Aladdin (1992)

Continuity mistake: When we first see Aladdin in the market place, the canopy to the right of the melon booth (where Aladdin is seated) is yellow with a flat top and no fringe. Aladdin (1992)

Continuity mistake: When the Suitor slams teh palace gates in Aladdin's face, they have large, scrolled iron brackets extending across the doors from the hinges. When the Prince Ali parade goes through them, they have massive flat iron bars attached to the hinges held on with giant nails. Later, when the Sultan announces that Jasmine has chosen a suitor, the doors no longer have hinges or brackets at all. The carving in the doors also changes between these shots.

Aladdin (1992)

Continuity mistake: During the Prince Ali parade, Aladdin shakes the hands of some men in a towering pile that Genie has scooped up with a human wheelbarrow. The top five of those men pile onto Aladdin. Then the number of faces grows in the pile, first to six, then seven, then eight faces. When Aladdin lifts the pile, there are six men in it.

Aladdin (1992)

Continuity mistake: After the Suitor to the Princess storms out, the Sultan runs toward Jasmine seated at the fountain. The long shot positions the bird cage in the foreground at least a hundred yards away from the fountain. When Jasmine walks to the bird cage from the fountain, she only requires eight tiny steps to reach it.

Aladdin (1992)

Continuity mistake: Aladdin and Jasmine climb over the edge onto the first rooftop on their way to Aladdin's secret hideout. As they climb over, the wall around the roof has a very flat top with sharply defined edges as well as deep crevices indicating that it is made from large blocks. In the next shot looking down the same wall has a very smooth rounded adobe top with no lines or crevices on the top or sides.

Continuity mistake: As Aladdin is sinking in the ocean, he sees his turban falling as well. This turban doesn't match his earlier one: it lacks the gold brim that goes all the way around the Prince Ali hat and the fabric that hung down around Prince Ali's neck. This turban has a very wide white border, a much smaller jewel and feather, and is very round, almost like a helmet.

Aladdin (1992)

Continuity mistake: After Jafar has wished to become Sultan, look behind Jasmine and the Sultan: the pattern on the low walls has ovals leaning to the left. Later, when Iago says "Let's all give a warm Agrabah welcome to Sorcerer Jafar," the oval pattern leans to the right.

Aladdin (1992)

Continuity mistake: Aladdin presents himself as Prince Ali to the Sultan by flying down directly in front of him, about a foot or two away. After Jafar closes the doors to the throne room, Ali and Carpet are now at least 15-20 feet farther back.

Continuity mistake: Jafar hyponotizes the Sultan to steal the Mystic Blue Diamond. A dramatic downward shot of the Sultan walking toward his model of the Palace shows a entire collection of large artifacts against the wall to his left: a Pegasus sculpture, a gold carriage, a gold globe, and an assortment of pillows on the floor. As Jafar leaves, these items have disappeared.

Continuity mistake: The curtain in Aladdin's rooftop home changes size between when he first opens it, when he shows Jasmine, and a reverse shot from outside. The inside shots also show the bottom edge to be jagged, but it is straight and smooth from the outside.
