Continuity mistake: Throughout the movie, the characters' thoughts are in the voice of whoever's "soul" it is. However, in the scene where Annabelle (in Ellen's body) is having issues with the washing machine, she thinks "whoa there, you just have a little case of the hiccups" and the voice is Ellen's.

Manhunt - S2-E1

Factual error: When Veronica has a conversation with Stedman, he tells her that he can't escape and that the glass is 2 inches thick. However, if the glass in the door was 2 inches thick, the wood door would have to be 5-6 inches thick to even support such thick glass. The door would be extremely heavy. And it obviously went unnoticed by Veronica as she entered the home with no effort.

Plot hole: At end of the film, when Luke runs into Matthew, Luke is already aware that Lisa intends to meet Matthew at 3pm. Yet Luke deliberately delays him by inviting him into that restaurant where they sit and order drinks. I find it very hard to believe that Luke (knowing what time it is) would even do such a thing knowing how important finding Lisa is to his friend. This also "forces" Alex's whole agenda to be revealed. This also makes him late to meet Lisa, "forcing" the whole fiance breakup scene at the airport. It would have been more plausible for Luke to tell an anxious Matthew immediately upon seeing him that the love of his life was waiting at the secret place.

Plot hole: It's hard to believe that no one except Alex has a cell. These are fairly successful people, especially a traveling Matthew. No one having cell phones is highly unlikely.

Character mistake: When Munch and Finn visit victim's apartment, Munch states that the glass in the broken window is tempered, The glass is not tempered but more likely laminated wire glass; due to he fact that the glass is still intact and the child had to use wire cutters to get out.

Factual error: At the end of the film the apes/monkeys are seen jumping clean through the EXTERIOR windows of a downtown high-rise. I know apes/monkeys are a bit stronger than humans, but this is still is highly unlikely and would not happen so easily. The exterior windows (those from floor to ceiling, or those that replace traditional exterior walls) would be triple plated, like that of a bank partition (think of 3 car windshields glued together) One would have to repeatedly bang on it with a sledgehammer before it would even crack, let along jump clean through. However, jumping through the INTERIOR windows and doors are completely realistic since those would only be double plated.

Continuity mistake: In the 2nd meeting between Emily and James, she brings him supplies. Emily is seen twisting at the cap on the bottled water before handing it to James. However, when she hands it to him, the cap is visibly still on the bottle. James is then seen removing the cap himself. He sets the cap on the table, takes a drink, then puts the bottle on the table. The next shot shows Emily with her hands in her lap then reaching for the bottle and putting the cap back on as if the cap was already in her hand. She never removed he cap. The cap would still be on the table where James put it. There is no way she could have retrieved that cap off the table without coming into camera view.

Question: What was the deal with the mirrors? Are there spirits in the mirrors? Or can Violet (or whoever's body happens to be inhabited) see her "true self" in the mirror? When Caroline first spends the night, a figure, like Mama Cecile, can be seen in her little mirror. If the spirit is in the body (Violet's), why would it be wandering around? So, the mirrors expose their true identity, correct?

Factual error: In the beginning of the movie, Dr. Bob Moore falls through the glass doors of his office and is impaled with the glass. This would never have happened. It is federal law that safety glass is used in all entry doors. The glass would have to have been made of tempered glass, which breaks into tiny pieces like a car window, or laminated glass which will crack and bend but stay intact like a car windshield, or of wire glass, which will act similar to laminated glass. None of these was used. A plain standard plate glass was used instead.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Leslie dumps ice on Scott, the sheets change position between shots. When Leslie first walks into the room, Scott is lying on his back but slightly on his side with the sheets somewhat messy. The next shot, right before she throws the ice, Scott is now lying perfectly on his back with the sheets perfectly folded beneath his arms. Then, after she throws the ice the second time, Scott is soaked in water along with the sheets. The next shot shows Scott and the sheets dry as a bone.

Plot hole: When Morgan first meets Scott, she pretends to have been called in to a place where she volunteers. With Scott always wanting to volunteer but never having time, you would think that he would taken an interest in her volunteer work, and would soon find out she was a liar.

Trivia: In the final scene, Steven Baldwin teases Lawrence Fishburne, referencing the infamous limousine scene with Ike and the boot in the movie "What's Love Got To Do With It?" Lawrence Fishburne also plays the character Ike in "What's Love Got To Do With It?"

Plot hole: Blackbird and Ritchie fake their deaths in order to lure Wayne and Carmen out of hiding. What was the point of pursuing Wayne and Carmen? The only reason they wanted the couple dead was to prevent them from testifying. The problem is .if Blackbird and Ritchie were "dead", the case would be CLOSED. Carmen and Wayne wouldn't be testifying anyway. So why go to the trouble of killing them? It makes no sense.

Factual error: The scene where Princess and Steven are in Chrome Skull's truck, they are trying to dial 911. They are denied access because the phone is password protected. This would never happen. Even though there is a lock on the phone, it would be automatically deactivated for 911 calls. When you lock your cell phone to protect it from unwanted usage, the phone will deny all usage EXCEPT 911 calls.

Factual error: The scene where Pierson Bartlett is on the stand, he pulls a spoon out of his jacket. This would never be allowed. He wouldn't get through the metal detector with any metal that could be used as a weapon. He would either have to take it back to his car, or leave it at the security desk.

Plot hole: In the middle of the film, after the custody hearing, Frank shows up at an event. Danny pretends that Frank dropped his wallet in order to have a brief conversation with his dad. Later, Rick confronts him about what they talked about. What does Rick expect? It's not like Danny will never be allowed to visit his father again. They are going to talk at some point. For Vince to expect that he will never talk to his father again is unrealistic.

Plot hole: After the boathouse incident, Frank tries to call and warn his family about Rick. Rick sees Frank's name on the caller ID, indicating his attempt on Frank's life was unsuccessful. Rick then goes into the garage and pulls Susan from the car, stating he just wants to keep Danny as collateral until he is safely out of town. Danny manages to escape. Rick chases the boy. Why? What's the point? All Rick had to do was get in the car and leave. Besides, one would think, taking Danny hostage would only make Frank and the police pursue him more.

Continuity mistake: When Mary first arrives at the hospital protest, she is being escorted through the metal detector by Hartman. Mary is wearing a tie-dye shirt with one blue shoulder and one red shoulder. As she passes through the detector, her ribbon is pinned on her red shoulder. The camera shoots to Hartman, then back to Mary, exposing her red shoulder without the ribbon. The camera shoots back to Hartman, then the next shot shows Mary removing the ribbon from her red shoulder and placing it into the bin so she can pass through the detector successfully. I understand how a person can sometimes confuse right from left depending on the angle of the camera. This time, one shoulder is red and one is blue, there's no confusion.

Continuity mistake: The scene where Mary, Howard and Elizabeth are running to the tunnel to escape the tornado, Mary has her umbrella open. The next shot shows Elizabeth going into the tunnel with Mary right behind. Mary's umbrella is still open. The next shot shows Mary half way down the tunnel with her umbrella closed. There is no way she could have closed that umbrella in that wind and got that far down the tunnel that fast.

Plot hole: There is a scene when Terrence tricks Big Fate into touching his "lucky pipe". Terrence then plants it at the murder scene in order to rightfully implicate Big Fate in the murders. Terrence then goes to the police station and tells Beniot about his strange feeling that the perpetrator smoked crack while committing the murders, and suggests Beniot comb the scene again. Terrence's fingerprints were all over the pipe as well. He couldn't wipe his fingerprints off without wiping Big Fate's off as well. Since it is a requirement that all police officers have their prints on file and since Terrence isn't the officer to locate the "evidence", how can he explain his fingerprints being all over the pipe? After all that has happened, I would think he would have implicated himself.

Other mistake: When Blake makes the tape of Styles and the prostitute, and uses it to discredit him, I doubt that Blake and his buddy had access to top notch equipment. Surely, experienced Los Angeles detectives would have a great technician on board who would be able to testify that the tape was fixed or modified, such as Styles's mouth movement.

Factual error: When Marlene goes to the greenhouse and is killed by the falling glass, this would never have happened. It is a federal law that all greenhouses, skylights, and entry-ways are to be made of safety glass. The glass would have to have been made of either a Tempered glass, which breaks in a thousand pieces, like a car window, or Laminated glass, which cracks but does not fall apart, like a car windshield. Neither one of these glasses would have killed her. Surely, law abiding citizens like Clare and her Husband would have followed the zoning laws that came along with building their greenhouse.

Factual error: In the beginning of the movie after the 1st murders, when the detective is talking, he states that Grady's/David's car was bought with cash, and the purchase is untraceable because no ID is required, this is not true. A valid picture ID or drivers license is required in order to register the vehicle. Whether it is a fake ID or not, a person has to come up with some sort of ID in order to register a car. Otherwise people would just keep re-registering their vehicles under false names instead of paying parking tickets.
