General questions

I remember this one 1985 or '86 film where a teenager borrowed his grandfather's car but ends up totaling it by the end of the film. I think the teenager's mother went into labor towards the end and that's what caused the accident or made the car further damaged. As it turns out of the grandfather ruined the teenage father's car as well but I can never figure out what film this is from?

Richie

Answer: Sounds like the film "License to Drive" (1988) staring the two Coreys.

Seinfeld (1990)

Answer: It's an homage to the Harold Pinter play "Betrayal", which uses the same reverse chronology gimmick. As an in-joke, Sue Ellen's fiance is named Pinter as a tribute to the playwright.

Question: The 3 of them escape the T-1000 after the mental hospital and end up in the desert. Arnold explains the history of Skynet to Sarah and one line of dialogue that has confused me for so many years is me is that he says Skynet became self aware at 2:14am Eastern time. That would be 11:14pm in Los Angeles. Why does the film imply the bombs were dropped during the late morning or early afternoon?

Richie

Answer: Skynet became self-aware at that time, but didn't launch the attack until the humans got scared and tried to pull the plug on Skynet.

Answer: The only indication of the time of the bombing was Sarah's nightmare, which was based on the story told to her by Kyle Reese. Despite this, even with Skynet becoming self-aware in the late evening / night, it doesn't mean it launched the missiles instantly. It may have chosen to wait before attacking.

Question: I have no idea what episode where this is from, but during one conversation all the boys have at the school lunch is talking about Terminator and Skeletor with Butters exclaiming "Skeletor is real?" I'm assuming that Terminator is Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver being Skeletor. I don't understand the joke or the conversation of Maria being Skeletor?

Richie

Answer: In S15 E04, "T.M.I, " at the start the joke is that Maria Shriver, prior to getting together with Arnold, was hot; and now she's all bony (time code 00:00:40).

Answer: I believe this is from s15e12 "1%." Many people, especially on the internet, say that Maria Shriver looks like Skeletor because of the bony features of her face. She has very high cheek bones and a broad, flat, square jaw that resembles Skeletor's jaw (the mandible). Sometimes she appears to have sunken in eyes too.
