Angel (1999)

Shiny Happy People - S4-E18

Revealing mistake: When the gang attack the vampires in the bowling alley, watch as Jasmine and Fred walk over the bowling lanes in the background as the others fight the vampires. Jasmine slips on the floor but manages to maintain her balance. You'd think a deity with superhuman strength, telepathy, shape-shifting and psychic capabilities would be able to walk on a smooth floor without slipping and also know that it was smooth to begin with. Although she may lack friction, the shot should have been re-filmed as it is a blatant mistake.

Dead End - S2-E18

Other mistake: Both times we see Lindsey shaving, once before his hand transplant and once after, his reflection in the bathroom mirror isn't in fact a reflection. He is wearing a bracelet on his left wrist, but in the mirror it is on his right wrist.

Time Bomb - S5-E19

Continuity mistake: In the first scene with Wesley and Gunn, Wesley goes over to a cabinet to fetch a book. On his way back to his desk, the position at which he is holding the book changes instantly as the camera cuts to a different angle.

Power Play - S5-E21

Factual error: Spike suggests that Illyria and Drogyn play Crash Bandicoot. They appear to be playing on an original Xbox console. The episode was broadcast on May 12th 2004, meaning that the only Crash Bandicoot game they could possibly be playing would be The Wrath of Cortex which came out on April 5th 2002 in North America because every other Crash Bandicoot game that came out before that was only on the Sony PlayStation (with the exception of Crash Nitro Cart, but they're not playing that one). Both Illyria and Drogyn appear to be playing the game. However, The Wrath of Cortex was a single-player only game. They're not playing Crash Twinsanity (available for the Xbox) either as that didn't come out in North America until October 1st 2004 and it too was a single-player only game.

Carpe Noctem - S3-E4

Continuity mistake: When the gang rescues Angel and returns him to his normal form towards the end of the episode, Cordelia shocks him unconscious with a taser and he falls to the floor, lying on his front. But when Fred whacks him on the head with her baseball bat, he is suddenly lying on his back.

Players - S4-E16

Audio problem: When Gwen says to Garret, "I know the risk, but I'm going in there with or without your help," her lips keep moving as if she's still speaking.

Dad - S3-E10

Plot hole: When Angel is being pursued by the Lilliad demons, he is holding his son Connor and is talking to him in the car. Later on it is revealed that he is in fact holding a teddy bear with a bomb attached to it. If it wasn't his son, why was he talking to it? It couldn't be to fool the Lilliad demons because they wouldn't be able to hear him, as they were in separate vehicles.

Sleep Tight - S3-E16

Continuity mistake: Right before Holtz and his men arrive at the hotel, Angel arranges three of Connor's toys in his cot. One of them is a teddy bear which he places in the middle of the cot. But once Holtz and his men arrive, the teddy bear is suddenly at the far end of the cot resting on the pillow.
