Corrected entry: Blackout is in the fight scene between Optimus, Starscream and Megatron in the woods, and has his face ripped apart by Optimus. But he was quite killed by aircraft fire and a rocket launcher in the final battle of the first film. This is definitely Blackout, and makes no sense.

Correction: This character is NOT Blackout. His name is Grindor and he used the same alt mode as Blackout. His head has an entirely different design than Blackout.

Corrected entry: In the first movie, the Allspark Cube fell to Earth over a thousand years ago. In the second movie, it explains that the Transformers have been on Earth for about the same time (if not longer). If the Transformers have been on Earth for over a thousand years, why didn't they recover the Allspark Cube then?

Correction: First, plain and simple they weren't looking for it. As we've seen, when transformers look for a specific energy signature, they tend to ignore all other signatures. Also the Seekers as they're known, may have been in a dormant period (as Jetfire was) and not know the Cube was lost to Earth. While we see there were active Seekers in the late 19th and early 20th century, they weren't looking for the Cube and they had no knowledge it was here. Why would you look for something you didn't know was here in the first place?

Corrected entry: The Matrix of Leadership only collapses to dust when Sam touches it. If the Matrix was indeed locked off for thousands of years, it would've collapsed the minute Bumblebee blasted the tomb open. Simmons even says that the sudden burst of air caused the key to collapse.

Brad

Correction: Simmons was simply assuming the fresh air after years of being sealed caused the Matrix to fall to dust. Bumblebee shooting the wall and the air had nothing to do with the Matrix disintigrating. As is later revealed, the reason the Matrix disintigrated was because Sam had not "earned" the Matrix in the eyes of the Primes, something he did when he put his life on the line for Optimus. As the Primes said in Sam's vision, "The Matrix must be EARNED, not found".

Corrected entry: The Autobots and Decepticons apparently require air (vaporous puffs of breath when speaking, labored breathing when in distress, etc.), yet can still fly through hard vacuum when the plot requires them to.

JayK

Correction: This was listed, then corrected for the first mvie. Transformers mimic whatever lifeform they blend with so breathing, talking, etc. while not neccessary, is mimicked so they are able to blend and connect with whatever lifeforms they encounter.

Corrected entry: At the end of the first film, the remains of Megatron and the other Decepticons were sunk to great depths because the pressure and freezing temperatures (to which Transformers are vulnerable) will prevent the remains from being recovered. Yet this was completely ignored in this movie, with the Decepticons diving in to retrieve and revive Megatron.

Correction: In the Prequel Comic to the first movie, it's explained that Megatron was frozen because his Energon reserves were low afer traveling from Cybertron to Earth. A fully functional and charged Transformer can still withstand the cold and depth. That was a wrong assumption on the Secretary of Defense that no one would be able to retrieve or revive them.

Forever Young (1992)

Corrected entry: Daniel refers to the landing speed of the B25 bomber as 135 miles per hour. First, no pilot, especially one of WW2 vintage, ever referred to an aircraft speed in miles per hour. He would refer to the speed in knots. (In this case, about 115 knots) Second, the B25 had a landing speed of 90 knots - a little over 100 miles per hour.

Correction: You forget that hes also explaining the landing process to a 10 year old. Nat may or may not know what a knot is. Hes simply passing along the the information in terms that Nat would understand. And Daniel wouldnt know what the final correct landing speeds are for a B-25. He was testing the aircraft when he went into the deep freeze. He wouldnt have the final operational data on the aircraft.

Star Trek (2009)

Corrected entry: Whenever the Romulan mining ship lowers its laser drill into the atmosphere of a planet, the drill and chain hang straight down. Regardless of whether the ship is station-keeping over the same spot on the rotating planet or has found the proper geosynchronous orbital altitude to stay there, the lowered chain would experience orbital tidal forces sideways along its length that would not allow it to stay "straight up and down", even if one believes that it is strong enough to endure the tension involved.

Correction: Force Fields, Shields, and Inertial Dampers all keep the Drill steady. All are regularly used technology in the Star Trek Universe.

Corrected entry: The blades Weapon XI wields are nearly the full length of the arm. If this were true, he would not be able bend at the elbows.

Correction: Weapon XI has multiple powers from multiple mutants. Theres no telling what his blades do when retracted.

The Core (2003)

Corrected entry: While in the geode, you can see that the giant crystals are twinkling and there is a definite source of natural looking light. Being as light has trouble penetrating through a few hundred metres of sea water, it would be fairly unlikely (impossible) for light to reach inside a sealed geode a few thousand miles beneath the surface of the earth. (01:03:40)

Correction: The light came from the external lights on the "Virgil". Light reflected from the original source to one crystal then another and so on.

Corrected entry: If you look on the front of the Trans-Am there is an eagle, which was on the hood of the real bandit's hood in the first two Smokey and The Bandit movies.

Correction: The eagle was on the front of the hood because it was part of the optional gold trim package that was a feature on the car. The eagle was in no way meant as a tribute to the first 2 movies. This is in no way a vaible trivia entry.

Transformers (2007)

Corrected entry: When at the Hoover Dam, they all hop into their cars telling everyone, that they need to move "The Cube" into the next town, 20 miles away. When they arrive they are in Downtown L.A. which is about 500 miles away from the Hoover Dam.

Correction: The town they drive to is called Mission City as stated by the AF captain. While it may look like L.A., its not. L.A. was simply used as a set for a different city altogether. It's done in movies all the time.

Transformers (2007)

Corrected entry: Devastator was the character's working title, and was intended to be called "Brawl." This was left in the theatrical release, but will be corrected on DVD. The reason for this that the Constructicons, which form Devastator, are in the running for appearing in the sequel.

Correction: After watching the DVD it is confirmed that the Brawl/Devastator error was not fixed. I just finished veiwing the collectors edition 2 disk release and Devastator was still in the subtitles.
