Continuity mistake: When John is threatening to kill himself, his finger alternates from being on the trigger of the handgun to being on the trigger guard from shot to shot. (01:04:55)

Continuity mistake: When John talks to Catherine while sitting at the table in a moving RV, watch the explosives he is working on. Position of the charges changes with every shot facing Catherine. At one point they completely disappear from the table leaving only the Glock 18 handgun, and just a second later the table shown full of explosives again. (01:09:55)

Other mistake: When Kate is viewing the T-X on the security cameras, the two views of the corridor do not match each other. For example, the first camera shows glass walls, whereas the second shows wall panels. (00:23:30)

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of Columbia's solo in "The Time Warp" she is sitting on the jukebox and wearing her gold glitter hat. Then, during the refrain, we see the hat on the floor near the jukebox, sans Columbia. Immediately after the refrain, Columbia has her hat back on as she does her tap dance. [There's about 9 seconds that Columbia's off-screen that she could have retrieved it, and about 4 seconds Magenta and Riff Raff are off-screen and end up next to Columbia and could have picked it up and given it to her, but there's no reason for it to have been out in the middle of the floor to begin with.] (00:22:10)

Continuity mistake: During Danilov's escape sequence, there is a rollover of a vehicle. While the vehicle's wheels are still turning, the tyre tread is of a modern all-season radial. When you see the vehicle again, it is a tyre more fitting for the time period. (00:14:55)

Continuity mistake: During the song "Dammit Janet", as Brad presents the ring to Janet, her purse is behind her at the top of the church steps. A few seconds later, the purse has moved to the left of her feet. (00:08:40)

Continuity mistake: When Jude Law and Joseph Fiennes are walking through the Soviet Headquarters and talking about how the sniper never relocates, in the first scenes, Jude Law has no bandage on his wound on his head, however in the later close up shot there is a bandage, this within a few minutes. There definitely is no bandage present in the first scenes. (00:45:20)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Brad and Janet first talk with Frank in the lab (before Frank's speech beginning with 'Tonight, my unconventional conventionalists...'), Frank makes a comment about how Brad is "so dominant." At that moment, Brad closes his robe but does not button it. However, when the camera switches angles, it is buttoned. (00:31:33)

Continuity mistake: When Brad draws the heart on the church door in the close-up, it's a different shape in the following wide shot. (00:08:25)

Continuity mistake: When Brad and Janet first enter Frank-N-Furter's laboratory, Janet's shirt is buttoned when she is hanging on Brad. When she twirls around to stand on his other side, her shirt opens during the turn, but as soon as she stops, it is buttoned up again. (00:30:35)

Continuity mistake: As Brad and Janet enter the ballroom at the beginning of "The Time Warp", a red carpet runs from the throne at the opposite end of the room, down the steps, and clear across the floor to the ballroom entrance. After the second verse, as Riff Raff and Magenta dance across the floor, the carpet stops short at the bottom of the steps. The full-length carpet reappears and disappears several times during this number. (00:21:30 - 00:22:15)

Continuity mistake: When the color machine has been lowered and Frank has finished opening the spigots, there is a shot which shows his reflection in the monitor on the console where Riff Raff is turning the crank. In the reflection his hands are up in the air, waiting for the color machine to be lowered - which, of course, it already has. (00:35:50)

Continuity mistake: During the dinner scene, there's a party hat on the back of Janet's chair. It disappears in one shot. (01:05:35)

Revealing mistake: When Dr. Scott is being pulled through the castle by the Triple Contact Electro-Magnet, you can see the cable and the cut in the carpet, that the cable runs under, pulling his wheelchair at the top of one of the staircases. (01:01:00)

Continuity mistake: During the first verse of Eddie's song, you can see Frank standing in the background (right before Eddie goes over to sing to Rocky). In the next shot it shows Frank leaning against the wall. (00:42:31)

Continuity mistake: When Danilov first shows Vassili the leaflets that praise his exploits, the shot shows a leaflet coming off the printing press with four "x-ed out helmets", indicating how many German soldiers Vassili has killed. The camera follows the leaflet off the press, Danilov picks up the leaflet and hands it Vassili. The next shot shows Vassili looking at the leaflet, but now there are five x-ed out helmets. Continuity mistake: During "There's a Light" Janet's sweater changes colour. First it's white, then blue, then white, then blue, then white. In the car, it's white, once they get out of the car, it's definitely pale blue from all camera angles and gets slightly darker as it gets wetter, then there's a 7 second shot where it's definitely white, then there's another two shots where it's blue, then they reach the door and it's white for the remainder of the time it's in the movie. It's been suggested that there's colored lighting, but nothing else picks up nearly that amount of blue, i.e. her pink shirt isn't lavender, its white buttons aren't blue, their teeth aren't greenish, etc. (00:13:55 - 00:17:15)

Continuity mistake: When Janet is fainting after Frank comes down the elevator, she is lifting up one hand. In the close-up it's the other hand. (00:24:25)

Continuity mistake: In the beginning, when the political officer is crouching behind the wall, the bolt on his rifle is open, but when he leans up to fire, the bolt is magically closed. (00:16:45)

Continuity mistake: Near the beginning of the movie, in the "wedding scene," when we first see the little camera man his camera has an old fashioned flash (a round metal dish with a flashbulb inside). When he takes the wedding photo, the camera has a modern electronic flash on it. (00:05:00)

Continuity mistake: While riding his motorcycle around the lab during the "Hot Patootie" number, notice how Eddie's black eye and cut changes sides in two of the flipped close-ups. (00:44:30)

The gentleman telling him this clasps his hands together to show unity. Continuity mistake: In the scene where the three Confederate soldiers are about to be executed for desertion, a blindfold is placed around the deserter on the right. It is a narrow strip of cloth covering his eyes. The camera pans to the firing squad and then back to the three men. The blindfold on the deserter on the right, is now much wider.

Factual error: Throughout most of the movie, Lee and Jackson are riding the wrong horses. Traveller was a dapple grey horse with dark grey mane and tail, and Little Sorrel was a dark rust-colored horse with a white star on his face. In the movie, Lee is shown riding a white horse with white mane and tail. At the beginning of the movie, Jackson's horse is correctly depicted as a sorrel with a white star. Then Jackson's horse is switched to a red chestnut with white blaze and four white socks.

Revealing mistake: When the Blob is eating Paul at the doctors office, his right arm is the only part not covered. It's very obvious that it's in a fixed plastic sleeve surrounded by the Blob's ooze.

In some shots later in the scene when the T-1000 is chasing them down the corridor you can see the bits of glass that were left over from before have disappeared. (01:01:05)

Revealing mistake: After the Terminator uses John Connor's switchblade to remove the skin on his forearm, the wires controlling the Terminator's prosthetic arm are visible underneath his shirt, at the top right of his torso. (01:37:00)

Continuity mistake: When the Terminator is riding the Harley chasing Young John Conner, John is down in the reservoir and the Terminator is up on the ledge, as he approaches the end of the wall, through the Terminator's point of view on the bike you see the wall end, it clearly extends to a point, on the very next scene as he makes the jump the point has all of a sudden gone from a point to a squared off edge. Obviously the jump would have been a disaster if the edge was pointed. (00:35:30)

Revealing mistake: When the T-800 and T-1000 first begin to fight in the steel mill, the T-800 puts his fist through the T-1000's head causing him to revert to liquid metal form, then as the T-1000 is throwing the T-800 from side to side you can obviously tell that the T-1000 is just an actor wearing a highly metallic mylar suit in some shots. Continuity mistake: In the shot of the T-800 lifting John off of his bike, the truck's left headlight is missing, but after that it is there. (00:37:30)

Continuity mistake: When DeVries gets out of the Ferrari covered in blood, Willis is seen pointing a pistol at him. When the police blow up the car, he is using a shotgun. In fact, when they blow up the car, most of the images used are the same shots of them firing at the car before it hit the roadblock, only they're flipped. Willis also appears to switch from a right handed shooting stance with the pistol to a left handed shooting stance with the shotgun. (00:07:45)

Revealing mistake: When the tanker truck (liquid nitrogen) is sliding along the ground the sparks can be seen not to be coming from directly under the tanker but ejecting from small canisters slightly higher up the vehicle. (02:02:55)

Continuity mistake: When the Ferrari boss calls Eddie to help deal with Miller, two guys wearing suits are standing in the sunshine next to a grey car. When Miller refuses to take no for an answer after being thrown out, you can see that the guys are gone and the car is now covered by a shadow. The red Ferrari also now has a longer shadow. Continuity mistake: As the T-800 is weaving around the back of the semi-truck just before the end of the aqueduct chase, there is a panel of some sort dangling around the back along with the licence plate. From the far shots the licence plate is gone, and the panel is bolted on on. This changes about two times. (00:37:20)

Continuity mistake: When Miller is eying up the red Ferrari and he opens the door, two mechanics wearing green overalls appear behind him that weren't there in the previous shot, and you can see that the car they are looking at is now covered by a shadow. (00:25:35)

Revealing mistake: Toward the end of the aqueduct chase, the T-800 pulls John off the bike and it is crushed by the semi. The camera jerks upward as John is pulled off, and you see that Robert Patrick has been replaced by a stunt double who looks nothing like him. (00:37:35)

Continuity mistake: In the car chase just before the final encounter in the foundry, the T-800 slams on the SWAT van's brakes and the helicopter slams into it, crushing the choppers front. A second later it is in reasonably good shape. (02:04:00)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where the Terminator is nude in the biker bar, one biker stabs him. The Terminator then grabs the knife with his left hand and twists the biker's arm. Then the Terminator uses his right hand to hold the biker's arm down on the pool table while still holding on to the knife with his left. Immediately in the next shot, the Terminator right arm is in the air with the knife in his right hand and stabs the biker. (00:08:05)

Continuity mistake: When the SWAT van crashes through Cyberdyne's front doors into the lobby, it comes to rest with the rear doors closed. When Sarah and John Connor enter it, it's in a different position and the rear doors are fully open. (02:00:35)

Continuity mistake: When the T-1000 is chasing John in the black tow truck, after the truck goes off the bridge you can see that the truck has two tall exhaust pipes behind the cab. Continuity mistake: When Miller kills the record store owner with a baton, he's seen with his head about a foot away from the left record racks. When Beck finds him, however, he's lying at a totally different position and angle. (00:15:30)

Continuity mistake: When Greta is packing her belongings away in a box, objects like rubber bands keep appearing in front of it, without her putting them there. The angle of the box changes as well. (00:44:15)

These 'secret doors' come in handy during episode 4, allowing seven people to come out of the police box in the final confrontation with Omega. Revealing mistake: When the Doctor and Jo see Bessie in the middle of the rocky area, there is the white chalky substance from the ground on her wheels, indicating she was driven to the spot rather than being "transported" to the black-hole.

Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the first scene of the duel between Vader and Obi-Wan, their lightsabres are held in different angels between several shots.

The Three Doctors - S10-E1

Plot hole: After UNIT HQ disappears, you can see a patch of grass where the UNIT HQ used to be...but just exactly how can grass grow underneath a building?

Plot hole: Richard eventually manages to travel back in time by removing all the modern items from his room. But what about the spotlights above his bed? (00:31:40)

The Three Doctors - S10-E1

Plot hole: The Brigadier says UNIT HQ is 'a Top Secret establishment'. It is, in fact, so secret that it has a large sign outside informing the world not only of its function, but also the name of the commanding officer.

Factual error: In scenes that take place in 1912 on the porch of the hotel you can sometimes see American flags in the background. The flags in the movie have 50 stars. The 50 star flag wasn't adopted until after 1959. (01:25:15)

Factual error: When Richard Collier encounters the young Arthur in 1912, Arthur is playing with an inflatable rubber ball. Balls of this style were not made until the 1960s.

Continuity mistake: When Luke sees Red Leader hit the Death Star surface, an explosion appears out of nowhere and the X-Wing is not seen at all. Furthermore, the plummeting ship would have spread debris over a much wider area considering it was falling at such a shallow angle. (01:48:30)

Other mistake: When Han Solo, Luke, Obi Wan, C3PO and R2-D2 are on their way to the Millennium Falcon for the first time there is a scene where they have to walk down a few stairs. If you look carefully you can see that R2-D2 is struggling to get down the stairs but in the next shot he's down with the others.

Continuity mistake: When Luke sees the holograph of Princess Leia for the first time, and says, "Who is she, she's beautiful," Mark Hamill's hair is rather tousled. In the next shot of him, it's neatly combed. Then, when he gets up and says, "Well I don't know anyone named Obi-Wan...," his hair is tousled again!

Continuity mistake: When Luke and R2 are doing the trench run, a tie shoots at Luke and blows the top of R2's head off. But in the next scene R2's top is on again.

Continuity mistake: When R2D2 is captured by the Jawas, a Jawa welds a restraining bolt to the middle of a panel on R2. When the shot changes to a close up, it's being attached to the top of the panel. The shot changes again, and it's welded to the middle again.

Other mistake: After the escape from the Death Star, the first TIE apparently blows up, but behind the explosion we can see it still intact.

Continuity mistake: When Luke and his uncle buy C3-P0 and a white-and-red R5-D4 robot from the Jawas, the R5 unit blows up after travelling a few feet. There's a quick shot of R2-D2 back at the Jawa's transport, and behind R2 you can see the same white-and-red R5-D4 unit being worked on by the Jawas. In the next shot it is back over with Luke. Revealing mistake: Special Edition Only: In one of the new Mos Eisley scenes, the speeder goes down a road with two Stormtroopers on each side. The troopers are just mirror images of the ones on the other side of the street. Their movements are exactly the same.

Continuity mistake: When R2D2 has finished showing Leia's holo-message to Luke, C3P0 says something like "he has become a bit eccentric." When he says that, there is a wire coming from his belly. It was not there before or after.

Continuity mistake: During the conference in the Death Star, the back of Tarkin's chair is higher in the wideshots than in the close-ups.

Revealing mistake: In the trash compactor, after C-3PO realises that he turned off the comlink, Leia grabs the bar used to stop the compactor and her hand sinks in and puts a dent in the bar. When she loosens her grip, it returns to normal. No wonder it was useless at bracing the walls...

Continuity mistake: The dead bodies of the SWAT team move around on the escalator between shots. The best example of this is after the last SWAT guy dies, there is a body or two near the end of the escalator. They disappear or at least move much further away after McClane drops his gun on the escalator. And all this happens while the escalator is not moving. (00:45:15 - 00:48:00)

Continuity mistake: When R2 and 3PO are walking in the desert look at the sun's reflection on C-3PO's head throughout the shots. It keeps changing places.

Continuity mistake: When Luke and Obi-Wan enter Docking Bay 94 in Mos Eisley, as the first shot ends, C-3PO is turned to his left and is standing right behind Obi-Wan on Obi-Wan's left. In the next shot, Threepio is turned to his right, and is standing further away from Obi-Wan, behind him on Obi-Wan's right. (00:52:25)

Continuity mistake: During the binary sunset, the two suns are closer together in the close-up than in the wide shot. There is also a cloud and a mountain in front of the lower of the suns, which weren't there in the wide shot.

Trivia: When they power-up the Death Star, the control panel is a Grass Valley switcher, production equipment which is still prevalent in television stations everywhere.

Continuity mistake: Just after the scene where R2-D2 is riding shotgun on Luke's X-Wing fighter and is hit by a shot from Darth Vader, there's a shot of C3-PO standing beside Leia in the rebel HQ, and the dent on C3-PO's head is on the right side (it's on the left side throughout the rest of the movie). Continuity mistake: In the scene where Alderaan is destroyed, the "buns" on each side of Leia's head are positioned higher up than in the previous scene she was, so that her earlobes are visible. When Luke and Han rescue her, her hair is back to normal. She's held prisoner in a cell, so it's not likely that she could or would have changed her hairstyle.

Revealing mistake: After Han Solo runs into the room full of stormtroopers, you can see rubber soles under Chewbacca's feet as he follows him. (01:24:15)

Continuity mistake: Special Edition: When Han is talking to Jabba the Hutt, when Jabba begins to says, "What if everyone who smuggled for me dropped their cargo at the first sign of an Imperial starship?", Chewbacca can be seen walking behind them. In the next shot, he is suddenly walking next to a wall that was nowhere near him in the previous shot. In the following shot, he is back to his original position. (00:51:00)

Continuity mistake: Watch Luke's shadow when he walks toward his aunt to talk to her, and when he turns around. In the following shot, where he is walking toward the Jawa sandcrawler, his shadow is cast in another direction.

Other mistake: When the platform falls on top of McClane and he drops his gun, I don't see how it would land more than six feet away from him. One foot at the most. Unless of course it was made of rubber. (00:47:05)

Continuity mistake: As R2-D2 is rolling through the canyon, he's on a smooth part of the land. He then stops and looks around. When he starts moving again, the terrain has changed and is now full of rocks and pebbles. (00:11:20)
