.

The Simple Life (2003)

Show generally

Continuity mistake: When Paris was on the phone to Janet in the Gas Station (the episode where they work at the gas station and meet "Chops" and co) it cuts to a shot of the fat boy standing next to the same phone and the receiver is put down. It then cuts back to Paris using the phone.

Friends (1994)

The One Where Chandler Gets Caught - S10-E10

Continuity mistake: Ross claims he looks into Monica and Chandler's and watches them eating dinner and watching TV. His apartment is a floor lower down than theirs and with the balcony wall, the sofa and tables distance from the window and the fact the bottom of the window is higher than the floor, there is no way Ross would be able to see that far in. We have seen in the past that he can basically only see who is at the window. (00:19:05)

Watch My Chops (2004)

Show generally

Continuity mistake: In two episodes aired consecutively on CBBC on April 7th 2004, The "DON'T WALK/WALK" sign moves from one side of the crossing to the other and changes colour. At the end of the episode where Bernie has a lucky watch, the sign is to the right of the main door to the apartment building and has orange text. At the start of the episode where Bernie finds a cat, the sign is to the left, and red.

Neighbours (1985)

Show generally

Continuity mistake: In the episode that aired in the UK on the 10th March, 2004, Harold was almost run over when he was on a walk. The Harold on the road was mostly bald and wasn't wearing glasses. Ian Smith that plays Harold has most of his hair and Harold was wearing his glasses in the next shot.

Cats & Dogs (2001)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Lou has just met the other dogs and they are talking, after the jogger has passed, there is a shot from the ground where the dogs' heads are close together. It then cuts to a shot from above where the dogs aren't close at all. (00:17:20)

Powers (2004)

Show generally

Continuity mistake: It is established that having matter from one universe in another causes it to deteriorate, but the parallel universe doorway closed, even though the photo of Ben and Buster is left in the alternate house. There was brief panic that the chaos wasn't over, when they thought Buster had brought a new collar from the alternate reality, but the photo was forgotten about and the worm-hole thing closed, despite the photo being on the wrong side.

Mad About Alice (2004)

Question: How do the hockey mask, clothes and machete appear when Jason is reborn through Diana's body, not to mention how was he was reborn to the exact decomposed state he died in?

Dan Moat

Answer: Of course he would be reborn exactly like he was before he was blown apart. Which is why he needed a blood relative to do so.

Chosen answer: Evil magic.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: Do you mean the photo of the real Keith Drop when they are in the house with Brian and the lady from the charity shop? If so that person is not supposed to look like Papa Lazarou with black/brown/white face as it's in fact a photo of the person he is impersonating and whose identity he has stolen, e.g Keith Drop when who has the appearance of a white man, hence why Papa is painting his face with make up to look like him.

Trivia: Hadfield, the place the streets of Royston Vasey are filmed at, has many league related shops. These include the butchers (used in the show), which sell "Special sausages" ala the show, and The Cafe Royston, which has many themed foods, including Tubbs Teacakes.

Dan Moat

Trivia: The league were invited to open a new section of the real-life butchers that they use in the show.

The Lesbian and the Monkey - S3-E1

Audio problem: 2nd January 2004 - Cameron shouted "Don't you want a lift?" out of the car when his friends ran away (thinking it was a killer that had stolen the car.) His lips moved when he spoke, but it was obviously a dub as the words didn't match.

How The Elephant Got Its Trunk - S3-E6

Trivia: In the last episode of Series 3, the league wanted the animals to look nothing like animals and be obviously people inside animal suits. When making the series, they were 'forced' to use animals with people added with computer, and so the whole point was missed.

Dan Moat

Trivia: To avoid conflict, and to save time, the league write the show in pairs. Mark writes with Jeremy (the unseen one), and Steve with Reece.

Sing a Song of Murder - S2-E5

Continuity mistake: When Emma was almost hit by a car she jumped up onto the edge of the wall and then back down onto the floor. When she landed she was facing the theatre door, but when Oliver came of the door and the shot changed, she was facing away from the wall. This happened in the transition from stunt person to Angela.

Murder, She Wrote (1984)

Sing a Song of Murder - S2-E5

Revealing mistake: When the first scene at Emma's hideaway was shown, obviously the two characters Emma and Jessica were filmed seperately on the couch and then the film was put together (as both are played by Angela Lansbury). However Jessica did a lot of moving while she was talking, so Emma was looking straight across at where she had been, despite her bending down while she talked.

Sing a Song of Murder - S2-E5

Audio problem: When singing "Goodbye little yellow bird" Emma blows a kiss to Oliver offstage, but she is still singing the song when she is blowing the kiss. Although it's possible she was pretending as it was part of the act, her voice wasn't even muffled by her hand.

Plot hole: Tahnee was sent to boarding school when she got fired as a way to get her out of the show, but she was 17 and so isn't that a bit of a silly way to write her out? In Melbourne Australia, you can leave school if you wish at 15, so she in theory shouldn't be able to be forced into going to Boarding School.

Continuity mistake: When Sarah Louise Platt was born it was January 28th, but in 2003, her birthday was celebrated (and was supposed to be) on Sunday 3rd February, the fourth show after her original birth date. Having Sarah's birthday six days after her 'original' birthday can't be compensated for even if the day she was born was wrong [because of broadcast date], as there are always at least 2 episodes every six days.

Deliberate mistake: Nina first wrote 'Born to Try', the song which was being released by Delta Goodrem (the actress that plays her), along with the show. She then managed to just 'inprovise' the tune and words to her (Delta's) third single 'Innocent Eyes'. I'm sure now Nina is a popstar there will be many more to come.

Continuity mistake: Springy the Olympic spring that Homer makes has 9 coils. Then we see the large version that has many coils, at the Olympics meeting. Homer's original spring is in his hand and now it has many coils also. When it cuts back to the stage, the large spring has few coils, like the very first time we saw Springy.
