Continuity mistake: When Bandit jumps the bridge, the cop car following him goes into the water and appears to be floating before the camera switches to the cop car behind. When that one reaches the bridge, a pile of rubble is in the river from the bridge collapse that was not there in the previous shot.

Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie when the Indians are playing the Yankees, in the 9th inning Hays is on 2nd and starts to steal 3rd. Taylor bunts the ball and the 3rd baseman and shortstop are shown in the camera view, but Hays is nowhere to be seen. He should have been in the camera shot as he had not reached 3rd base yet.

Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie when Bandit, Frog, and Cledus are sitting in Big Enos' red Cadillac talking on the radio to Buford T Justice, a green Cadillac, which has been seen several times during the movie, is seen parked in the upper right portion of the screen. When Bandit pulls out on his way to Boston for clam chowder, Buford takes off chasing him and the green Cadillac is no longer there.

Continuity mistake: In the gas station scene, the attendant tells Bandit he is one of the top 5 A-holes. He then walks toward a back room in the garage, and while he is approaching the door it is fully intact. When he slams the door, Bandit stoops down to a crack in the door where one of the slats is missing, that was there a few seconds before.

Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, Bobby gets hit in the side of his head with a football. Immediately afterwards, the camera pulls back to a wide shot, but the football is nowhere to be seen. It should at least be lying somewhere near Bobby.

Question: I am watching "The Naked Gun" on the IFC Network, and during one of the commercials they asked a trivia question about the movie that I never saw answered. The question was, "Which famous comedian contributed a scene or gag for the movie", and the choices were Mel Brooks, Steve Martin, and one other name that I do not remember. Does anyone know the answer to this question? I can not find any information about it anywhere. Thank you.

Continuity mistake: When Kevin goes to Jane's apartment, after she tries on all the dresses, they are sitting across from each other talking. Jane has her feet propped up on the coffee table. She takes her feet off the table, sits back in her chair, and sits a glass of water on the coffee table. A second later the camera focuses on Kevin, and then back to the camera shot from the side showing them both sitting there. Suddenly Jane's feet are back on the table.

Other mistake: In the scene when Professor Kelp sticks his arm in the punch bowl the fruit juice stains his white jacket sleeve red. When he goes to his laboratory to make more formula to become Buddy Love, his white shirt sleeve underneath his stained white jacket sleeve is still white. It is hard to believe his jacket sleeve would stain and not his shirt sleeve as well.

Continuity mistake: When Marv and Harry first attempt to break into the McCallister's house, Harry tells Marv to go to the basement, and he goes to the front door. With the front steps covered in ice, Harry slips and falls down the steps, and his crowbar clanks down at the bottom of the first step. When Harry gets up and continues trying to get up the steps and into the house, the crowbar disappears - it is not in his hands.

Continuity mistake: In the beginning scene of the movie, Maverick and Cougar encounter 2 Soviet Migs. When one of the MIgs is first shown from the camera angle on its right side, it is a delta winged aircraft. The next scene that shows the Migs, they have standard wings. The wings change at least twice during the opening air encounter.

Continuity mistake: At the end when Elaine and Ted are standing on the runway kissing, the first shot of their plane can be seen in the background and it appears to be up off the runway on its landing gear, not lying flat on its belly. When Otto starts the engines to take off and the camera focuses back on the plane, the plane is back on it's belly like it was when it landed.

Continuity mistake: In the scenes on the plane, the camera angle showing the seats down the left side (on the plane's right side) change from 3 seats to 2 seats, then back again. This is evident because the 2 black passengers who speak 'Jive" are seen in their seats with both 3 and 2, and not because it goes from Coach to First Class.

Continuity mistake: When Jane and Kevin hydroplane and slide off the road, they slide down a hill past a large tree, with the car coming to rest nearly on level ground. The next morning, when Kevin is walking back to the car with 2 cups of coffee in his hands, the car is now sitting on the incline, even with the tree.

Continuity mistake: During the scene at Gitmo while they are having lunch, the opening camera shot shows Col. Jessup and Lt. Kendrick sitting beside each other, almost touching shoulders. But in the next shot from behind Jessup, there is about a 2 or 3 foot space on his left side.

Continuity mistake: When John Coffey grabs Percy by the throat, Percy pulls out his night stick and drops it on the floor. A long leather strap can be seen attached to the handle. But after John lets him go, the long leather strap can be seen dangling on Percy's right side, when it should be still lying on the floor with the night stick outside of Coffey's cell.

Trivia: Although the movie title is "27 Dresses", one of Jane's bridesmaid outfits is actually a man's black suit and tie (pant suit), and not a dress at all. This is shown at the end during Jane and Kevin's wedding. So really the movie should be called "26 Dresses and One Suit."

Continuity mistake: When the robbers are in Duncan's Toy Chest at midnight, Kevin sets up his board on the bucket outside the window. He then knocks on the window, takes the robber's picture, then runs back away and pulls a rock out of his pocket to throw through it. But he wouldn't have been able to run back that far without jumping over the bucket and board, and he did not jump or avoid any obstacles.

Continuity mistake: When Shooter's ball goes into the crowd and ends up on Mr Larsen's foot, Mr Larsen's hair is parted on his left side at the beginning of the scene, but parted on the his right side after Shooter plays his ball off his foot.

Continuity mistake: Near the end of the movie Joe wakes up at Brandi's house and they run out to find Joe's "hemi" sitting in front of the house. The camera shot shows the car from the right side, and you can see the rear-view mirror attached to the windshield. And shortly afterward when they all get in Joe's car, another camera angle shows the mirror as well. But when they're speeding away from the house the camera angle from the front of the car shows the mirror is no longer there.

Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie when Rita reaches over Phil to turn off the alarm clock, we know the clock always goes off at 6:00AM. After turning off the alarm 2 1/2 minutes go by while they are talking and the clock should read 6:02, but when the camera pans to the clock it only reads 6:01.
