Continuity mistake: At the beginning when they show Meehan explaining that they're not going to jump because of fog, he is using his hands to emphasize the point, when they go back to the same point near the end of the episode, Meehan has his hands behind his back. (00:04:45 - 00:57:20)

Trivia: At the very beginning of the Honeymoon montage, we see Shrek looking directly into the camera and moving it around to get a good shot of him and Fiona in front of the house. The is exactly the same as the opening credits for the late 1980s TV program "The Wonder Years" (1987).

Continuity mistake: When we first see the sign outside the Quahog institute of performing arts, it has a cartoon take on the comedy and tragedy masks in the corners. In the left hand corner is a black mask with big ears and a smile and on the right is a white mask with a frown. Later on, the black mask has the frown and the white mask has the big ears and smile and the 3rd time you see the sign it has changed back again.

Trivia: When Buffy asks Spike to stay he agrees and says 'the infernal torture device, the comfy chair'. This is a reference to one of the Monty Python 'Spanish Inquisition' sketches.

Trivia: When everyone is marching on Washington near the end, have a look at Emmet. According to the DVD commentary, the filmmakers forgot that he had to be part of the march, so they had to add him digitally in post production.

Continuity mistake: In the scene just before Anna goes into the bookshop with the painting there is an outside shot of the building. In front of the school you can see the woman kneeling down in front of a child but also if you look through the window and door of the shop you can see Will walking in wearing a blue shirt. In the very next scene he is sitting at his desk wearing a pink shirt. (01:39:15)

Question: This film was called California man in the UK, I'm guessing the reason it was changed was because the UK wouldn't know what Encino man meant, which (in my case) is true. What does Encino man mean?

Continuity mistake: When Lisa first discovers Jebadiah's confession, she is holding the fyffe and wearing his racoon hat, the screen fades to black (I'm guessing for the ad break) but when it comes back Lisa is standing in exactly the same position, still reading the confession, still holding the fyffe, but no longer wearing the hat.

Continuity mistake: In Stewie's first acting class, the chairs all the children are sitting on are blue but after Stewie has done his scene and he is talking to Olivia about her comment, the chairs are orange. (00:06:20 - 00:08:20)

Other mistake: Evie explains that if Imotep was resurrected he'd bring with him the ten plagues of Egypt. This is followed by (in no particular order) a plague of Locusts, Flies, Water running to blood, the sun being eclipsed and a plague of boils. At the plague of boils Jonathan says 'last but not least, my favourite plague - boils and sores'. How does he know this is the last plague? Aren't there supposed to be 5 more? (01:23:10)

Continuity mistake: In The One Where Ross Finds Out he's having a boy (series 1), just before Rachel lets it slip, she is sitting on the edge of a chair eating a cookie. Trivia: The scene where Imhotep is resurrecting the Scorpion King, he is hitting a big gong. A bald guy, in a loin cloth, hitting a big gong...this is a nod to the opening title of any 'Rank' picture.

Trivia: In the scene where Evie wakes up to find a rat on her chest she screams and rolls over and the rat then lands on the female mummy. According to the commentary on the DVD the rat wasn't meant to land on the girl playing the mummy, who was only the make-up lady. As soon as it landed on her she jumped up screaming.

Trivia: Near the beginning of the film when Rick gets hanged, the wide shots used are of his stunt double, but in the close up shots it really is Brendan Fraser. Watch his eyes in the final close up before he gets cut down, they are nearly rolled right back in his head. This is because he really was asphyxiating and collapsed after that scene was shot. Rachel Weisz stated that 'he stopped breathing and had to be resuscitated'.

Trivia: When Saul (posing as Mr. Zerga) collects his briefcase/package one of the "bodyguards" says "ya vas lublu." This is also said in "The Great Escape" (1963) as the only piece of Russian that Danny (Charles Bronson) knows, he translates it as meaning "I love you."

Trivia: Just before the credits roll there is a brief flash of the ghost faced killer, this was a clue that there was going to be a sequel. The same thing occurs just before the credits of Scream 2 but it doesn't occur in Scream 3.

Trivia: In the episode 'The Replacement' Buffy asks what they're going to do with the 2 Xanders who then say 'Kill us both Spock'. This is a reference to an episode of Star Trek where Kirk ended up with an evil twin and Spock didn't know which one to kill, the real Kirk told Spock to kill them both so Spock killed the other one.

Trivia: In the episode 'The Replacement' when Xander is trying to convince Willow that he is the real Xander, he does the Snoopy dance for her. Nicholas Brendon didn't know what the snoopy dance looked like and just attempted it after a brief description. He is now frequently asked to perform it at any fan conventions he attends.

Trivia: In the scene preceding the credits for the first episode of season 2 'When She Was Bad,' Buffy saves Xander and Willow from a vampire, she then says 'Hi guys, miss me?' This is addressed to Xander and Willow but is said straight into the camera and is also addressed to the fans who had waited a long time between the 1st season and the 2nd.

Trivia: In the final episode of the first series, when Nina is erasing information from the computer, all the pictures you can see on the screen are of the cast and crew. One of these pictures features Kiefer Sutherland kissing a small cuddly toy.

Trivia: When the Dr is describing about the V chip there is a man in the front row who looks like Terry Jones when he was in the 'Nudge, Nudge, Wink, Wink' Monty Python sketch. That sketch also starred Eric Idle who provided the voice of the Doctor.

Continuity mistake: In the long shot Stan is at the top of the steps singing 'there's a bunch' and you see him wobble down the steps, it then cuts to a close up and Stan is back at the top of the steps singing 'of birds in the sky' as he wobbles down the steps again. (00:00:30)

The stoned guy with the brownies is Jessie who only appears in the first 2 episodes before getting turned into a vampire and getting killed by Xander. There is a girl who is staring at a banana - this is Amber Benson who played Willow's girlfriend Tara and finally and most obviously Seth Green who plays Kenny went on to play Willow's boyfriend Oz. Continuity mistake: In the one with Phoebe's rat babies, it is very obvious that the box has nothing in it. Also when she is in her apartment explaining about giving up the triplets she had for her brother she puts the box down on the table, yet when it cuts to Mike's face and Phoebe's realisation that she hadn't told him that before, the box is back on her lap. Trivia: In the final episode when Buffy, Xander, and Willow are wandering off talking about shopping, Giles turns round and says "The Earth is definitely doomed!" This is a little tribute to the end of the episode 'The Harvest' when Buffy, Xander and Willow wander off talking nonsense and Giles turns round and says a similar thing.

Continuity mistake: In the very beginning, when the Narrator is singing the very first song she starts to move around the lecturn she is leaning on, it then cuts to another camera and she is behind the lecturn again and starts to move away from it again.

The One With The Red Sweater - S8-E2

Plot hole: They say that whoever the sweater belongs to left it behind, but in The One Where Rachel Finds Out that Ross videotaped them together it is clear that Ross is not wearing anything under the sweater, therefore for Ross to have left it behind he must have gone home topless.

Continuity mistake: Tom is changing the fascia of his mobile phone. When we first see him, he is holding the phone up to his shirt and the fascia is blue, he then puts the phone down near to Bridget. It then cuts back to Tom and the phone has moved nearer to Jude and the fascia is green. Tom then opens the box in front of him and hold the blue fascia up so it falls out of the plastic wrapping completely, just before a man comes up to ask him if 'he's the bloke who sang that song' he is getting the blue fascia out of the plastic wrapping again.
