Continuity mistake: In the famous Nadia on the internet segment, there is a quick shot of the computer before Jim starts to get undressed. If you look on the desk next to the keyboard there is a gray t-shirt. It wasn't there when Jim was setting up the camera and Jim hasn't begun to undress yet. Obviously shot after Jim threw the shirt on the Web cam and it slid off. (00:48:32)

Trivia: I can't take credit of this one - it's on the DVD under Feature Commentary. In the scene when Jim (Jason Biggs) jumps over the hedge and falls, his real mother can be seen walking in the background. (00:46:58)

Continuity mistake: During the lacrosse game towards the end of the movie Oz scores a goal - in one shot it shows the ball coming to rest in front of the goal. In the next shot you can see the ball hitting the net and coming to rest again. (01:03:41)

Trivia: This is a small tidbit, but I thought it was a little bit interesting. When Happy is talking to Gary Potter for the first time there is an older gentlemen standing in the crown behind them that has a portable chair. At one point he drops it and wants to bend down to get it, but he pauses as though the directors might get mad. (00:35:09)

Continuity mistake: Near the start we see Happy dropping off his Grandmother at a rest home. When they arrive Happy is driving on a walkway through the compound. Odd place to be driving don't you think? (00:09:08)

Continuity mistake: During the segment where the V.W. bug hits the media tower there are a few inconsistencies. First off when the bug hits the tower the pole wraps around the front end staying intact. In the next shot it shows the pole is broken and sitting on the hood. Then there's a shot where it shows a guy laying on the ground and the bug in the background. Now the bug has backed up about 4 feet and the pole is now not broken and only bent. (01:14:18)

Visible crew/equipment: In the scene at the motel where Matthew says to his mom (Erin Brockovich) "I'll bring you back some breakfast", look at the TV next to the door. You can see one of the film crew holding the boom microphone. (01:50:28)

Trivia: In the diner when you see the real Erin Brockovich (the waitress), you can also see the real Ed Masry. He is sitting directly behind Julia Roberts and her baby. Another side note, look at the real Erin Brockovich's name-badge, it says Julia. (00:10:05)

Character mistake: Clark has too many lights on his house causing the city to go dark. There is a scene where the power plant needs to boost their output. There is a close-up of a guy flipping the switch. Look at the way they spelled auxiliary - auxilliary. (00:37:54)

Trivia: When Jim Carrey goes to his son's school and reveals that he cannot lie, his son asks him some questions, one being "If I make this face will it get stuck that way?", while of course making a funny face. Then Jim Carrey responds with, "Uh Uh, in fact some people make a good living that way". Do you think the second part of the line is in reference to himself? I think so... (00:42:31)

Trivia: Towards the beginning of the movie there is a close-up of the front window of Blast From the Past. If you look closely in the upper left hand corner you can see the jacket that Marty wore in the first movie. Also if you look on the right hand side you can see a Who Framed Roger Rabbit doll, another Robert Zemeckis film also starring Christopher Lloyd. There's also a Jaws video game. (00:12:28)

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie after Biff leaves the McFly home. There is a scene where Marty and George are talking. In one shot George has three pens in his pocket, a few seconds later he has two. (00:14:14)

Continuity mistake: At the Twin Pines mall during the chase scene with the Libyans, there is one shot where you get a great look at the driver as he's trying to start the engine. Later on you get another look at the driver as the van is moving and it's a totally different person. (00:29:52)

Visible crew/equipment: At the end of the famous court yard chase scene when Griff and gang crash through the courthouse windows, you can see in plain sight the reflection of cables and the mechanisms that held them in the air. [Corrected in 25th Anniversary edition.] (00:20:55)

Visible crew/equipment: Just as Griff is about to crash through the front door of the court house after he is chasing Marty on the hover board, you can see someone (the director?) on some sort of crane in the reflection of the glass. (00:20:58)

Audio problem: When the whole family is at the Siegfried and Roy show Clark is asked to participate and they make him disappear and he doesn?t come back. At one point Rusty says "I wonder where Dad went" and Ellen responds with "I don't have a clue". If you read Ellen?s lips she is actually saying "I don?t know" and waves her hands. (00:20:21)

Visible crew/equipment: Right at the start, when Clark is stepping up to the front door, you can see a microphone appear down from the top of the screen. Playing this scene in real time is the best way of seeing it, but watch closely because it's only in view for about a second. (00:01:38)

Other mistake: In the scene where Biff confronts Marty outside the swinging doors while Marty is watching himself talk to his 1955 Mom and Dad, you can see that Crispin Glover (George McFly) has been replaced with Jeffrey Weissman. There are other scenes where you can tell it isn't him, but this is the most prominent one. Glover wasn't in the 2nd movie due to him and the producers not agreeing to a movie contract. All the scenes you see him clearly were taken from the first film. (i.e. where Marty is looking at him through the binoculars at the dance). (01:27:59)

Visible crew/equipment: If you look at the money case that Doc brings with him that has all the different types of money for each year, you will see where it says 1864 the reflection on the glass or plastic of what appears to be a tripod most likely for lighting. (01:03:47)

Continuity mistake: In the Café 80's just after you hear Marty say, "It is Wild Gunman", notice the three people sitting in the second booth from the back wall. When the scene changes to Marty throwing his hat on top of the game, you can see that the people have changed tables. You can also see that they are gone again when it shows a close-up of the two kids. (00:15:18)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where the 1985 Jennifer is in her 2015 home and says "I get married in the Chapel-O-Love?" right before she picks up the picture note the Chapel-O-Love picture and frame on the bookcase behind her. After she picks it up and drops it leaving it on the floor she looks for a place to hide. Later on when the old Lorraine and George are in the living room, take another look at the picture on the bookcase; the Chapel picture is set back up. You could argue Lorraine would have had enough time to set it back up. But look at the Chapel picture; it's inserted in the frame upside down. You can tell by looking at the frame stand behind it. Meaning someone physically removed the picture and put it that way. (00:28:18)

Revealing mistake: When Doc and Marty arrive in 2015 when the car is landing in the alley you can see the mechanism that is lowering the car. Just as the scene switches from the front of the car (right after the headlights go out) to the back of the car, look between the car and the building at the same level as the back bumper. There is something that is moving down with the car. Also, the vents in the back of the DeLorean are different. (00:06:12)

Continuity mistake: If you look very closely, after Marty flips on the little girl's hover board and is laying on his stomach, when he goes to get up you can see that he's wearing regular lace style tennis shoes and not the auto-lace high tops that Doc gives him as soon as they get to 2015. You may need to pause it to see them. (00:18:56)

Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the movie when Clark Crashes into Wayne Newton's house you can see the hood of the tour van is not damaged. A few scenes later when they pull up to the casino the hood has a lot more damage to it. (01:15:22)

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie when Clark and his family sit down at the kitchen table to talk about their Vegas Vacation, watch the fruit basket in the middle of the table. It's there when they go to sit down and it's gone in the next scene. Every time it shows the kids it's there and every time it shows Clark and Ellen it's gone. (00:02:32)

Visible crew/equipment: At the beginning of the movie when Clark is entering his house and the camera angle is from inside, just as he opens the door there is something red on his front porch. If you look at any of the previous scenes, that red thing isn't there. It's the bottom of a sunscreen being used to block the bright sunlight (which would have flooded the camera) behind Clark as he enters the house. (00:01:44)

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie after Clark trips on the bike, you can see Clark put the Vegas brochure in his jacket pocket. When he goes to open the front door you can see no brochure in his left hand. In the next scene when he enters the house the brochure is back in his left hand along with his briefcase. (00:01:39)

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie when Clark is driving home, he skids into his driveway where it is visible that the Ford Expedition is crooked and about three feet from the bike. In the next scene the Expedition is straight and right next to the bike, so that he steps on it when he gets out. (00:01:21)
