Question: How come Harry didn't want Buckbeak? I thought he liked Buckbeak?

Answer: He did. But Hagrid loved him more. He was heartbroken when Buckbeak was taken from him in Prisoner Of Azkaban so Harry thought it best for him to go back to Hagrid.

Answer: Harry didn't own Buckbeak or have any decision about what became of him, nor could he have taken care of him. After Sirius Black escaped, he kept Buckbeak hidden at his house, Black Manor. Harry saw Buckbeak when he visited his godfather. If Buckbeak had been returned to Hogwarts, he'd still be executed. Eventually, Buckbeak was secretly reintroduced into the Hogwarts hippogriff herd under the new name of Witherwings.

Hocus Pocus (1993)

Question: Throughout the film, everyone says that Binx was trying to prevent the candle from being lit, so why at the end does he thank Max for lighting it, and explain to Emily that he had to wait for the candle to be lit?

Chosen answer: Binx had accepted his fate of being a cat forever so instead, he decided to stop the candle from being lit. It was only near the end of the film that he saw the death of the witches broke his curse.

Charmed (1998)

Season 6 generally

Question: How does Chris still have his powers when he travels to the past, but the witches did not when they went to the past?

Chosen answer: With Chris being from the future (and being half-witch, half-whitelighter), he must know about the fact that his aunts can't use their powers in the past. Therefore, he would think to write an advanced spell so that his powers can be used.

Answer: It was a different spell, you can see that from episode Chris-crossed, the charmed ones did not drew anything when travelled to their past. It's also explained from the conversation from Phoenix and Chris.

Halloween: Part 1 - S1-E4

Question: One thing I do not understand is this... "if" the souls of the deceased (that die within the walls of "murder house") are trapped there for eternity then how does the maid get to go see her mother (obviously off premises) and Tate get to meet up with Dr. Harmon for coffee for his appointment?

Chosen answer: Because on Halloween, the souls of the dead are said to roam the Earth. That includes those souls that are trapped within the walls of the "Murder House".

Home Alone 3 (1997)

Question: Does this movie bear any relation to the previous 2, beside from being in the same series?

Chosen answer: No, none whatsoever. None of the characters from the previous movies appear or are ever mentioned.

Question: Another entry says "… his name is in the rip portion of the credits." What is the "rip portion of the credits"?

Chosen answer: The closing credits for both Kill Bill moves included a short list of deceased directors, writers and actors, under the title "R.I.P.", meaning "Rest In Peace": Charles Bronson, Chang Cheh, Kinji Fukasaku, Lo Lieh, Shintaro Katsu, William Witney, Sergio Corbucci, Lucio Fulci, Sergio Leone, and Lee Van Cleef.

Scream 4 (2011)

Question: In the final shot, we see Jill's head move a little. Was that suppose to let the viewers know that she's alive or was it just a mistake?

Chosen answer: I personally submitted this as a revealing mistake. There is no official statement from Wes Craven or anyone else involved in the making of the movie about it being deliberate. So in my eyes, it's a mistake.

Question: Who does the voice of Finger? This has been driving me nuts for years.

Chosen answer: General consensus is Bokeem Woodbine (not Vin Diesel as many believe), although there's no official credit.

Question: How old were Hansel and Gretel as kids in the beginning of the movie? How much time passed to when they were adult? And how old were they then?

Quantom X

Chosen answer: Hansel & Gretel's ages are never mentioned in the original fairytale. But Cedric Eich who plays young Hansel is currently 13 (August 10th, 2000). The age of Alea Sophia Boudodimos who plays young Gretel is unknown, but I'd guess that she's a similar age.

Total Recall (2012)

Question: At the end of the movie Colin Farrel checks his arm and sees that the mark they put when he was sitting in the "recall" chair was gone. Does this mean this was all a dream? I mean, the "spy recall" that he wanted?

Chosen answer: The absence of the tattoo on Quaid's arm hints that the whole scenario could have been a memory, brought on by Rekall.

Death Proof (2007)

Question: In the car racing scene between Stuntman Mike, Kim, Zoe, and Abby, I am confused as to why the car chase lasted so long. Couldn't Kim have simply slowed down gradually and shot Stuntman Mike? I mean, we hear her in an earlier scene talking about her gun and we see her shoot him after stopping. Why keep driving fast with your friend in danger and mess up the car that isn't yours?

Chosen answer: Because there wouldn't be a car chase if she stopped. It's all part of the fun.

Question: Plo Koon always has some kind of covering/bandage on the middle finger of each hand. What is the reason behind it?

Chosen answer: Plo Koon has the ability of a forbidden Force technique called Electric Judgment. To many Jedi, this seemed to be too close to the Force lightning used by Sith Lords. He therefore wears talons over his fingertips in order to boost his Force powers.

Death Proof (2007)

Question: When Abby is in the store, Lee calls her. What is Abby's ringtone? It sounds familiar, but I can't place it.

Chosen answer: The tune is called "Twisted Nerve" by Bernard Herrmann. It sounds familiar because in one of Quentin Tarantino's earlier films "Kill Bill", Daryl Hannah's character was whistling it before attempting to murder Uma Thurman's character in her sleep.

Question: Who was the blonde woman who appeared in one of Umbrella's armed aerial transports that was heading for the Arcadia at the very end of the movie?

Question: On the bridge after the crash, they take a man's small pickup truck. What is written on the bumper sticker?

Chosen answer: Praise the Lord.

Chicken Run (2000)

Question: Why didn't Rocky simply tell Ginger at the start that he couldn't fly, instead of dragging everyone through that whole charade. I realise that it was crucial to the plot, but was there any other reason?

Gavin Jackson

Chosen answer: Because he wanted them all to have something to look forward to, he didn't want to let them down. Plus Rocky is very bigheaded, it would no doubt be embarrassing for him to admit that he couldn't fly.
