Continuity mistake: Max takes a photo of herself at the start of episode one. When she uses this photo to time-travel in episode five, if you pay attention, it's slightly different than the original photo.

Continuity mistake: At one point, Max mentions that she and Chloe made a mix-tape CD when they were both twelve. However, Max's journal in the game notes that Chloe is a year older than her, making Max's statement about them both being 12 when they made the mix-tape impossible.

Plot hole: In episode two, Mr. Jefferson receives a phonecall at one point after talking to Kate. However, if you rewind time all the way and then don't interact with him, he doesn't receive the phonecall a second time. Flub in the programming of the time-travel.

Trivia: Spoilers: Originally, the "Sacrifice Arcadia Bay" ending was meant to be longer and more involved, and feature several other scenes and moments to wrap up the story. Due to time and budgetary constraints, the developers were forced to remove many of the elements of the ending in order to get both endings done on time for release. The game's artistic director stated that the ending is meant to imply that it's a "new beginning" for Chloe and Max (implying Chloe has escaped her seemingly predestined early death), and that the ending is also meant to solidify that the two friends still love each other, and from now on will be together forever.
