Factual error: The members of the expedition are wearing their Snow Goggles on their hats with the lenses to the front. However, anyone who has ever worked in a cold weather environment (especially the guide and her "7 seasons on the ice") would know that the goggles should be worn backwards if they're not over your eyes. This keeps them from getting moisture on them.

Factual error: During one of the first scenes with Teddy Roosevelt he has a small "2" on his collar above his Cavalry crossed sabers. However, his "Rough Riders" were in the 1st Cavalry Regiment. Later in the movie he's wearing the correct "1" there. (00:36:20)

Factual error: At the time Die Hard 2 was made the only people in the Army that wore black berets were Rangers. If anything an SF (Green beret) team would be responsible for providing aid in that situation. (01:03:15 - 01:28:15)

Factual error: The 4th Infantry Division drives Bradley fighting vehicles, not LMTV's (trucks) as seen in the Iraq scene.
