Corrected entry: At the start when the explosion goes off, supposedly killing Dennis Hopper, you can see that the explosion actually forms a shape around the door frame and that the wall blows inwards. This is because of the individual charges placed around the door to make this effect work, in fact you can see the holes that they cause. In an explosion such as this, probably the first thing to happen would be for the door itself (the weakest point in the wall) to be blown off rather than the wall coming away with the door in it.

Dad's Army (1971)
Corrected entry: When Arthur Lowe, John Le Mesurier and Clive Dunn are walking across the street at the beginning of the movie, you can see the "Cats Eyes" in the centre of the road between each white line. These were not invented during World War 2.
Correction: "Cats Eyes" were invented in 1933 by Percy Shaw. In 1935, he opened a factory to manufacture them and a year later, the first 50 were laid in Bradford. They became popular throughout Britain in World War II. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cat's_eye_(road).

ER (1994)
Corrected entry: Abby diagnosis a 'piece of metal in his spleen' when treating Susan's husband who has just collapsed. She puts the ultrasound machine beside his right hip when the spleen is located behind the last rib on the left. Also metal would not show up on ultrasound.
Correction: Actually, since ultrasound scans are based upon the principle that high frequency soundwaves are reflected, metal shows up very well on an ultrasound. It would appear as bright white since it is dense and would reflect soundwaves very efficiently. Also, they can still use the machine even in that position.

The Matrix (1999)
Corrected entry: When Morpheus is explaining about the past, it shows the wrecked city with the Twin Towers still standing.
Correction: Well, it would have been rather surprising (and disturbing) if the makers of The Matrix could predict a terrorist attack two years in the future and directed the film accordingly.

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)
Corrected entry: When the credits roll at the end, check out a Thuggee Guard named Pat Roach. He also played a Mechanic in 'Raiders Of The Lost Ark' and the character 'Gestapo' in The Last Crusade. Shouldn't they get different actors/extras to play these parts in case someone notices? I sure did.
Correction: If you watch the DVD extras, Spielberg mentions that it was a running joke throughout the three films to have Pat Roach playing a baddie. As well as playing the mechanic in Raiders, he also played one of the Sherpas in Marion's bar.

Correction: You have to remember that this explosion was set up by Howard Payne to make it look like he died. He may have deliberately rigged the charges around the door to make it look like a bigger explosion than it actually was.

It's more likely that the OP is correct, and this is a blooper/mistake.
