Winter's Tale

Peter Lake: Is it possible to love someone so completely, they simply can't die?

Isaac Penn: How do I know you're not moved by vanity or curiosity? How do I know that you're not here for the money in this family?
Peter Lake: I was an orphan, orphans don't have vanity. I'm not quite sure why, but one needs parents to be vain.

Isaac Penn: Who are you? What do you do? What is your relationship to Beverly? Are you aware of her special condition? What are your motivations, intentions, and desires? Tell the absolute truth. Don't elaborate. Stop if a neighbor, child, or servant comes in. And be brief.

Question: Why does Colin Farrell's hair go from long to short in the "current day" part of this movie?

Chosen answer: Because it's over a century later and he's in a different time period. The styles are different.

Question: How did Peter Lake know Beverly's name? It was never given when they first met (at least in the movie). When he rescues her, he calls her by name.

Question: How old was Willa in 1916 and how old is she in 2014? Asking because it would seem like she is over 100 years old yet still works?

Chosen answer: In 2014 she's around 135 years old, in 1916 she would be 37, but she hasn't aged due to supernatural reasons. Remember, this is a movie with a magical, winged space horse.
