Continuity mistake: When Dr. Boyer's car is pulled out of the pool, it is facing in the opposite direction from when it was driven in.

Continuity mistake: Near the end of the 'Matchmaker' number, when Tzeitel flops down on the bed, she appears in a slightly different position when the next shot cuts to the girls looking out of the window.

Will & Grace (1998)

Ice Cream Balls - S6-E13

Revealing mistake: In reality Deborah Messing is pregnant but her character is definitely not, so Grace has been filmed lately hiding behind big purses, pillows, counter tops, coats, etc. For some reason in this episode there was some rather sloppy shooting where Grace's waistline is concerned: When she and Karen are first entering the cabin, right after Grace says the line '...driving past 20 churches...' she turns sideways and for a few seconds there is a clear shot of her advanced pregnancy. Additionally, when Grace and Karen go to bed (also in the cabin) they have Grace lying on her back so the pregnancy is quite obvious in that scene, too.

JustJudy

Continuity mistake: When Maid Marian is in the tub singing, her hair style changes as the view of her face does. For example, as she is singing straight into the camera, her curly hair hangs around her face with just a tiny bit pulled back on the sides; when the shot changes to a side view of her singing the hair has been pulled away almost completely from her face.

Friends (1994)

The One With The Cooking Class - S8-E21

Continuity mistake: The night before they go to the baby furniture store, Ross and Rachel are in the kitchen talking. Just before they leave the kitchen watch Rachel's robe: in one shot the 'lapels' are neatly one over the other, and in the next shot one lapel has moved lower and looks halfway folded over as if she hastily pulled the robe together. Easter Parade (1948)

Continuity mistake: When Nadine is doing her 'Shakin' the Blues Away' song and dance she spins a number of times and by the end of the routine her hair has become quite undone in the front. As the audience applauds she disappears behind the stage curtain for just a second then reappears to take a bow. When she reappears her hair is perfectly coiffed.

Easter Parade (1948)

Continuity mistake: When Hannah and Johnny meet and are huddling outside the restaurant waiting for the rain to stop, patrons keep exiting the eatery and banging the door into them. About the fourth time this happens the door begins to open but as the shot cuts away briefly the viewer sees the door never fully opens and no one exits the restaurant. (A bit of rough editing.)

Swimming Pool (2003)

Continuity mistake: Julie doesn't come home one night; the next day as she is getting out of the pool we see that she has been "roughed up" and has a black eye. Next to her eye there is a circular bruise/mark. That evening, as Julie and Sarah are at dinner the bruise is now under Julie's eye and is a different shape (longer and more oval in shape). Fanilow - S6-E10

Question: Will and the others are in line to buy Barry Manilow tickets when the box office opens at 6:00 a.m. the next morning (it is established that the episode takes place before midnight) and at one point Rudy states that the show is "tomorrow night." My question: is it common in New York for a fairly popular performer to sell tickets only on the day of the show? I live in Southern California and I can't think of a single time I've heard of a concert headliner selling tickets less than a month before the show.

JustJudy

Chosen answer: I'm not from New York so I can't speak for them, but in Chicago it has happened before. not very often though but I do recall it happening. I have also seen no tickets sold prior to the show at all, it was just first come first served the night of the show. That is very uncommon though.

Sleeping Beauty (1959)

Factual error: Phillip cuts through the thorny mess on his way to the castle by swinging his sword from side to side. He and his mount then advance without harm through the overgrowth. Cutting to the left and right would not clear the path directly in front of them.

Finding Nemo (2003)

Factual error: After Nigel returns Marlin and Dory to the ocean it is raining and the sky is nearly solid with gray clouds. As Marlin and Dory speak bright sunlight is streaming down through the water all around them, illuminating the ocean floor. Even if the water is extremely shallow where they are swimming the overcast sky would not provide such bright, consistent light. (01:21:45 - 01:22:40)

Suggested correction: It's not THAT cloudy. It's more cloudy on the right side than it is on the left when Nigel's apologizing to Marlin and Dory.

Dames At Sea - S6-E1

Continuity mistake: When Grace reads Dr. Morty's letter on Karen's boat (in the last episode of season 5) it sounds at least a few paragraphs in length. During this episode, when she holds the letter up there is only a short paragraph on the bordered side of the page, and nothing on the back side.

Heaven Can Wait (1978)

Continuity mistake: As the ecology group's party is winding down, Betty and Leo walk off together and end up by the garden well. During this scene (including while Leo speaks with Betty, The Escort, and Mr. Jordan) the well is visible in almost every shot and changes from being in full sun to full and partial shade several times.

Heaven Can Wait (1978)

Continuity mistake: Joe takes over Leo Farnsworth's body while Leo is bathing, so it makes sense for him to put on a robe and get dressed after getting out of the tub. Watch, though, as he walks over to the butler who is holding out the boxer shorts - you can see Leo is wearing the same tennis shoes Joe was wearing in previous shots. (I guess Warren Beatty didn't have time to remove the shoes between takes?)

Continuity mistake: When the group buries Curly, the viewer can see a bunch of flowers stuck on the 'grave,' just a few inches away from the makeshift cross. Continuity mistake: When Rex is explaining his ranch's layout to Jan over dinner, he uses a coffee cup, sugar cubes, and a napkin for props. The Wizard of Oz mistake picture

Revealing mistake: When the doorman initially refuses to let Dorothy and friends into the Emerald City, they protest, saying the Good Witch of the North sent her; they show him the ruby slippers as proof. As the camera pans down to the slippers, look at the yellow brick road Dorothy is standing on - it is flat and looks as though it was simply painted.

Continuity mistake: Near the very end, Ferris races home in vain as both Jeanie and his parents beat him home. Ferris is still in the kitchen as we see his parents at the base of the stairs, saying 'Let's go check on him.' They turn and start up the stairs. The next shot shows Ferris racing up the stairs. Next, we see the parents begin to mount the staircase (this time from a different angle) for a second time.

Runaway Bride (1999)

Trivia: There is no 'Hale' Maryland; the actual town/area used for filming Runaway Bride is called Berlin (also in Maryland). There was such a response from tourists looking for Hale after the movie was released that signs were erected along the highway and on the main street of Berlin welcoming them to Hale.

Runaway Bride (1999)

Plot hole: There are a few references in the movie about Cory, Peggy, Cousin Cindy, Maggie, etc. growing up together in Hale, Maryland (East coast). Why, then, does Peggy have an obvious Midwest accent? (I know 'Peggy' talks like this in real life; in the movie it seems out of place next to the other characters, who all sound the same).

Continuity mistake: The morning after Frank hits Cathy in the face, she rearranges her bangs so that the mark is covered. As she is talking with her friend El (on the front porch) and nervously touching her hair, the mark becomes visible to El. In the next shot, Cathy's bangs are smoothed over her forehead, covering the mark, even though she hasn't touched her hair again. (00:47:50)
