The song was used as a dance number in the film).

Trivia: A popular film poster shows Emily and Victor reaching their hands toward one another. Emily's bony hand is on her right and Victor's suit and vest are backwards (note its buttons). Some say it was for legal reasons - Johnny Depp's name was supposed to appear on the poster first because of a contract, and they wanted the characters underneath the corresponding star names, hence the issue. Others say it was simply because the picture looked better with the bride on the right side.

Trivia: There are many clues in this film that foreshadow the revealing of Christian's sexuality. but there is one that less blatant than the others. When Christian is shown entering the classroom, Cher has higher hopes for finding a great guy for herself. However, if you look over his shoulder as the camera pans over to him, you can see a headline cut out of a newspaper. It reads "On The Road To Nowhere", depicting Cher later finding out that she is barking up the wrong tree.

Trivia: Another time you can see Gene Wilder laughing when he's not supposed to be is after he finds out the project failed (the quiet, dignity, and grace speech). He starts strangling the monster, and you can see that he is stifling laughter. Finally, he can't hold it in any longer and proceeds to partially hide his face behind the monster lying on the table in an attempt to cover up his smirks (but you can still see that he is laughing).

During this shot, there is nothing on her face. The next shot is very brief, showing a surprised look on the others faces. In the very next shot, a huge bug is suddenly crawling on LaWanda's cheek. There was no way this bug could crawl out of her mouth and onto her cheek in the time allotted, let alone without her noticing.

Also, as the animation goes on you see Riz turning sideways but the reflection in the mirror does not match. She is sideways while her boobs in the reflection are facing the other direction. Then when she puts the black blouse on her back is to the mirror but we see her front in the mirror.

Another mistake occurs when it cuts to the fairy godmother (after the freeze frame), because her arms are suddenly down and she is moving and talking to Cinderella.

When she says "for", her mouth doesn't move correctly.her mouth is supposed to close in order to say the beginning "f" part, but it remains open, so it looks like she's actually saying "hor" instead of "for".

Continuity mistake: In the beginning, an overview shot of the playground and the Jets is shown, the movie then cuts to a closeup of Tony snapping his fingers. In the closeup, there is a boy riding his bike past Tony that was no where to be seen in the previous shot from above.

Audio problem: At one point near the end of the movie, you can hear Tzeitel's baby crying. Watch closely, and you'll see that the baby's mouth is not moving. It's even closed at times.

Revealing mistake: When Lena enters, interrupting Blousey's audition, watch her closely. As she's doing her long and complex "Ill give you one more chance and them I'm out for good out out out" bit, she looks at the camera not just once, but quite a few times.

Audio problem: In the scene where Selena opens her boutique, she introduces Yolanda Saldivar. The camera zooms in on Yolanda, but you can still see that Selena's mouth doesn't move when she says, "She's my fan club president."

Visible crew/equipment: When Sarah and Sky are talking in the mission, Sarah, is trying to get him to leave and he insists he needs private lessons from her. Sarah says something along the lines of, "Well, our doors are always open, come back anytime." On this line, she crosses to the front door, opens it, and the viewer is treated to a full view of the Havana set, complete with the word "Havana" written on it.

Continuity mistake: The first time we see Adelaide sneeze in the movie (at Mindy's), she says a line to Nathan, holds her empty hand up to her nose, and sneezes. In the next shot (the camera is at a different angle), her hand is suddenly dabbing her nose with a handkerchief.

Audio problem: If you listen carefully during the conversation between Marian and Ameryllis before "Goodnight, My Someone," you may notice something quite strange. After she is comforted by Marian, Ameryllis asks her, "If A GIRL doesn't have a sweetheart, who's HE going to say goodnight to on the evening star?"

Continuity mistake: When Clifford (Martin Short) and Uncle Martin are talking about Clifford's prank at the gas station, the entire thing is being recorded by a taping device in the room. Uncle Martin says. "I'm gonna punish you, and that means Dinosaur World is out." And Clifford responds with, "I don't understand." However, when Clifford later comes up with an idea to use the tape recording in another one of his schemes, we again hear Uncle Martin say ".punish you, and that means Dinosaur World is out." BUT we hear Clifford respond with "That would be a mistake." Judging that this is a recording of the previous conversation, I don't see why Clifford should be saying something completely different than what he was saying before.

Audio problem: During the song "The Lonely Goatherd," Maria sings, "Men drinking beer with the foam afloat," Marta blows foam from the cups into Maria's face, and she coughs. You can see that Julie Andrews' mouth is not at all in sync with the coughing on the recording.
