General questions

I remember seeing a film where a girl goes into a supermarket/mini mart type place, and as she is walking around she sees somebody she was abused by (I think) and then something happens and she looks in a freezer and sees it filling with blood and she slips on the blood. I was sure it was in Girl, Interrupted, but I recently watched this film and the scene is not in there, is it another film, or is it possible that scene was removed from my DVD version?

Chosen answer: This was in Girl Interrupted, one of the deleted scenes on the DVD. If you check in deleted scenes, it should be there.

General questions

I remember watching a couple of tv shows at school in the early 90's. The first was about a bird, I think it was a Kite, and a bloke was after it because he collected bird eggs etc, and a couple of young kids were trying to stop him. In one episode they found loads of eggs and stuffed birds in the back of his shop I think. The second was about some sort of alien, and I think he came out of the sea or lived by the sea or something. There was a computer involved somehow, again with a couple of young kids.

Chosen answer: It sounds a lot like you're talking about an old staple of school programming called. "Look and Read". The first story is Skyhunter and the bird in question was a peregrine falcon. I can't recall the second one, but the first is definitely Skyhunter.

Blue Phoenix

Answer: Regarding the second answer, when you say alien, the beach, and two kids, it reminds me of a Saturday morning kids' show titled Sigmund and the Sea Monsters. It was a live-action comedy about a little Sea Monster who's ostracized by his family for not scaring humans. He tries to scare two little boys, but instead, they become friends and take him home with them.
