Other mistake: During his final discussion with Tomalok, Picard tells him that the Enterprise will escort the Romulan ship back to The Neutral Zone. However, as the episode ends, the two ships are heading off in opposite directions. Both the Enterprise and Romulan warbirds have demonstrated in the past that they can spin on their axis from a standstill. There is no reason for either ship to head away from the other to turn around.

Factual error: When the bus is shown entering Washington, DC for the competition, the shot shows the bus traveling over the Arlington Memorial Bridge with the Lincoln Memorial in the background. That bridge is on the southwest side of the city. Since NYC is to the northeast of DC, this means that to get to that bridge and enter DC that way, the bus had to drive all the way around the city and then come back in from the opposite direction. Even if the bus driver made a mistake and missed the most direct route into the city from the north, there are dozens of other ways to get to the heart of the city without adding a good 45 minutes to an hour to the trip.

Continuity mistake: When Olaf is standing at that secretary's desk, he reads the calendar and says his name is "haircut." The secretary and the top of her desk are shown several times and in most of the shots, the calendar is visible near the secretary's left arm. However, in at least one of those shots, the calendar vanishes.

Factual error: When the alien contacts Voyager after his catapult jump, he states that he is 5,000 light years away. Despite the distance, he and Janeway have a real time conversation. With this incredible communications technology, Voyager (which is at this point less than 55,000 light years from the Alpha Quadrant) should be able to have several back and forth conversations a day with Starfleet.

Factual error: When examining the sand, Bobbi states "According to carbon dating..." Fitz finishes by saying "It's a billion years older than the earth." However, carbon dating is only good at determining the age of something to about 60,000 years old. The only thing carbon dating could tell about the sand is that it is 60,000 years old or older. It certainly couldn't determine that the sand was 5 billion years old.

Other mistake: When Sulu tells Kirk he is coming to help, he states the Excelsior is currently in the Alpha Quadrant. The problem is the the Alpha Quadrant in the Star Trek universe is one quarter of the total Milky Way Galaxy. While technically correct, Sulu giving his position as in the Alpha Quadrant is useless to Kirk in terms of knowing when to expect help. It doesn't matter where Khitomer is in the galaxy. Sulu saying he is in the Alpha Quadrant gives Kirk absolutely no idea of when he will arrive. He could be anywhere from 5 minutes away to 5 weeks away or even further. Remember, it was originally projected to take Voyager 70 years to go from the Delta Quadrant back to the Federation in the Alpha Quadrant.

Continuity mistake: As Thorin is picked up by the eagle, the eagle's talons roll him towards the camera. Both of the eagle's feet are in view and you can see all the way down Thorin's body to his boots. Orcrist is nowhere on his body during this initial shot of the pickup. As soon as the shot changes (where the Oakenshield drops free) and both of the eagle's feet come back into view, Orcrist is now on Thorin's body, running over his stomach and left leg. Had it been there before, it would have been visible when the eagle rolled him towards the camera.

The shot changes again and the patient is now in the bed with Adams holding the basin under her mouth. There is not enough time in that shot change for her to move from the foot of the bed to in the bed.

Towards the end of the scene there is even one point where Kelso puts his arm down, the shot changes, and Kelso puts his arm down again.

Plot hole: Gaeta and Tigh both reference the fact that the Galactica crew computes the changes in stellar drift for FTL jumps and then sends out the info to the rest of the fleet for their use. However, when they fail to rendezvous with the fleet after the emergency jump, Gaeta realizes a mistake has been made and says that Galactica's info is out of date. This creates a major plot hole because if Galactica sends out the new info to the fleet, Galactica would always have the most up to date info for FTL jumps. The crew would be able to solve the lost fleet crisis by simply reloading the last coordinates that Galactica sent out and jumping there where the fleet would be waiting for them. There would be no need to go back to the previous coordinates and recompute the jump.

The drink switches instantly between her hand and the table several times in the following shots.

Factual error: During the boat chase scene, Bond throws a grappling hook/anchor from the old boat he is driving onto the deck of the rubber boat "riding" his. The rubber boat is then violently yanked off of Bond's boat and crashes. This makes no sense. For the rubber boat to be yanked off that way, the other end of the anchor line would have to be tied to something stationary. However, the other end of the line is just lying in Bond's boat. There's even a shot of it sitting there.

Continuity mistake: When Pete shows Artie the vial of Myka's blood, he is holding it between his first finger and thumb. When the shot changes to the front, he is holding it between thumb and ring finger.

Factual error: In the original Transformers, Tyrese Gibson's character is credited as and wears the rank insignia of a USAF Technical Sergeant. In Revenge of the Fallen, set two years later, Gibson's character now wears the insignia of a USAF Chief Master Sergeant, three ranks higher than his rank in the first movie. The USAF would not jump someone three grades into the top 1% of the enlisted force no matter what his heroics or experience (that does not even happen to Medal of Honor awardees). Clearly the screenwriters recognized this as Captain Lennox is bumped only one grade to Major despite his actions in the first film and Gibson's character, as noted in another mistake, is credited as Master Sergeant Epps, a reasonable promotion. The costume department simply got the insignia wrong.

However, throughout the whole movie, Gibson is seen wearing the sleeve chevrons of a CHIEF Master Sergeant. Chief Master Sergeant is the highest rank an enlisted person can hold and is NEVER referred to either verbally or in writing as Master Sergeant. Master Sergeant is a different (lower) rank.

Nellis is not in the middle of nothing and to fly there would take longer than driving.

There is no way for him to have rolled the crust larger off camera because Chuck was in the way and that was the whole reason he picked the crust up.

The old man is talking the entire time so there is no time lag for him to have moved his hand.

Continuity mistake: The first time Turk and Cox are talking in the gym, watch the man on the machine behind Cox. During the first shot of Cox, the man's face is obscured by the pulley for a pull down bar. Cut to Turk then back to Cox and the pulley has moved enough so that the man's face is now visible. Cut to Turk and then back to Cox for the third time and the man's face is blocked again. The viewing angle of Cox is the same each time so it is not a camera angle difference.

The pen flip may be deliberate, but it doesn't seem like it, as Murphy doesn't react at all. Factual error: When the plane is attacked by missiles, Helen punches a button on the cockpit console and a screen lights up that says "chaff". The next shot shows the rear of the plane with several burning items coming from it that are supposed to be chaff. However, chaff containers burst open into thousands of radar-reflective strips that are meant to confuse radar-guided missiles (see real chaff in the movie Air Force One). What actually comes out are flares that burn extremely hot to confuse heat-seeking missiles. While it might be suggested that we just never see the containers burst open, later in the missile chase we see the exact same items in view for a much longer time and they never burst open.

Continuity mistake: During the scene where the government agents go to arrest Evie at the BTN, V shows up and the building is evacuated. The agents see Evie in the hallway. When Evie turns to run away from them, there are several people directly behind her in the very crowded hallway. Take note of three men, one in a dark, short-sleevd shirt, one in a long-sleeved, light grey sweater with yellow stripes and a third in a red shirt directly behind the first two, that are directly in front of Evie as she starts to run away from the camera. There is also very little room for her to run due to the crowd. When the shot changes to show her running towards the camera, the man in the sweater and the man in the red shirt have disappeared and there is a good ten feet of empty space to run in. The shot again changes to show Evie running away from the camera again and the two missing men are back and the crowd has reappeared. (00:17:45)
