Answer: When the movie came out in '89, it was revealed that the director's son had a part written just for him as the villain's son, and he would be called Snake. This relationship, however, was never addressed in the film itself and Snake just became a member of the house staff for Silver.

Question: At the end after Clark tells the Mayor the state can go to Hell, it seems like there was a cut scene. Clark tells the students that he was not going anywhere. They then show scattered cheering before Clark ask the students, "Are you ready, maestro?" without any lead-in. Was there a deleted scene to describe what appears to be this gap?
Answer: He actually said "are you ready my Ghosts (not Maestro)", but what I wondered is how he was able to just walk away after he was arrested.

Question: In Kobra Kai, Silver tells Chozen he never had children. Then why are people saying Snake was Silver's son especially since it was never established in the movie that he was?
Answer: When the movie came out in '89, it was revealed by the director John Avildsen that he had cast his real life son Jonathon as Terry Silvers son Snake. Although that connection is not mentioned in the movie, it did help explain why a grown man had a teenage boy living in his house.

Not only did Debbie lean back into him and smile, but Mike looked at them and didn't seem bothered. However, Ted said this a minute or 2 before they arrived. We even see the phonebooth they are in land after the statement was made. Therefore, there was no way for his wife to hear him say that.

Answer: She actually said "The VEIL" after remembering her sister tossing it away (when bugged she couldn't see with it on). Sam simply went back in the church to pick it up.

Plot hole: At the end, everyone was returned to their own timeline. Except for Ted's dad. He's shown still playing till the end and not disappearing like the others. However, this version of Ted's dad came from the future when he attempted to arrest his son at David Grohl's house. Therefore, he should have disappeared with the others and returned to his future timeline.

Suggested correction: That's not what happened at the end at all. Only those whose were time-displaced returned to their own timeline. Which is why we see Kid Cudi leave, he was time-displaced and not picked up in the time machine. You can even see Ling Lun is still playing.
Incorrect. Ted's dad was time displaced as well. He never arrived by the time machine, but was sent to hell after being killed by Dennis. Therefore, he should have been sent back to his future timeline.
Ted's dad was never time-displaced, nor did I say he arrived by time-machine. He was sent to Hell in his own time line and then went with the group to 2020. Unlike Kid Cudi who was time-displaced because he popped out of his own timeline because of time and space collapsing. Just being from a different time isn't what time-displaced meant.

Question: At the end, during the battle with Lotto, Rabbit tells him to "Pay attention. You're saying the same shit he said" while pointing to Lyckety-Splyt. Lotto's insults were all racist, while Lyckety (whose only racial comment was calling Rabbit a Nazi), focused his insults towards beating Rabbit and insulting his friends. Therefore how was Lotto repeating Lickety's insults?
Answer: Lyckety made several racial insults in addition to calling Rabbit a Nazi: "You the New Kid on the Block about to get smacked back to the boondocks", "form a squad with Vanilla Ice", "this guy's a hillbilly, this ain't Willie Nelson music", "you'll get dropped so hard that Elvis will start turnin' in his grave", "need to take your white a** back across 8 Mile to the trailer park." Cleverly, all of Lyckety's racial insults refer specifically to white recording artists besides his final insult. Lotto does essentially the same thing, saying generic things about Rabbit's race. This is why Rabbit says "you see how far the white jokes get you" when he battles Lotto.

Question: During the heist at the post office, Baby shakes his head at a woman who in turn grabs a cop. When the lady was walking up, she smiled and waved like she knew him. However at the end during her testimony, it seems like she didn't know him after all. If that's the case, why did she smile and wave at him? Did I miss something?
Answer: The woman works at the Post Office and was the one who served Baby and Sam the day before. He's shaking his head at her because he doesn't want her to go in the building and get hurt/ killed in the heist that's happening at that time. She doesn't know him in a personal way like Joseph or Debora.

Plot hole: In the 8th Wizard Of Oz book titled Tik-Tok Of Oz, the group runs into Polychrome, the rainbow's daughter. Polychrome and Shaggy Man first met up in book #5 titled The Road To Oz. However in this book, Shaggy Man and Polychrome act as if it is the 1st time they ever met each other. They make no mention of them meeting before in the prior book.

Question: Either it was explained in this episode and I missed it or maybe it was explained in a later episode and I haven't seen it yet, but I have always been curious. If the Asgard were able to remove the Goa'uld from Skaara, then why couldn't they do the same with Teal'c?
Chosen answer: Skaara has a Goa'uld in his head controlling him. Removing it returns him to a normal human being. Teal'c has a Goa'uld in a sac in his stomach. The Goa'uld in Teal'c acts as his immune system and helps him to have a very long life span. Removing it would kill him.

Plot hole: When Rachael/Ruby is attacked by Pluto in the rafters, Cass, being blind, is able to hear her cry out. When she does, Cass calls out to her by saying "Ruby." However it was a couple scenes later when Rachael tells everyone that she is really Ruby. Cass is surprised to hear this. Therefore, not knowing that Rachael was really Ruby, she should have called out "Rachael" instead of "Ruby" when she was attacked because she didn't know the truth by then.

Question: I am confused as to what really happened. Was the entire series of movies a fantasy of Reggie's like Mike said it was? Was the planet taken over by the Tall Man like the other reality showed? Or are we left to our own imagination on which reality was real and which was not?
Chosen answer: This film is infamous for its confusing to follow narrative, owed to the fact it was originally intended as a series of shorts rather than a linear structure. As it stands it is up to the viewer to decide, however the post credits scene seems to suggest one world is real as Reggie plays no part in the scene.

Other mistake: When they are meeting in Hogsmeade to discuss having Harry train them in Defense Against The Dark Arts, Susan Bones asks Harry if it was true he could produce a Patronus Charm. After Harry said yes, everyone is impressed and surprised. However in The Prisoner Of Azkaban, Harry produces a Patronus during the Quidditch match when Malfoy was dressed as a Dementor. This was done in front of the whole school. So everyone at the meeting shouldn't have been surprised.

He does produce a corporeal patronus at the quidditch match. As Dumbledore references at the end of PoA "I remembered the most unusual form your patronus took, when it charged Mr Malfoy down at your quidditch match."

Question: One thing I never understood in the movie. At the end right before the final punch, the principal sits up and says "don't fuck this up Mitchell." Was he referring to not losing the fight? Was he referring to his school career? It is hard to tell especially since he saved Mitchell from the police, then smiled and nodded at him before walking away.
Answer: He's telling him to win the fight. The principal knows if the bully isn't defeated, he'll continue to harass him and the students. He believes if the bully loses the fight, he'll no longer be a problem at the school.

Answer: At the end locusts descend on earth from heaven to wipe out the human race. This is taken directly from the bible. Basically, everyone who was not taken during the rapture would be left on earth to be tormented and eventually all of humanity would be wiped out by a massive swarm of locusts.

Question: Why did Kurt Russell sound the alarm when the thing was attacking the dogs? He was nowhere near the area and could not see what was going on. Also before he pulled the alarm, the sound he would hear was too faint to think something was wrong.
Answer: Remember that he'd just spent the whole day investigating how something mysterious and horrible destroyed the Norwegian camp, so he's already in a spooked state of mind. Hearing the dogs screaming at night is already unusual on its own, and also reminds him how this whole episode all started with a crazed Norwegian trying to kill a dog. Deep down he knows whatever happened to the Norwegians is now starting at their own camp.
Chosen answer: He sensed something was wrong and wanted as much help from the others as possible.
Answer: Having investigated the Norwegian camp, he could have conceived that the use of fire would be helpful. As such, he would need fire extinguishers after combating whatever the thing might be with the flamethrowers. It could have been foresight on his part that by ringing the fire alarms, somebody was more likely to bring fire extinguishers with them, thus allowing better control of the fire.

Return of the Living Dead: Rave to the Grave (2005)
Question: I am having trouble finding this online. Although the 3 main characters are from the 4th movie with the same names, the main guy is upset that his uncle died, even though he tried to kill him and his friends in the prior movie. They all act like this is all new to them. My question is, does this follow the events from the prior movie and they are aware of those events, or is this just paying homage to the 1st and 2nd movie where Frank and Freddy were killed off but returned as different, although similar, characters?
Answer: This movie is actually off task like the fourth film. Both 4 and Rave to the grave feature zombies that are supposed to be indestructible like in the first three films, but are not indestructible and the only people aware of the chemical's nature are the main characters, police, and military from the first film and the main characters and military from the second and third films. So although the fourth and fifth installments in the franchise are sequels to the previous films, they aren't really connected with the three installments as the fourth installment takes place in the future and the fifth installment takes time somewhere between the third and fourth film and the chemical's effects are shown to have changed after the third film.

Question: I am officially confused. Corrections on this site by a few people state it is all just a dream. However at the end of the movie, Sandler finds the remote at home with a note from Morty. So is it a dream or not? If so, then what is the deal with the remote at the end of the movie?
Chosen answer: It was not a dream - Adam Sandler just thought it was. Morty left the remote at Michael's house as a way of letting him know that he has been given a second chance.
Remember, Morty was the Angel of Death. He gave Michael the remote (control) of his life once to do things his way and allowed him to get his earthly material desires. He became CEO of the company but sacrificed all the valuable time he could've spent with his family. At the end, the remote appears to him again. This time it's significance is "temptation" he's being given the chance to take control of things again in real life. Not just in his dream. He knows now the repercussions of wanting the.
... back into our physical body. Remember that God is always in control. Don't take the remote away from him to try to do things your way or you won't like what you find at the end of the Rainbow (Death and regret). What Morty was telling Michael in one scene about the lucky charms metaphor.
I believe it was a dream because he comes home and everything is back to normal the kids are still young his dad is living the dog Sundance is still living and his wife isn't with bill the guy that teaches Ben how to swim. He was living in a different kind of reality.

Answer: Of course it's all a dream. He falls asleep on the bed at Bed, Bath and Beyond. At the end, he wakes up from the dream on the same bed. The remote and note from Morty at the end is supposed to be the "mystery" of the movie since he learned his lesson throughout the dream and gets a second chance to live normal. Speeding through the tough parts of life is not really a "dream come true" life since you'll miss everything life has to offer.
This same "mystery" theory of whether or not it was a dream also occurred in the old Bugs Bunny cartoon with the evil scientist and red monster. Bugs woke up from a "dream" only to see the monster from the dream talking to him. It definitely plays with your mind.

General questions
Trying to find the name of a horror movie maybe from the late 80's early 90's. All I remember is that a young man inherits a cabin (or something). He takes a group of friends there. When he gets there, he walks to the side of the place only to find it as a skeletal structure with just the front standing. However the front showed a full cabin and they were able to go inside, which showed a full house. It had something to do with demons or something that killed off his friends 1 by 1 and possessing them. The only other scene I remember is towards the end of the movie, he wakes up to find all his "dead" friends helping him up. They said as soon as he stepped through the doorway he passed out. He began telling him about his "dream" when one of his friends throws up blood (or something) and says "oops." When the guy looked around him it showed his friends all in demon-like form (them waking him up was just a trick) and the chase resumed. Sorry but that is all I can remember.

However he seems like he plays an AIDS patient in a couple of other movies, with the same lesions, same gay act, etc. Is he really like this or do they seem to cast him in the part because he plays it so well? General questions
When people point out a movie mistake, a lot of the time it is answered as a "character mistake" and not a "movie mistake?" What difference does it make? The scene was written for the movie and filmed. The mistake was not noticed during filming or when editing, the mistake was not noticed and they could have used another footage without the mistake. So how can the producer/director/editor leaving a mistake in post production considered a "character mistake" and not a movie mistake?" This question was answered earlier but the answer still makes no sense to me.
Chosen answer: It's a slight matter of judgment, but broadly speaking "character mistakes" are the sort of mistakes people make in real life - getting a historical date or other factual information wrong, or a mis-spelling on a sign, things like that. As such they could be a sign of bad filmmaking, or just a believable slip that someone could easily make in real life. So it makes sense to have a section for these sort of "behavioural mistakes" different to "factual errors" which are definitely filmmaking/research mistakes, such as wreckage burning in space, or it apparently being daylight everywhere in the world at the same time (both from Armageddon).

Question: While doing the kata, the only time Daniel moves his feet is when he turns during the kata. He never moves towards Barnes. At one point, Barnes tries to moves towards Daniel but stops when Daniel starts the kata. It is finally Barnes who moves towards Daniel, not the other way around. Would it be legal for Daniel to distract Barnes with kata in the middle of a tournament, as he's not moving towards Barnes at any time?
Chosen answer: Yes, it is legal. As long as a competitor is in motion the match continues. Had Daniel stayed in his upright "ready stance", he would have been dq'd for match delay.

Question: Why was Ali mad at Daniel at the mini golf course? The last time we saw them together was at the club where Daniel got embarrassed. But they were already planning to meet there. I have seen no explanation as to why she was mad at him.
Chosen answer: Ali was upset with Daniel because he didn't allow her to explain why when he came to pick her up, he found her not only dancing with her ex-boyfriend but kissing him. He ran off after running into a waiter and everyone (Johnny included) laughed at him as he sat on the ground in a mostly white outfit covered in spaghetti sauce.
Answer: I never understood that either. Of course he ran off without letting her explain! That was humiliating and she should have been the one to apologize.

Question: Why wasn't Johnny disqualified for his own "illegal contact to the knee" like Bobby was? We know the ref saw it happen because he gave Johnny a warning. Never made sense to me.
Answer: The answer makes no sense since Johnny caught the leg and purposely rams the elbow into the back of the knee. There was no accident about it. Even the ref acknowledged this.
Chosen answer: Johnny attacked an illegal area which the rules accept may happen accidentally and so they have provisions for warnings and such in light of that possibility, whereas Bobby performed an illegal technique which cannot happen accidentally, and therefore the rules call for immediate disqualification.
That wasn't an accident; Johnny deliberately elbowed the back of the knee. But having him disqualified would be a terrible ending to a great film. The warning was for plot reasons.
Answer: The movie never explains this and it always seemed like an error to me. I've always reconciled it by saying that a flying kick to an opponents knee is considered so egregious it warrants an instant disqualification, while an elbow to the knee only draws a warning. Once again, the movie never actually says this so it's only speculation but it does make some sort of sense if you think about it.
Answer: I always took it to mean that the kick Bobby did actually put Daniel in a position where he was unable to continue, and that it was a definite attempt at maliciousness (at least in the referee's eyes), whereas Johnny's attack might have simply been an accident. Look when Bobby kicked Daniel's knee-the fight just started, and it wasn't an accident. When Johnny connected (Up to this point Johnny fought fairly and within the rules) they were in the middle of a match, and Johnny simply hit him illegally without intending to. When I used to train and fight in tournaments, I once got punched across the jaw by an opponent who got a warning. When he did it a second time a few seconds later, he was disqualified. It wasn't something that appeared malicious, it was just in the heat of the moment of the fight. Bobby's act wasn't, which is why he got disqualified. Johnny could have been in the heat of the moment, which is why he only got a warning. If he hit the knee again, he would have been disqualified.

Answer: I've seen the 1989 movie many times and never once did Silver ever present Snake as his "son." Snake and Dennis were two young men who simply worked for and/or lived with Silver and only called "the boys" when Mike first arrived.
I never said it was said in the movie. I said people are saying it. Social media. Etc.
