Other mistake: Towards the end of the movie when Spencer is riding the motorcycle to the top of the jaguar statue, he throws the grappling hook and swings on the rope. When Martha hands him the jewel as she falls, the rope he was swinging on disappears.

Factual error: When Alex gets bitten by a mosquito (one of his weaknesses) and Bethany saves him. They venture off into the jungle to find the statue, so there was only 1 mosquito in the jungle? A jungle is full of mosquitos.

Other mistake: When Bob Stone is at Calvin's office, and they get confronted by Pam and agents, Bob Stone throws a flash bomb, pushes Calvin in the mail basket towards the window, shooting at the window, it shatters before they actually go through it when jumping out of the building.

Continuity mistake: When they get to the bazaar, Bethany is hungry and grabs something to eat. She thinks it's bread, but it's cake. When Mouse Finbar takes a bite and realises its cake, as he talks to Bethany, the shots go back and forth and Finbar has a mouth full of food, then he doesn't, then he does, etc.

Continuity mistake: After leaving the immigration office, Margaret and Andrew are talking outside standing on the sidewalk. During the shot of Margaret, there is a person standing behind her to the left wearing a grey outfit. Next shot goes to Andrew, then back to Margaret and the person is gone. Next shot goes to Andrew, then back to Margaret and the person is there again.

Continuity mistake: When Andrew and Margaret are in the boat and Margaret is driving, her hair is blowing back in the wind except for one shot when she is "talking about his family loving him and he has Gertrude". Then her hair is straight down, when it should be blowing in the wind as the boat is speeding across the water.

Continuity mistake: Right before Pam tortures Bob Stone, one of her guys escorts Jet into another room and before he leaves the room, he grabs a red bag of chips, leaving only a blue bag of chips in the bowl. The next shot of Jet in that same room, the red bag of chips is back in the bowl.

Continuity mistake: Towards the end when the group of 5 are getting ready to go down the lit path to return the jewel, Spencer tells Fridge to hand him the jewel, then when he starts the climb through the trees the jewel disappears. When he falls out of the tree and 'dies', then runs back to his friends, Alex asks if he has the jewel and he takes it out of his pocket, then the very next scene puts his hands on his hips and the jewel is gone again.

Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the movie when John Kruger goes to Lee's house with the balloons; Darryl gets shot and John and Lee leave the house, get in the van and drive away. One of the guys outside shoots at the van twice, shattering the back two windows and putting two bullet holes in the windshield. In the next shot of John and Lee through the windshield, there are no bullet holes. The shot after that when they drive away, the shattered windows are not shattered anymore - you can see the reflection of light on the windows as they drive off.

Factual error: Towards the end of the movie when the Titans are playing for the championship, Petie grabs up a fumbled ball and runs with it. When he stands up from being tackled, watching TV back in his hospital room, Gary yells Petie's name and the nurse comes to Gary's room to see if everything is all right. When she opens the door to Gary's hospital room, she opens it into the hallway. There isn't a hospital in the world where the patients door opens into the hallway. They all open inward to the patient's room.

Factual error: When Libby makes a phone call from jail, she states to the business that she is Angela Green and she wants to make sure that her severance check is mailed to the correct address. In real life, the business Libby called would've have never accepted the call under the assumed name of Angela Green because when you call ANYWHERE from jail there is an operator on the phone to tell the receiver of the call where you are calling from and who you are, and will they accept the call.
