Continuity mistake: When Gerd Fröbe is teaching the new pilot, a car is approaching and the pilot crashes vertically through the bottom of the plane. In the first shot his vest is up and in the return shot his vest is down, still stuck in the plane.

Factual error: When James Hunt is in the rain, he has raindrops on his visor. At that speed, no drops can stay on anything. And besides that, most water will go over his head. A few drops might hit his helmet.

Factual error: Near the end the Germans have to blow a tree in two pieces but the snow on the road is still there, not affected by the blast. And later when the first Kübelwagen is passing the gap for the chase there are already tracks from other takes.

Continuity mistake: On Pointe Du Hoc when the German soldier cuts the hook loose from the wires, you see that hook falling down. In the next view only the rope comes down and the hook has vanished. [The falling hook apparently caused too much danger for the actors].
