Ransom (1996)

Other mistake: During a chase, Gibson makes a left turn at an intersection causing two girls to suddenly lunge backwards to avoid getting hit. The girl with the long black hair turns to her friend and smiles. This was most likely because she just successfully played a part in a big movie, but I don't think she'd be smiling at that moment. Most of the people in that shot don't react normally but are more explainable given the New York setting.

Other mistake: During the scene where the German Soldiers mow down an entire village, there are many shots of people crying and whimpering before the shooting begins. One little girl starts out with a sad face but then gives a big smile after looking to her left. (01:54:45)

Role Models (2008)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Ronnie steals the Jeep, he makes a large oval out of the parking lot and back in. The outside shot is of him going counter clockwise (turning left), although a shot of the steering wheel shows a large right turn. Note that although this could be explained as turning the wheel to straiten out the car, it happens at the wrong time and the steering wheel's in the wrong starting position. (00:27:00)

Metro (1997)

Other mistake: When Roper and McCall switch places in the tram scene, Roper steps up on the seat while McCall grabs the wheel. Despite the delay between Roper's foot leaving the gas pedal and McCall getting into the front seat, the car does not slow down. (00:57:20)

The Pacifier (2005)

Other mistake: When Shane is installing the security cam, he looks to verify the image, but we are shown a standard quality image that you would find in a typical security cam. If he was on a top priority project for the military, the video quality would be way above what we see. It would also most likely not look like an off the shelf video camera (i.e. it would likely be less detectable than what he put up).

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Peter is at the table and Matthew is collecting his plates, the glass on the right appears to slide slightly towards the camera, as Matthew sets the silverware on the plate. (00:23:35)

Meet By-Product - S2-E17

Deliberate mistake: At the beginning of the episode, when Doug and Carrie are in the shower, you see their silhouettes. The first mistake is that for the silhouettes to show like that they have to be evenly backlit which wouldn't make sense in the shower. The second mistake is a little more subtle; you can see the outline where the actor's bathing suits are (inevitably) slightly larger than the bodies. There is also a slight darkening in the areas where the bathing suits cover skin. (both of these things are much easier to see on Carrie than Doug because of her smoother figure and skin tone).

Banshee (2006)

Revealing mistake: Right after Sage plays chicken with the cops, the cop car is shown peeling out in reverse to follow her down the alley. The dust from the burnout is ejected towards the back of the car. Being a Crown Vic, the car has rear wheel drive but the dust should be moving opposite the car's direction. What this shows is that the car was actually being pulled backwards as it attempted to accelerate forwards. What's more is that even the sound is of a car spinning its tires opposite to being dragged. (00:12:50)

Plot hole: When Kelly writes her number on the paper towel and it ends up in the puddle, it becomes unreadable. It was written with lipstick, which is always oil based and wouldn't bleed at all in water.

Casino Royale (2006)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where James is giving Vesper CPR, the water is seen churning and bubbling through the skylight, and flowing over the roof but the building was no longer sinking at that point so the water would've settled. Also, everything around the building that sunk is perfectly dry. (02:14:15 - 02:16:30)

Visible crew/equipment: When Kumar peels out backwards at the whorehouse, you can see the tow line attached to the undercarriage go slack. It disappears when the camera angle changes. It's also a revealing mistake in that it shows how they were able to do the stunt with the actors in the car. (01:15:20)

Audio problem: When the rider is posing as a doctor and is checking Will's foot, he says, "Hmmm, I wonder. Mrs. Stanton, do you have a tape?" and yet his lips never move. (00:34:00)

Because I Said So (2007)

Factual error: In the scene when Milly is on the phone with her mom and sisters while at the architect's house, she hangs up on the party call and her mom hears a dial tone before lowering the phone which anyone with a cell phone knows won't happen. (00:41:40)

Deliberate mistake: During the final montage, we see Erik and Joyce in bed together, and the next sequence is of Teddy talking to his baby brother. This was to show that they got back together and had another kid. The mistake is that Teddy would've been a year older by that time, and so would've looked a little bigger, although there is also the fact that the actor who played Teddy (Dakota Goyo) was between 7 and 8 for the filming. Numb3rs (2005)

Counterfeit Reality - S1-E7

Factual error: The Secret Service agent says the bills are counterfeit because you can see the watermark under a uv light, which is completely wrong. The uv reactive strip is not a watermark, it's a plastic strip embedded between the two layers of the bill and fluoresces under uv as a security measure. In older bills, it glows blue as in the film. In newer ones, it glows yellow to orange and is on the right half of the bill. A fake bill would be the one that does not glow. (00:07:20)

Nancy Drew (2007)

Deliberate mistake: In the facial morph, the faces don't come anywhere close. The face was morphed with no feature of either resembling the other. The only matching features were the hair and neck which were not touched by the morph. The midpoint of the shift wreaks of Photoshop-like effects (softening of the face alone). (00:41:50)

Factual error: The second time Frank speaks with Booth, the line is being traced. When Frank switches over, Okura tells him to keep Booth on the line until they get the ANI (automatic number identification). Assuming the secret service has access to the phone company's internal computer (since you have to have toll-free service or be a customer of an ANI outsourcing company to receive the subscription based info), ANI only says who the phone is registered to and since the call was being tapped they would've had the ANI information before the call was picked up. This still holds true if the ANI is faked by a well built PBX system (as said later). (00:24:10)

Factual error: When Frank talks to Booth the first time on the phone and realizes he's at the phone outside, he runs to find him, only to find the handset swinging and the phone emitting the periodic screech that is heard after 1 minute of leaving a phone off hook. Seeing as how the apartment is three stories max, there's no way that sound would be playing by time he got there even if Booth somehow hung up first. Furthermore, even if it did take that long, the handset wouldn't still be swinging. (00:14:45)

Daddy Day Camp (2007)

Continuity mistake: Kim reminds Charlie that they already spent a lot of their savings on fixing up the house to handle more kids, but in the first movie they fixed up the old comic book store because they weren't allowed to watch more than 12 kids in their house by law. (00:08:25)

Daddy Day Camp (2007)

Revealing mistake: In the opening scene, the little girl pulls the cake over to her with only a few fingers which is near impossible. When the camera angle shifts and she lets go of the cake, it still wiggles as if she's pulling on it, showing that it's being controlled from the other side, most likely by an off-camera crew member.
