Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Edward rushes in to save Bella from the truck about to crush her, he knocks her down but holds her up, then he lets go and jumps over the back of the cars. In the next scene when Bella is in the Emergency room, Carlisle says, "You hit your head," but she never did.

midorimentality

Correction: Edward and Carlisle both tell Bella she hit her head -- because they want her to believe the "unreal" aspects of the accident and how Edward saved her is because she hit her head. This is not a mistake.

Changeling (2008)

Corrected entry: Street scenes set in 1928 show numerous cars which were not manufactured until the early 1930s. Indeed, many of the same cars appear in street scenes set in 1935.

Correction: Too vague -- which cars? What year do you contend they were made? And showing the same cars in 1935 means nothing, since this WAS the Great Depression and people would continue to use their cars for as long as possible.

Tropic Thunder (2008)

Corrected entry: The guys find a water buffalo which they use for transportation. The buffalo has a nose ring in its nostrils, yet it is meant to be a wild buffalo.

Correction: Nothing about this scene implies it's a wild animal. It's an animal that was not contained in a corral or pasture; it doesn't mean it's supposed to be a wild animal.

Corrected entry: When little Alex is in the box in New York, there is a fish in his hand when he is taken out of the box. The box is sealed tight when he is seen floating from Africa and to New York.

Correction: No, there is a hole in the box, as shown from a cutaway of little Alex curled in the box, out to the open sea.

The Hours (2002)

Corrected entry: When Laura leaves Richie at Mrs. Latch's place he is carrying a red suitcase in his hands. Richie and Mrs. Latch look from the doorsteps how Laura drives off, and the suitcase isn't there anymore. This is seen best when he starts running after the car. (00:59:50)

NancyFelix

Correction: Mrs. Latch opens the door, just as Laura begins walking away, and puts the box inside. Watch behind Laura while she's walking - Mrs. Latch moves toward the open door, attempting to lead Richie inside.

The Hours (2002)

Corrected entry: When Clarissa comes to see Richard for the first time, the proportion of white flowers in the bunch she is carrying goes down drastically when she enters the apartment. (00:17:55)

NancyFelix

Correction: The large bundle of flowers Clarissa carries does not change in any way, from the time we see her cross the street until she opens the bundles and arranges the flowers in vases. The flowers are all very consistent throughout.

The Hours (2002)

Corrected entry: When Laura picks up Virginia Woolf's book from under the bedside table we see a close-up with four separate, parallelly arranged stacks of books. When the camera angle changes there are only three irregularly arranged stacks. (00:07:20)

NancyFelix

Correction: There are only three stacks at all times during the scene. And there are still only three stacks later in the day, when Laura is lying on the bed again.

Corrected entry: When Lt. Dunbar goes to bed, Cisco the horse is in the corral, unsaddled. When Dunbar wakes up the next morning and says "bad horse," the horse is waiting at the door to the cabin with his saddle and blanket on.

Correction: Where do you see Cisco unsaddled in the corral on the first night at the fort? I watched these scene several times - Dunbar and Timmons unload the provisions until dusk, Timmons rides off and Dunbar falls onto his bunk, exhausted. We never see Cisco between his arrival at the fort until the next morning, when he awakens Dunbar.

Brenda Elzin

Corrected entry: When Dunbar is riding into the village to talk with Stands With A Fist, Wind In His Hair (appearing immediately to the left of Dunbar) is wearing Dunbar's Lieutenant dress jacket, which Dunbar does not give to Wind In His Hair until well after this scene takes place. (01:35:10)

Correction: Wind in His Hair is wearing 'a' soldier's jacket - not necessarily Dunbar's jacket. Native Americans would often take spoils from raids - as trophies - including (and especially) the uniforms of soldiers they had killed.

Brenda Elzin

Correct - he got it off another soldier.

Correction: When John Dunbar first walks into the abandoned soldiers' fort, a soldier's jacket is hanging. It's possible that other jackets were there and possibly taken as a trophy after the fort was abandoned.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: In the first exterior shot of the hotel in "Scottsdale" (actually California), we see a light-post on the left of the screen with a large yellow banner reading "Scottsdale". In the next two exterior hotel shots, the banner is gone- though it is supposed to be the same day.

Correction: Not a mistake - it could have been taken down "that day". It's only a mistake if it changes immediately from shot to shot.

Corrected entry: Hermione says Moaning Myrtle haunts the bathroom on the first floor. However, when Harry sees the writing on the wall outside her bathroom, he is on the second floor.

Correction: There is no reference to Harry being on the second floor when he sees the writing.

Brenda Elzin

But just before he finds Mrs Norris and sees the writing, it says they sprinted up the stairs to the second floor.

Friends (1994)

The One With Monica's Thunder - S7-E1

Corrected entry: From the start of Series 7 (and for the next 2 series' at least) does anyone else notice the change in Matthew Perry's voice? I've searched to see if anyone else has mentioned it and as far as I can tell, no one has, but to me it's very obvious. I'm not sure I can explain it too well, but there's just something in his voice that changed (the tone of it and overall sound); it sounds like a different person talking.

Correction: Matthew Perry stopped smoking during the run of the series. He apparently was a very heavy smoker. This most likely accounts for the change in his voice. In any case, this isn't a 'mistake' in the first place.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: During the first killing at the mill, it's daylight. The next shot is very short - it's dark and raining in front of Charlie's house. Then it's morning and Bella is leaving for school (when she slips on the ice). While the rain in evening may be the explanation for morning ice, it seems completely unnecessary, especially considering how short the clip is. It seems more likely that there was supposed to be another evening scene that was later cut. In addition, when the van skids on the ice in the school parking lot, it's after school. Since it's spring in WA (she starts school in March), it is very unlikely that the school parking lot would still be icy in the afternoon. In the book, the van accident occurs before school opens for the day.

Correction: NONE of these are movie mistakes; they are issues of editorial license between the book and the movie. And Washington State in March is almost always close to or below freezing in temperature.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: In the baseball field when James, Laurent, and Victoria meet the Cullens, they would have been able to smell Bella was human. Rosalie smelled her when she was in the Cullen's house for dinner.

Correction: They DID smell Bella's human scent - that's why James pursued her thereafter.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: Billy Black is supposed to be paralyzed in his legs but when they come to Bella's house the second time, Billy is driving.

Correction: People who are partially paralyzed (in the legs) can drive vehicles with special hand controls. Unless there is more to this mistake that has not been stated, this is not necessarily a mistake.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: In the scene at the dance studio there are many many mirrors. Bella sees James's reflection in the mirrors. But James is a vampire. Vampires historically do not have reflections.

Correction: "Historically" does not apply here - this movie is consistent with the book from which it is derived. These vampires are not like others in literature. This is made very clear in the books - and in the movie as well, with many things being different (reflecting in the sunlight vs. being tortured by sunlight, etc.).

Charlie Bartlett (2007)

Corrected entry: In the scene after the school dance and Charlie is walking through the halls, the next day him and Susan are in the same clothes they are wearing in the bathroom scene that takes place a few days later.

Correction: So? Don't you wear the same clothes more than once? And "a few days later" would mean the clothes could have been washed.

Brenda Elzin

Corrected entry: Linda says that she last saw Chad at the Jamba Juice on K Street. There is no Jamba Juice on K Street in Washington, D.C.

Correction: Creative license, NOT a mistake.

Brenda Elzin

Corrected entry: When Linda gets up to leave the lighting brackets and a stage light can be seen on the ceiling behind her head.

Correction: WHERE/WHEN? Time code?

Brenda Elzin

Corrected entry: When the Kilmer and Douglas characters find the lions' lair, there are bones and skulls everywhere. All the bones and skulls were clean for the most part. It was said in the film that the lions were killing the people just for sport and not for food, so how did the bones get so clean and free of eyeballs, etc. And it's not bugs or decomposition, or the bones on top would not be so clean.

Correction: The skeletons in the cave were killed for food, as evidenced by the fact that they were taken to the lair. The lions killed the railway workers for sport and left the victims where they lay.
