Plot hole: Linderman didn't know who Jason was after the rave massacre, calling him a "psycho in the hockey-mask", but later in the film when Stubb's is telling them (Will, Lori, linderman, Freeburg and Kia) about thinking Jason is a copycat, Linderman suddenly acts like he knows who they're dealing with when he didn't before. "I've seen what he can do, he's the real Jason."

Dawn of the Dead (2004)
Question: What did CJ mean when he said, "f*cking figures", before he blew himself up with some of the zombies?
Answer: "Figures" is an English expression of figure of speech about something happens and a predicament winding up a certain way. It's a play on the mathematical term of figures in an equation having a determined answer. If you follow the figures, of course you get what is comes as the answer. This is often used in real life situations as a figure of speech, where of course the stuff that happens leads to this. It "figures." So basically CJ was saying, "of course this is what happens."

Question: Before Scar 'betrays' the hyenas by saying that they were the real enemy, (Shenzi, Banzai and Ed are shown to have overheard), what were they doing up there in the first place before they overheard Scar?
Answer: They were probably going to help Scar defeat Simba by jumping on him since he couldn't see them but after overhearing what Scar said decided to kill him. It's really speculation but, that's just one of many different possibilities.

Ghost Ship (2002)
Other mistake: Ferriman says he can only mark someone if they do something sinful first. Dodge shouldn't have been marked as he technically shot Ferriman in self-defense, which isn't considered a sin, but near the end Epps sees her dead crewmates and Dodge is also shown as well as marked.
Suggested correction: It was implied that if they sinned in their life they could be marked not immediately before death. That is also why the demon explained that he couldn't mark Katie because she never committed any sins.

Underworld (2003)
Plot hole: Singe states that Viktor and Amelia are pure-blooded Vampires, and seems to agree when Viktor calls the story of the Corvinus Clan a legend. However, Evolution shows that Lucian had formed a partnership with Andreas Tanis, a Vampire who was outcast by Viktor specifically because he knew the truth of the Corvinus Clan and the origins of the Vampire and Lycan bloodlines. Given his lack of loyalty to the Vampires, there is no reason why Tanis would not have told Lucian that Viktor and Amelia are not pure-bloods, or that the legend of the Corvinus clan was entirely true. Lucian would have passed this information to Singe, as it would be vital to his work.

Venom (2018)
Plot hole: The Riot symbiote inhabits the body of the paramedic immediately after the crash at the beginning, then goes into the body of an old woman who goes to the airport and proceeds to take control of a little girl who's going on a flight to San Fransisco. Riot then takes over Carlton Drake's body. The entirety of these events would need to have taken six months, for it to be consistent with the timeline of the rest of the film.
Suggested correction: Riot only arrives at the airport as the old woman after 6 months. There is no reason given why Riot decides to stay in the body of the woman for so long, but not giving a reason doesn't make it a plot hole. It stayed in the old woman for 6 months maybe because it needed to gather strength or devise a plan.
The director has even admitted it's a plot hole. Regardless, the film does nothing to suggest it was doing anything other than traveling towards its destination, so this does constitute a plot hole.
Why does it constitute as a plot hole if it's traveling towards its destination? Why does one thing imply the other?
It's a plot hole because it's absolutely ridiculous that it would take six full months to do that. That's a few days worth of activity... maybe a week. As I said, the director even admitted it was a plot-hole.

I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998)
Question: Why did Estes attack Will with the paddle oar when he said "we're not going anywhere", and what did he mean by that?
Answer: I think that Estes already knew that Will was Ben's son. He had made a comment about a man (Ben) killing his wife (Sarah) in the same room Julie and Will was staying in. He also makes a comment about Will having his mother's eyes. So he probably recognized him. He also knew that the answer they gave to the radio host was wrong, and that proved it was a set up from the beginning.

This would explain why he had her and Deke into the cellar to be locked up with the others. Also, don't forget she was startled to see the freezer and Amy popping out of it.

Question: If the Basilisk snatched Ginny and took her to the chamber, then why doesn't she have teeth marks when they show her lying on the chamber floor? Surely the Basilisk didn't drag her, because it doesn't obviously have arms.
Answer: The comment that she was "snatched" was a generalization used by the Hogwarts staff and not a literal description of her physically being taken. Riddle was able to control Ginny through the diary, putting her into a trance and commanding her what to do. She most likely was instructed to follow the basilisk into the Chamber of Secrets.
8th Dec 2017
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002)
Question: Did the Basilisk intentionally mean to petrify Mrs. Norris or was she in the wrong place at the wrong time?
Answer: It was just a coincidence. There was a puddle on the floor that Mrs Norris was drinking from. When the Basilisk appeared she seen its reflection in the water and was petrified. Though, even with it not being intentional, she still would have died had she actually looked it in the eyes instead of seeing it through a reflection.

Valentine (2001)
Question: Whenever Adam / Jeremy Melton is the killer and he kills one of the girls his nose starts to bleed, obviously from all the stress he has to go through to kill them. But whenever he's not the killer, why doesn't his nose bleed? Until at the very end when his nose starts bleeding on to Kate.
Answer: Plot hole? Or perhaps Adam's / Jeremy's nose was bleeding because he was about to snap Kate's neck. Or it was because he was so happy.
He killed Dorothy at the end that could be why his nose bleeds.
Answer: Paraphilia is a condition characterized by abnormal sexual desires, typically involving extreme or dangerous activities. He technically "got off" when killing people.

Saving Private Ryan (1998)
Question: What exactly killed Sergeant Horvath? I reviewed the scene carefully but I couldn't tell what exactly pierced his back - was it a piece of shrapnel, or did he get shot by one of the Wehrmacht German troops?
Answer: Horvath was shot in the back by attacking Germans trying to seize control of the bridge. He was shot a total of 3 times. Once when he went toe to toe with the German. His German attacker's gun was jammed/empty of ammo. The German throws his helmet, so does he, beats the German to a pistol draw and gets shot in the side, then throws his .45 cal at other Germans. Another after he fired a bazooka round and Miller is yelling to get off the bridge - he starts falling back and gets hit in the leg. The 3rd was in the back, right after the 2nd when he stood back up.

7th Nov 2017
The Relic (1997)
Question: Why didn't the Kothoga kill the German Shepherd dog in the sewers? It killed the other one, but spares this one, despite killing its handler.
Answer: More then likely, the dog was too afraid of the Kothoga to attack it and when the Kothoga saw this, it let the dog live. The other dog was probably unafraid and tried to attack the Kothoga which prompted it to kill the dog; not out of self-defense, but, because there were still people trapped in the museum and the dog was impeding his attack.
Answer: The beast needed human brain cells to survive, not animal cells, it ignored the dog because it wasn't important. After it killed the first one, it knew his canine brain cells would not work.
Answer: It's possible that the human side of the Kothoga, John Whitney emerged and seeing that the dog was afraid decided to let it live feeling pity for it.
