Continuity mistake: Doomsday has a bone spike protruding up from each of his 4 knuckles. But when Doomsday grabs Superman by the head and draws back to punch him hard in the face, the spike on his thumb is missing. Superman catches his fist, and in that shot you can see two more of the spikes have vanished, and Doomsday only has one over his middle knuckle.
Continuity mistake: When Doomsday slams Superman down into the subway, the hole they make in the street is right in the middle of a crossing. But a minute later in the film as civilians are walking up to the hole, there are no lines anywhere around it. Moments later after Jimmy takes a picture of the hole, the shot cuts to a far angle and now the hole is next to the crosswalk lines, and in that shot the stairway entrance to the subway station also vanishes. The road also becomes much wider with more lanes, and the red truck turns around.

In that shot, the soldier's arms are inside Doomsday's hand and his hair is a light brown or gray. But then when the shot changes as Doomsday begins to throw the soldier to the side, the soldier's arms are suddenly outside of Doomsday's hand, and his hair is now black.
Continuity mistake: When Lois says that Lex is harvesting Supermen, the camera pulls back to show the rows of incubation chambers. The first row has infants, the second row, which they are looking at, has adult clones, and then the third row has infants again. But then when Lex confronts them, the camera changes to behind Jimmy and Lois with the first row on their right and the second row to the left with Lex next to them. The third row is shown behind them, but now the third row has adult Superman clones instead of infants like seen in the above shot.
Continuity mistake: The first row of incubation chambers holding the Superman clones when Lois and Jimmy walk in are holding small undeveloped infant clones next to the control consoles. But after Dark Superman destroys the lab and breaks the consoles, it shows fully grown adult clones on the floor where the incubation chambers were just destroyed by the console.

Continuity mistake: When Lois is walking down the hall way in Lex's building, she rounds a corner. A split second later, Jimmy rounds it following her. Continuity mistake: In the Fortress of Solitude while Superman is in recovery, the robot has him doing exercises to build his strength. The shot pans over to show him pushing up on a weight machine. There are several vitals reading patches on his torso with cords hanging from him, except for two additional patches on his stomach that have no cords. It then cuts to a close up of him and suddenly the pointless patches on his stomach vanish. Also the parts he is pushing up against with his hands are instantly significantly smaller.
Continuity mistake: Once Lois and Lex begin to kiss, Lois puts her arms around his neck and back with her left arm going up to his shoulder. It cuts to a closer angle after half a second and suddenly you see Lois lift her left arm up again to his cheek. Also Lex's thumb instantly changes position.
Continuity mistake: Once Lois makes her presence known to Lex in his office, the camera pans over to show her standing in his double door leaning against the wall. In this shot, the left side of the door is closed and the right side open with her standing leaning against the right side door frame. But then it cuts to a close up of her and pans up, and now the left side of the door is what is open, and she is leaning against the closed right door.
Continuity mistake: Just before Lois makes her presence known to him, Lex is shown in an overhead view in his office looking out the window. There is a desk to his right and his left a few feet away from him by the windows. It cuts to a side view of Lex's head and suddenly the desk to his right has vanished.
Continuity mistake: When Dark Superman is digging the led ball out of his brain with some scissors, the lady with blue hair faints and falls over. After Superman gets up and walks past where they are, the lady is suddenly gone. It cuts to a view of Superman's feet as he walks, and suddenly the blue hair lady is there again on the ground with a black lady and a redhead suddenly appearing on the ground helping her.
Continuity mistake: Once Dark Superman opens the salon door, the ladies inside all stop what they are doing and look at him in shock. The camera shows especially this one girl with blue hair working on the hair of a black girl and they face their left to see Superman come in. But once Superman starts walking in, suddenly they are much closer to him and they are facing the opposite direction as he passes by. Also the arm rest the black girl is sitting in suddenly disappears.
Continuity mistake: As Dark Superman is walking down the street, he looks over and sees La Fantastique Salon which has a blue awning over its window. The awning having a pattern of blue alternating between light and blue. When he first sees it, the end of the awning by the door is the dark blue pattern. It then cuts to a different angle and suddenly the end is the light blue one. Also suddenly he is holding the paper in his hand higher, and the brick pattern on the wall changes slightly in relation to the door.
Continuity mistake: Lex holds up a piece of paper with a list of Lex Corp competitors to tell him to search for Superman's body. You can see the arm rest on the chair and him sitting in the chair. When Superman steps forward to take it, the angle changes and suddenly the drawing of Lex is off, appearing to be sitting on his arm rest. Also his fingers change in how he's holding the paper, and the position of his right arm and hand on the desk change positions.
Continuity mistake: In the overhead shot of the cat in the tree with the old lady, you can see the small stairs behind the lady with nothing beside them but a tree. It cuts to the cat in the tree then to the lady, and suddenly two trashcans appear beside the stairs under the window. The tree is not big enough to have covered both of them up in the previous shot.
Continuity mistake: When we first see the old woman with her cat stuck in a tree, it's a higher angle showing the cat. This shot shows the cat is near the center of the tree on the left side of the tree, right where the tree splits off into two even sides. But then it cuts to a close up of the cat, and suddenly the cat is further out on a much smaller branch, and now on the other side of the tree as can tell by the way the limb is shaped.
Continuity mistake: When Lois pushes her way through a crowed to see where Toyman was killed, she pushes buy a blond guy with a camera that has a badge like thing attached to his shirt, my guess is a press pass. After she sees Jimmy on the other side and then it cuts back to her, suddenly the press pass on this guy has changed shape slightly and is smaller, and lower down on his shirt.
Continuity mistake: In the shot where Toyman hits the police car and is killed by Dark Superman, there is the police crest on the door and the headlights have no distinguishable blinkers. It cuts to Superman flying off then back to Toyman and now the door is blank, and the headlights have blinkers. Also another police car appears behind the vehicle that was not there.
Continuity mistake: After Superman wakes up and sees the robot reviving him, the camera pulls back to a far shot to show him on an operating table with a machine beside him on each side, and a board with digital display behind the robot. When it cuts to Superman's perspective of the robot, the machine to his left changes shape some, and the display on the board is a little different, most noticeably the part in the bottom middle has a pointed corner instead of a cut off corner.
Continuity mistake: When Superman first wakes up back at the Fortress of Solitude after his body is recovered by his robot, the first thing be sees is the robot looking down at him. In that shot, the 4 lines that form the robot's mouth are much thicker than any time before, and they are unevenly spaced and shaped.
Continuity mistake: After Lex discovers Superman's body is missing, the scene changes to Superman's robot having his body in a revival chamber, healing him. There are pipes and a panel on the side of the container. When it cuts to the robot, then back to the chamber from a different angle, there is now more space between the panel and the pipes. And now the pipes are not bending to go straight down but diagonally to the left towards a machine.
Continuity mistake: Jimmy picks up the newspaper Lois hands him and sees the picture of Lex and Superman together. He says "Okay weird." Then the camera changes angles and now the shapes on the back of the paper are a little different, most notably the large box next to Jimmy's right hand vanishes.
Continuity mistake: Once Jimmy sees Lois outside the Nite Club, he comments on what she is wearing. In the first shot, he has the strap of his camera around his neck and down his chest. It cuts to a close up as he makes his remark and suddenly the strap is gone. Then in the next shot after Lois grabs him by his earring, the strap is back, but only over one shoulder. Also in the shot where the strap vanishes, the people around him instantly change around.
Continuity mistake: When the girls get out of the car in front of the Nite Club, there are photographers roped off from the sides of the entrance. There are only 3 poles holding up the rope on either side of the entrance parallel to the walk way. But in the close up as the girls are walking to the door, they pass 4 poles.
Continuity mistake: After Lois gets off the phone with Martha, the scene changes to just outside the Nite Club. A car pulls up and two girls get out, a blond and a redhead. When they get out in the high shot, the blond is on the right and the redhead on the left. Then it cuts to a frontal close up of the girls and they switch positions.
Continuity mistake: As Lois is dragging Jimmy, by his ear ring, into the ally beside the Nite Club, it cuts to a different view from inside the ally. And suddenly a street light pole appears next to the building, the side walk is much thinner, the ledge outside the window on the red building vanishes, and the lighting on the side walk changes. As well as an additional row of panes appear on the yellow window.
Continuity mistake: After getting out of the car, two girls walk up to the Nite Club past some photographers. As they do, it cuts to a close up of the photographers, and suddenly the blond guy with the backwards black ball cap has his camera lowered instantly, and the guy in the gray suit beside him suddenly turns into Jimmy.
Continuity mistake: Lois is caught in a daze staring at the co-worker that is now in Clark's place. She has her left arm up resting on the back of her chair. Her phone rings and she turns to look at it, and then the camera cuts to a different angle, and suddenly her arm is down off the chair.
Continuity mistake: When Jimmy and Lois stop in the ally beside the Nite Club, Jimmy is in front of the window of the next building, close to the right edge of the window, and seen by the position of his feet next to the line on the side walk. It then cuts to a close up of him as he shows off his Italian silk, and suddenly he is off to the left of the window.
Continuity mistake: Lex has Kryptonite jewels on the knuckles of the metal gloves he wears when he is beating up Superman in the ‘Rumpus Room'. After he knocks Superman down and is climbing on top of him, the Kryptonite has vanished, but as soon as he stops moving, they reappear in the same shot.
Continuity mistake: After beating up the clone of Superman in the Rumpus Room, Lex walks up to the container holding the real Superman's body and talks to it. There is a towel draped over Lex's left shoulder, and the shadows are on the right side of Lex's face and body. It then cuts to an angle showing Lex's reflection in the glass of Superman's container, and suddenly the shadows on his body move to the same side as the towel. It cuts to a different angle and the shadows go back to his right side.
Continuity mistake: Lex says "Red and green, the colors of Christmas." When he does, he holds out his arms to his sides palm up and looks wondrously up at the red solar lamps. It then cuts to a closer angle and instantly his right arm and hand are in a different position and his body is turned differently just before he begins pounding on Superman.
Continuity mistake: When Superman enters the ‘Rumpus Room', the red solar lamps turn on and there are lots of red hexagons on the ceiling and floor that glow as well. Throughout the entire scene, the red hexagons are never consistent in size and position from one shot to the next. It is most noticeable when Superman hits the ground after Lex's assault and the hexagons are roughly the size of his ear. But then in the high shot, they are bigger than his whole head.

Continuity mistake: In the overhead shot of Superman standing in Lex's office, he is standing on a stage like area raised with small stairs. The circle he is standing on is a gold color with some blue towards the outside then a gold ring. And Superman is standing almost dead center. A couple of shots later, without him moving, it shows Superman's feet and now he is standing closer to the edge, and the circle is now totally blue except for the gold ring around it.
Continuity mistake: The day after his ‘resurrection', Superman is standing in Lex's office looking for him. Behind him in the high shot, you can see Lex's desk with a computer monitor close to the center in front of the chair. It then cuts to an angle in front of Superman and pans across the same desk, and suddenly the computer monitor is twice the size and right on the edge of the desk, a second monitor appears on the far right of the desk, and the armrests on Lex's main chair vanish.
Continuity mistake: As Superman is walking up to the room that Lex is leading him to, it opens up and there is the red and green panel of the door on the side, but on the metal of the door frame. It then cuts to a closer, higher angle and suddenly the panel is beside the door frame on the wall.
Continuity mistake: As Superman is saying to Lois that he will see her soon, the buildings can be seen behind them in the close up. It cuts to a far shot before he lifts off and the building that is seen above Lois' head, the windows and lights change position. The building behind Superman's head also changes slightly and becomes more symmetrical.
Continuity mistake: When Superman is walking through the mazelike area in Lex Corp looking for Lex, he walks down a hall that has multiple tiles and stuff on the floor. It cuts to a different angle as he reaches the end of it and suddenly the hall is much more narrow, and the tiles become singular and bigger.
Continuity mistake: Once Toyman throws the bus off the roof, you can see the police cars on the street below and how they are arranged. It then cuts to a view from inside the buss at Lois and the little girl hanging on for dear life and out the back window of the bus you can see the police cars. Only the ones visible are not in any way like the patterns you could see previously. They rearranged themselves.
Continuity mistake: When the doll leaps at Lois with a knife, she grabs one of three reddish pink backpacks and smacks it into the window. The back pack she grabs is the one on the right, and as she grabs it you can see that the middle backpack has a rectangular shape on the front that is just an outline, and the backpack on the right has a similar spot but is round and yellow. Then when the children are getting off the bus, the remaining two backpacks are shown hanging there still and the one that was in the middle now has a yellow oval shape on the front instead of the rectangular outline. The design of the backpack is also different. Also in the shot just before this, the same spot is shown, but the backpacks are missing.
Continuity mistake: After Superman apprehends Toyman, he sets down and the police lead the villain away. A cop walks up to Superman and says thanks, Superman turns and looks at him with a straight face. It then cuts to a close up of Superman's face and instantly he has a big smile on his face.
Continuity mistake: Lois grabs one of the three red backpacks from the front of the bus and smacks the doll with it. The backpack then just completely disappears. It's not in her hands, it's not back on the hook, it's not on the floor, nor on the ground outside of the bus. It just vanished into mid air after she hit the doll and is never seen again.
Continuity mistake: When Lois is sneaking up to the door of the school bus, you can see the front wheel appears to be one solid piece all the way around and in the spokes and center. But a bit later as she is leading the children off the bus, there are now gaps between the spokes and the center is hollow. The wheels change several times in this scene. Also the front bumper suddenly becomes elongated. The headlight is also missing from the first shot and reappears.
Continuity mistake: Once Lois gets on the bus, the kids sit up and look at her. It cuts to a view of Lois, and behind her in the rearview mirror you can see the children reflected. Pay attention to the two on the far right of the reflection. It then cuts to a close up of them, not the reflection, and suddenly the little girl instantly has her hands over her eyes.
Continuity mistake: After Toyman's spider slashes through the seats on the right side of the bus (from the bus' perspective), then slashes and hits the seats on the left. But in the immediately following shot, the leg of the spider busts through one of the back windows on the left side of the bus, and you can see the top of the back seats sticking up in view in perfect condition despite in the previous shot being cut in half.
Continuity mistake: Once the police begin driving away after Toyman's threats, the camera pulls back showing Toyman's spider holding the roof of the bus, and you can see the two legs are puncturing the top of the bus. It then cuts to a front view of this and suddenly the top of the bus is without a scratch, and the shadows on the roof of the bus move further down.
Continuity mistake: After hugging the money, Toyman moves his giant spider mech back on top of the school bus and then tips it over the side of the building while threatening Metro PD to back off. He is using the left side of the spider to hold the bus, and the legs on the right side of the spider to stay on the roof of the building. You can see in that shot that 4 of the right legs are on the roof behind the small wall. But after a brief moment of cutting to Toyman's face, it cuts to show a shot behind the spider before Lois opens the door and suddenly the front most of the right legs of the spider is hanging off the building. When it shows the front view of the spider again, the legs are once again all behind the wall.
Continuity mistake: When Lois is sneaking up on the bus, you can see there are several pipes on the roof of the building they are on sticking up all around. But a little later when Toyman is lifting the school bus with the spider, the roof is visible behind it and the pipes are gone.

Continuity mistake: In the scene following Lex shooting Tess, it cuts to Metropolis PD surrounding a building. The camera pans up to show a school bus at the top of the building partly hanging off, and it shows the wall the wheel is resting on with no damage. It cuts to a close up and suddenly there is a lot of damage and hole in the wall where the bus' front wheel is.
Continuity mistake: As Tess and Lex are talking in his office about how Lex was cheated out of his winning strategy by Doomsday, the arm rests on his chair are square. But then when the camera pans back up after he shoots Tess in the face, the arm rests are now rounded and bigger.
Continuity mistake: The school bus on the building has caused some damage, right under the front wheel. Moments later when Toyman appears and the goes to the top of the bus in his spider mech, there's less damage under the wheel. Also the front wheel goes from looking like a 5 point star to a 7 point star.
Continuity mistake: When Toyman first appears, he walks his spider mech down the side of the building and it cuts to a close up of him saying he won't share, and begins hugging some money up to his face with both hands. It then cuts back to an exterior shot of the spider, and you see that Toyman's hands are instantly down at his controls again.
Continuity mistake: After Perry White says that Jimmy is weak and is not strong enough to hold onto his ideals, he turns around his chair and holds up his glass. It then cuts to a close up of his face just before he takes a drink and suddenly his fingers are holding the glass much higher up.
Continuity mistake: After Jimmy quits the Daily Planet, Lois barges into Perry's office demanding to know why and discovers that he is drinking. One shot shows him tip up his glass and drink most of the contents, leaving only a small amount with the four ice cubes. It cuts to Lois for a moment then back to Perry as he says to not sugar coat it, and now his glass is half full, when he nearly emptied it moments before.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie, Lois and Perry are arguing in his office, and you see his door. The handle of the door is on the right side. But 30 minutes later in the film when they are talking there again, the door handle has switched to the other side. It's most noticeable when Perry says "easy to lose sight of I guess in a world without Superman." And then takes a drink.

Continuity mistake: As the camera is zooming in on the electronics shop, you can see the doorway and a welcome mat out front of it. It then goes back to normal in the overhead shot. Also the building to the right of the electronics shop changes up in the overhead shot.
Continuity mistake: Towards the beginning of the film, you see Clark pick up and then set down a picture of his mother down by his computer towers. Then 30 minutes into the film you see Lois look across over at that same picture after Superman's death and the computer towers change in design.

Continuity mistake: After the scene in the Daily Planet where Lois and Perry are talking about Clark missing and that Lois should go see friends or family, it cuts to her driving down a road by large corn fields going to Martha Kent's house. She is driving with her right hand on the top of the steering wheel and her left arm hanging out the window, but with her hand and wrist propped up on the seal. It then cuts to a different angle as the car is driving by and suddenly her left arm looks extremely weird in some animation error. It appears it is just the elbow of her arm out the window, but that it has somehow merged with the door and she has become part of the car. Also her right hand is no longer at the top of her steering wheel and her head rest on her seat is suddenly not extended up as much.
Continuity mistake: After Superman's funeral, Lois is sitting in her cubicle at the Daily Planet reading a newspaper. When Perry White walks up and talks about there not being word from Clark Kent, it cuts to a shot from further back. Some of the papers on the wall behind her vanish, the pencil on her desk vanishes, the papers pinned to her bulletin board to her right change shape slightly, especially the one towards the center bottom becomes straighter instead of crooked and longer, also displaying different text. And the distance between the edge of her bulletin board and the other cubicle wall increases.
Continuity mistake: At the start of the scene showing Superman's funeral, there is a yellow guard rail around the memorial stand with his coffin in front of the podium. Standing in front of the yellow rail are 13 police officers in full uniform, 7 on one side and 6 on the other. The shot cuts to the audience for a moment, and then shows the podium and memorial again from a distance shot, and suddenly all the police standing by the coffin have vanished.
Continuity mistake: As Superman is emerging from the smoke after the impact, the amount of damage to his suit on his right shoulder changes between shots of him, the close up of Lois and the back to him. The damage on the chest area also changes from appearing near perfect to very jagged. And the blood dripping down from his mouth also becomes thinner.
Continuity mistake: Superman grabs Doomsday and rockets upwards with him to save a little girl and to take the creature into space. When he first starts going up, Doomsday's arms are forced down at his sides, but slightly in front of him from the force. But when the shot cuts to a distance shot, suddenly Doomsday's arms are stretched up in the air like how Superman normal flies.
Continuity mistake: Lois is reading a newspaper in her cubicle about the death of Superman, and there is a pencil on her desk on top of some papers. A few shots later when Perry White gets closer to her to tell her that Kent is probably fine, the pencil turns around facing a different direction, and the papers it is on move also. A stapler also suddenly appears next to her computer, and the brown book on the far end of her desk moves closer to her and turns around so the spine is facing the wall to Lois right and the pages facing her computer when it was the spine facing her computer first.
Continuity mistake: After Lois and Jimmy settle down by some rubble to watch the fight more, Doomsday is shown picking Superman up by his head before he begins punching his gut. In that shot, Doomsday's right arm is straight down by his side, and also the bone spikes have vanished off his knuckles. It then cuts to a close up and suddenly Doomsday's arm is drawn back some behind his back, and his knuckle spikes reappear.
Continuity mistake: After Superman is flung out of the subway and hits a building, then lands on the ground face down, Doomsday leaps out of the hole and you can see what appears to be a brown 80's SUV, or a truck with a camper, behind him next to some civilians. The camera angle changes a side shot of him as Doomsday turns his attention to the civilians and charges them, and now the SUV has vanished.
Continuity mistake: When Superman is launched out of the ground from his fight in the subway with Doomsday, he smashes into a brown building with yellow windows. The windows on the left side of the building are in a tall vertical column, with several horizontal rows of yellow windows on the rest of the building. When Superman hits the building, you can see he hits between the area of two horizontal rows of yellow windows. But it cuts to a close up and suddenly he is lined up with one of the rows.
Continuity mistake: Doomsday picks Superman up by the head and is about to start pounding him in the gut when Lois and Jimmy run up to some rubble behind the creature and duck down. Jimmy then raises up his camera to his face to snap a picture, but when it changes to a shot from behind Jimmy and Lois, suddenly his camera is back down.
Continuity mistake: After Jimmy takes a picture of the hole in the ground above the subway station, the shot pulls back and shows the hole, with several people gathered around it and some cars. Then suddenly some of the road is pushed up from Doomsday and Superman fighting below and the people turn to look. The angle then changes before more road is pushed up on the other side of the hole, and suddenly the part of the road that was pushed up in the previous shot is back down to normal, the green cars have vanished and a white one appears next to this new pushed up spot, and a guy wearing a white shirt suddenly appears where the road is pushed up. Also the crosswalk lines once again vanish.
Continuity mistake: When Doomsday backhand slaps Superman down the tunnel, Superman skids along the roof for a moment first, and leaves a good amount of damage to it in the process before he falls to the rails below. But then when the subway train is coming and Doomsday turns his attention to it, the damage Superman made to the roof of tunnel has completely fixed itself. Also some of the lines at the start of the tunnel dividing the different concrete slabs have vanished.
Continuity mistake: Once Doomsday slams Superman down through the ground into a subway station, he has him by the neck against the floor, and then clasps his other hand around Superman's neck. When he does, Superman looks up at him with his eyes just before he blasts Doomsday away with his laser vision. But his head is still turned sideways. It cuts to a different angle and suddenly Superman's head is fully facing up towards Doomsday. Also the grip in how Superman and Doomsday are holding each other changes a bit, notably with their hands.
Continuity mistake: Doomsday leaps into the air and smashes Superman down into the ground, crashing down into a subway station. As they are hitting the floor, you can see the brown columns holding up the roof are almost to the edge of the walkway by the tracks and touches where the tan area of the floor changes to a light green color at the end. But then Superman shoots Doomsday back with his laser vision and Doomsday looks at him angrily, and now the columns have a good few feet between them and the edge of the walk way.
Continuity mistake: Doomsday and Superman leave a sizable hole in the roof of the subway station as they slam in through the streets above. But when Superman throws Doomsday down onto the tracks, the shot shows the same spot where they made the hole coming in, only now the roof is devoid of any damage and the hole entirely gone.
Continuity mistake: Once Superman throws Doomsday down onto the subway tracks, he flies at him and Doomsday back hand slaps him hard down the tunnel. Superman lands on his face on the rails, and you can see the sleepers on the ground under the rails. When the camera changes angles as Doomsday approaches him, the sleepers suddenly become much larger.
Continuity mistake: Just before Doomsday ploughs through the fence of the power station carrying Superman with him, you see down the street he is about to go on that there is a yellow 18 wheeler with gray trailer and an pinkish car on the left side of the street. But then it cuts to a close up of those same vehicles as Doomsday steps on one to jump, and suddenly both have turned into green cars.
Continuity mistake: In the first shot it is seen, the fence of the power station that Doomsday is thrown at shows that gate part is slightly taller than the rest of the fence and has one sign on each door of the gate. But then moments later as Doomsday is plowing through the gate, it is now the same height as the rest of the fence, and only one sign is present, which becomes smaller and a darker color. Also two vehicles appear behind the fence that were previously not there.
Continuity mistake: As Superman is throwing Doomsday at a small power station, you can see several cars out in front of it on the two lane road. Notably on the left side a small truck in the middle of the road, that's not moving at all, and a small pink sedan car right on the edge of the sidewalk. But only a few seconds later as Doomsday runs through the fence back in the other direction carrying Superman, suddenly the truck has vanished, and the pink car has changed to a brown station wagon and is facing the other direction. The two lane road is now a three lane road, and the sidewalk next to the fence is suddenly much more narrow.
Continuity mistake: After Superman blasts Doomsday away from him in the Subway station, Doomsday grabs him by the leg and flings him to the other side of the tunnel, breaking a large hole in the wall. As he hits, you can see there is a subway exit on the same wall about a yard or so away from where Superman hits. But then when Doomsday leaps at him to continue his attack, the wall is suddenly solid where the exit once was.
Continuity mistake: When Superman throws Doomsday through a building, Lex Luthor is shown watching from his office from an over the shoulder view from his perspective. It then cuts to an angle from further behind him and suddenly an antenna appears on the building, and the design of the windows change.
Continuity mistake: Jimmy and Lois walk up to the hole in the ground left from where Doomsday smashed Superman down into the subway. Jimmy holds up his camera and takes a picture, then it cuts to a close up of them. Suddenly his right hand goes from holding the side of the camera to holding the lens, and the strap of the camera is suddenly over his arm. Lois and Jimmy are also suddenly closer together, and her arm goes down to her side.
Continuity mistake: After Superman recovers from getting elbowed in the face, he knees Doomsday in the chin and then flips over him and throws him hard at a building. But if you watch closely, the building it shows him being thrown at is different than when it cuts to the next shot to the building he hits and goes through. In fact it the building he hits looks more like the building off to the left of the one that he was thrown at.
Continuity mistake: As Superman tackles Doomsday out of the way of the subway train, you can see that Superman grabs him from behind and is pushing him towards the wall, Doomsday facing it. But then it cuts to a different angle just before they hit the wall and suddenly Superman has Doomsday by the front and Doomsday's back hitting the wall.
Continuity mistake: After getting hit by Doomsday's elbow, Superman hits the ground and slides across the road on his face, mostly his chin with his arms flailing around behind him. It cuts to a different angle and instantly Superman has pushed up off the ground with his hands and is rolling over.
Continuity mistake: After Superman saves Lois and Jimmy in the chopper, he and Doomsday get into a fist fight for a moment, Superman getting a few good hits off, followed up by Doomsday spinning and slamming Superman in the face with his elbow. The shot cuts to a different angle as Superman staggers away and falls, and suddenly the number of spikes on Doomsday's shoulder goes from 4 to 1.
Continuity mistake: Having saved the chopper, Superman and Doomsday go at it again in the street. As they are punching, you can see buildings on the left side of the street, and in the distance there is a small blue building with yellow windows and a taller building beside it to the left with a large sign on top. It then cuts to a close up of Superman getting a good punch to Doomsday's face followed by Doomsday smashing his elbow into Superman's face, and suddenly another building appears between the small blue building and the other one, and the large sign has vanished off the building that was beside it on the left.
Continuity mistake: Once Lois and Jimmy are out of the chopper, Doomsday bursts up from the rubble of the building and begins charging at Superman, who then charges back at Doomsday. As they collide, you can see down a side street at the buildings, several cars in the road, and some rubble. Doomsday and Superman bounce off each other and slide back in their respective shots, and then go at it again in a fist fight. The side shot then shows the same street, only now some of the buildings on the left side are noticeably different, the cars have vanished from the street, the smaller pieces of rubble in the road have changed around, and the street lines in the road have vanished.
Continuity mistake: When Superman sets down the chopper, there is a building behind them with some people standing around. It cuts to a very brief shot of inside the chopper as Lois removes her seat belt and then cuts back to outside the chopper, and suddenly the people standing around have moved. Also the air intake on top of the chopper changes shape and goes from a lighter blue to darker blue. The damage to the windshield becomes more extensive between shots, the glass part on the bottom of the front of the chopper goes from being two parts to one solid part, and the broken landing leg changes from a light blue to being white like the body of the chopper.
Continuity mistake: When Superman goes to set down the chopper that Jimmy and Lois are in after Doomsday trashes it, the air intake vent on the top of it is smaller than seen before. Then when he sets the chopper down and lets Jimmy and Lois out, the design of the intake vent changes completely.

Continuity mistake: When Superman pulls Doomsday off the chopper, there's a metal panel stuck to Doomsday's fingers and you see it still there as Superman throws him away. Then the angle changes just before Doomsday smashes through the roof of a building but suddenly the panel has vanished from his fingers.
Continuity mistake: Jimmy kicks the side of the helicopter where Doomsday is holding on and Doomsday falls, but then grabs the chopper by the landing bars. His left hand is forward of the metal piece that holds the landing bar to the frame of the helicopter as he uses his right hand to grab into the side of the helicopter. But then after Superman pries Doomsday's right hand away and goes to cut through the connecting metal with his laser vision, Doomsday's left hand is suddenly holding on behind the connecting metal.
Continuity mistake: After seeing Jimmy and Lois in their helicopter, Doomsday leaps through the air and grabs it. The window of the chopper cracks and the frame where he grabs it bends with his grip and his weight. But then as Superman grabs Doomsday, a shot from the outside of the chopper shows the window and frame fully intact, no damage.
Continuity mistake: When Lois spots Doomsday and Superman from the helicopter, Jimmy is beside her holding his mouth trying to not throw up. His camera is around his neck and you can see the button to snap pictures is on the right side of the camera at the top. But them moments later when it cuts back to them, Jimmy is holding his camera to snap pictures and suddenly the button has vanished off the right side, and his finger is on the left side as if he is pushing the button there.
Continuity mistake: From the air, Lois spots Superman and Doomsday fighting below, and points. It then cuts to Superman and Doomsday battling by some rubble. Cuts to a close up and then back again as Doomsday smashes Superman into the ground, and now the pile of rubble behind them has changed.
Continuity mistake: As Lois is starting up the helicopter with Jimmy, you can see the seats behind them and how they are designed, lots of lines and not plain, with the seat belts coming out about mid way down. But then as the helicopter is zooming by the camera, you can see now the seats are now plain looking, and the belts come out much higher up.
Continuity mistake: After Superman lands a couple punches on Doomsday, the creature grabs his fist and throws him down the street. As he hits the ground, you see a burning car behind him that is orange. The it cuts to a close up of Superman skidding and then getting up, the car behind him turns blue, and the damage to it changes.
Continuity mistake: After Superman pushes Doomsday away once he breaks from the ice, Doomsday charges again, swinging a punch which Superman jumps aside to avoid. In that shot you can see the tank next to them and the .50 cal gun mounted on top of it. Then Superman retaliates and lands two hard punches on Doomsday and the camera cuts to a side angle, and suddenly the .50 cal has vanished off the tank.
Continuity mistake: When Doomsday is first charging at Superman, Superman begins blowing at him to freeze him and you see this as a shot from behind Superman. There are no cars in the street between him and Doomsday. But once Doomsday is fully frozen and Superman stands there looking at him, the shot switches to showing them from behind Doomsday, and suddenly there is a car and a van on the sides of the street.
Continuity mistake: Once Doomsday is frozen, a shot from behind him shows a van behind him partly covered in ice from Superman's breath. The back side window is a full glass window. Then a little later after Doomsday breaks free and Superman pushes him back, suddenly the side window is a solid metal piece. Also the ice on the ground becomes thick snow suddenly and the van's door handle disappears.
Continuity mistake: After arriving back in Metropolis, Superman first tries to defeat Doomsday by simply blowing on him to freeze him. You can see that he is standing almost right next to the tank he just sat down when he is in the process of freezing Doomsday. But then once Doomsday has stopped moving and is frozen, the shot cuts to a different angle and suddenly he and Doomsday are much further away from the tank, and somehow trees behind Superman are half covered in ice as well.
Continuity mistake: Doomsday throws a tank at a group of soldiers, and Superman swoops in and catches it just in time. He slowly sets the tank down and there is a black star on the back of it. It cuts to Doomsday sprinting at Superman, then cuts back to Superman as he is about to inhale and blow at Doomsday to freeze him. Now the black star has vanished. The damage and shape on the tank's cannon also slightly changes, the wheels on the tank change as well as the tracks. And the red van next to the tank is suddenly further back.
Continuity mistake: Doomsday charges a tank and picks it up, throwing it at the tanks behind it. You can see as Doomsday picks up the tank, they are in the middle of a straight stretch of road with no other roads intersecting close by. But as the tank lifts into the air, the camera cuts to a side angle and suddenly the other tanks are sitting right in the middle of an intersection. And the buildings around them also change a lot.
Continuity mistake: After the soldier in the tank fires his .50 cal at Doomsday, the tank turns its cannon at him and fires. Behind the tanks you can see the guard rails of the bridge extend far into the city, showing they are still high up. But then when Doomsday charges the tanks the railing is shown stopping as they are at street level now. Also the city behind them changes up.
Continuity mistake: After Doomsday crushes the skull of a soldier, a tank rolls onto camera and another soldier begins firing the .50 cal gun at the creature. It then cuts to a close up of the soldier from his front and the design of the gun changes slightly in various places. Most noticeably the block under the barrel goes from being a concave curve at the front to being straight. Also the soldier's hands change their position on the gun.
Continuity mistake: When Doomsday is on the bridge in Metropolis, he causes lots of destruction there with fire and death. Moments later, Doomsday charges at a tank and punches the missile that it fires at him, blowing it up. The camera pulls back and shows the bridge behind him, with no fire or smoke or anything that was there previously.
Continuity mistake: The robot at the Fortress of Solitude has black arms, including most of the shoulders except where the pivot joint is visible. But for one shot when Superman is saying he wants to be more than Earth's resident strong man, the robot's shoulder is solid silver color like its torso.
Continuity mistake: When the laser drill is first shown at Project Applecore, you can see a protective bumper like thing on the front of it colored black and yellow in the caution stripes. Two scenes later when it is shown again as the workers decide to breach the spacecraft, the bar has changed. The lines being thinner and more of them. It also appears to be a perfect rectangle the second time whereas it was lopsided the first time.

Continuity mistake: After Superman fails his experiment to cure cancer, Lois walks up wearing just a towel and holding a smaller towel, drying off from a warm bath. It cuts to a different angle and suddenly the parts of her hair draped over the front of her shoulders down her chest are shorter, and the ends of the hair go from a single point to being forked. Her grip on the smaller towel also changes, her hands closer together, and her mouth is suddenly open when the shot changes.
Continuity mistake: Behind Clark when Perry asks him about his flight, the elevator door is seen behind him with its green design lines all over it. Then after talking to Lois, he gets in the elevator and the door closes, and now the diagonal green lines towards the top have become much thinner.

Continuity mistake: When Lois and Perry are arguing in his office in the beginning, you can see his many plaques on his wall. Moments later when Perry is standing in his office door way talking to Clark, you can see the same wall and corner behind him. Now there are fewer plaques and they have moved around, most noticeably the round orange one now on the other side of the corner.

Continuity mistake: Perry asks Clark if he should be packing for his flight and you can see the cubicle directly to Clark's right there are some brown papers of some sort on the wall of the cubicle. Then a moment later in a close up of Clark, the brown items have become a wall calendar.
Continuity mistake: When Clark goes to pick up the blue lunch box next to his mom's picture, it shows his computer tower at his cubicle. On it above the red light, are two rows of 4 rectangles. Then it changes angles and now the first row of rectangles is thinner and more square shaped. Also between shots the extended gray space between the darker space where the rectangles are and the red light becomes thicker.
Continuity mistake: After Dark Superman knocks Superman into his memorial stone, Dark Superman (the one dressed in blue) comes down and hovers over Superman (dressed in black) and gloats. Behind him is the bulldozer. After Lois shoots Dark Superman with a Kryptonite beam and then Superman tackles him, they slide across some oil next to the same bulldozer, that now looks completely different.
Continuity mistake: After cutting through all the clone tubes in the incubation chamber, Dark Superman punches a console that controlled the clones' life support. In the close up of him hitting it, the screen he punches is red, but the screen on the left side of the console is black. It then cuts to a far shot and now the screen on the left is red like the one he punched.
Continuity mistake: As their fight reaches the Superman Memorial Park, Dark Superman punches Superman down it and there is a bulldozer. The amount of dirt in the shovel of the bulldozer increases between shots. In the same shots, there is a large pile of wood next to the tanker truck that disappears as Superman is thrown into the truck.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Lex kills Tess, several shots of his desk, most prominently the silhouette of him shooting Tess through the window, show that he does not have any computer towers under the desk. Yet later when Dark Superman is walking into Lex's office and he confronts him about being out of character, there are now towers under the desk.

Continuity mistake: As Superman is returning Lois to her apartment after rescuing her from Toyman, he goes to land on the balcony outside her room. It is first shown as small with only a table and one plant on it. But as soon as Superman lands, it is suddenly a lot bigger and a lot more stuff is on it.
Continuity mistake: After Superman rescues Lois from Toyman, he is flying her back to her apartment. She is marveling at how he could be back and places her hand on his cheek, with her wrist going over his chin as he frowns. It cuts to another angle, and suddenly her hand has moved back some and her wrist not over the front of his chin. And Superman is suddenly smiling.
Continuity mistake: Just before we see the TV broadcast of crime levels going up in Metropolis, we see a traffic light next to the electronics shop window. On it are Don't Walk signs, a One Way sign, and the street sign. Then as the camera pulls back when the thugs start stealing the TVs, the signs have vanished.
Continuity mistake: After the big impact of Superman and Doomsday, Lois and Jimmy run up to the crater and see Superman's cape torn and tattered, hanging on a pole. As they run up, Jimmy is on her right, and she is has her body turned to the right when they stop. The camera cuts to show Superman's cape and suddenly she has her body turned to the left.
Continuity mistake: Doomsday grabs Superman and pounds his gut hard enough to splatter blood on Lois' face. In a side shot of her and Jimmy, the blood streak on her face has two drips on it, and is curving up. It cuts to a close up of her, and suddenly there is just one drip, and it is curved down. Her mouth is also suddenly closed.
Continuity mistake: When Superman throws Doomsday onto the subway tracks, he slides across them and breaks the railings. But when Superman dives at him and receives a monstrous backhand slap to the face, which sends him down the subway tunnel, the reverse shot showing Doomsday has him standing on subway rails in perfect working order and condition.
Continuity mistake: After their fight destroys a small power plant, Doomsday grabs Superman and takes off running with him. Doomsday steps on a green car and leaps into the air through the street. As the shot cuts to show him coming towards it, the power plant is shown smoking behind them, but the green car has vanished. Unless it's the car suddenly on fire... In which case the flames instantly appeared between shots. But Doomsday just crushed the roof with his jump, which couldn't have started a fire.
Continuity mistake: After Superman rescues the helicopter Lois and Jimmy are flying and sets it down, Lois reaches up and undoes the top half of her seat belt, and Jimmy is just sitting there in shock not touching his. It cuts to a different angle and Superman walks up. Lois suddenly has her full seat belt off, and Jimmy is helped out of the chopper by Superman, without ever taking his seat belt off. There was not a time laps between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Doomsday first charges at Superman the first time after Superman catches the tank, Superman stops him by using his super breath to freeze him. This freezes a very large portion of the street and cars in the street as well. But then when Doomsday breaks free and they start fist fighting, Doomsday grabs and throws Superman down the street. As Superman is getting up, the shot shows Doomsday charging at him again from the same spot that was frozen, only now all the ice has completely disappeared.
Continuity mistake: As Doomsday is running at a group of solders about to throw a tank at them, there is a black and white car beside them. Then after Doomsday throws the tank and Superman comes out of nowhere to catch it, the car turns brown, and an off orange van appears. This van also has no windows on the side. There also go from being 7 soldiers to 5.
Continuity mistake: After Lois and Jimmy get in a helicopter, the scene changes back to Doomsday and Superman fighting on a street. As Superman is attacking Doomsday, there is a yellow car in the street behind the creature. Superman then gets a few good hits off, and sends Doomsday flying backwards through the air. Suddenly the yellow car has turned into a large 18 wheeler truck.
Continuity mistake: On the bridge, Doomsday crushes the skull of a soldier with his hand. Burning rubble and debris are shown behind him. After one of the solders turns the 50 cal on Doomsday, another shot shows a red car suddenly appears behind Doomsday. The double yellow lines also suddenly vanish from under Doomsday.
Continuity mistake: As Lois and Superman are having their first argument about him telling her who he really is, there is a pink stone like thing in the room with them. They are standing in one spot in the scene, but the stone keeps moving around from shot to shot. Most noticeably at the beginning of their argument, and the end of it when she is walking away mad.
Continuity mistake: After Superman finally reveals to Lois that he is Clark, she tackles him against the wall and kisses him. When his head hits the wall behind him, it knocks a picture loose that tilts sideways but is right behind his shoulder. When the angle changes to a closer view, the picture has moved almost totally off screen and barely a corner behind Clark's shoulder. Then a moment later, without them moving, it shows a side shot again and now, they have suddenly moved further down the wall, and more away from the wall. The picture being further away, and the stuff in the background moving closer.
Continuity mistake: After Dark Superman finishes destroying all the Supermen clones, he punches and destroys the console that controls the room. The camera pulls back and shows the incubus fluids completely covering the ground and some dead Superman clones close by. But then when Dark Superman begins walking away after telling Jimmy and Lois to evacuate, there is suddenly much less incubus fluid on the ground, the dead Super clones change position, and some gray mud like stuff appears on the floor.
Continuity mistake: After Lois and Jimmy discover the room full of Superman clones, Jimmy begins snapping pictures. Then Lex shows up and holds them at gun point. When Lois and Jimmy begin backing away, Jimmy is on Lois' right side. Then suddenly between shots, they switch places.
Continuity mistake: When Lex finally wakes back up and confronts Lois and Jimmy, he holds them at gunpoint while walking between a row of Superman clone incubation chambers. Every time it shows Lex from a different angle, he is in a different position in the row. Sometimes in the center, sometimes on one side, and then the other.
Continuity mistake: After Lex realizes Lois and Superman were lovers, he sits down and tries to seduce her and says "You need someone to take his place... Someone strong." He places his hand on her chin to turn her head. Between shots and the close up, her lips are closed, and then suddenly open showing her teeth.
Continuity mistake: As Dark Superman walks from the door of the salon to an empty booth, he walks in a straight line and passes two mirrors and booths where people are getting a haircut. When it cuts to a different angle, there is only one booth behind him. One of the ones he passed has vanished.
Continuity mistake: When the real Superman is in the solar chamber going through accelerated absorption of solar energy, there is a giant, dormant robot to the right of the chamber, and Superman is on the left side facing it. A few shots later, suddenly Superman is on the same side of the chamber as the giant robot and has his back to it. Then in the very next shot, Superman is instantly on the left side again facing the robot.
Continuity mistake: As the police car with Toyman in it arrives at the police station, there are 5 cops standing at the bottom of the steps in front of the station standing it two groups. Three side by side, and then two off to the side. There are also several civilians close to the steps. Then it cuts to a bird's eye view of the station and suddenly there are only 4 cops in front of the station, and their arrangement has changed. And the civilians around the station are suddenly much further away from the steps.
Continuity mistake: When the police show up to try and arrest Dark Superman, the overhead shot of the cars spotlighting him show him by a building, but approximately 10 feet away from it, give or take a few. He is also about 5 feet away from the old lady. Then when the cops get out and walk up, it shows Dark Superman again from a different angle, and suddenly he is only a few feet away from the wall, moved closer to a balcony like thing, and is now just a step away from the old lady.
Continuity mistake: When Dark Superman is confronting the old lady about letting her cat out, police cars drive up and spotlight him. Dark Superman's shadow is cast on the wall beside him, and on the small balcony. But when the camera angle changes, his shadow is on the bricks, not close to the balcony.
Continuity mistake: As Lois makes her way to the scene where Toyman was killed, there is a green sheet over his body on the police car. There is blood going from his exposed hands down the side of the car to the ground, but there is no blood on the top of the sheet. Then when Lois sees Jimmy snapping pictures of the scene, there is suddenly quite a bit of blood on the green sheet. Then when the camera shows a high angle of the vehicle with the dead Toyman on it, the blood is gone once again.
Continuity mistake: The curtains on the door of the Kent farm keep changing colors in the scene where Lois talks to Martha Kent at the door. Shots from behind Lois show the curtains a pale white color, but the close ups of Martha show them as red. And in the reverse angles from behind Martha, they appear a pale pinkish orange.

Continuity mistake: When Perry White is talking to Lois about Clark not calling or emailing, Lois is reading the newspaper about Superman's death. She has it opened up fully. But after the camera shows Clark's computer, Lois still in the shot with the newspaper open, it cuts back to Lois and suddenly she has it folded over.
Continuity mistake: When Superman emerges from the smoke and rubble after smashing Doomsday down with reentry, he is mortally injured and his suit is tatted, torn, and burnt. The shoulders are notably torn and his left shoulder looks burnt. Then after Superman dies in Lois' arms, the camera pulls back and suddenly his suit is in perfect condition, aside from the missing cape.
Continuity mistake: After Doomsday and Superman get out of the subway, Superman flies into him before the monster attacks more civilians. But Doomsday counters and smashes Superman into the ground. Superman is then trying to get up and is on his hands and knees. But the angle changes and suddenly he is on his side. Also the car beside Superman vanishes between shots.
Continuity mistake: Doomsday throws Superman at a wall and pile of rubble. There is a red car stuck in this rubble. Doomsday then begins pounding on Superman's head and smashing him further into the wall. But in the shot where Superman falls out of the wall, the red car has vanished.
Continuity mistake: Doomsday breaks through the ice and slams down on Superman, and when he blocks the attack, the ground cracks under Superman's feet and makes a hole. After Superman pushes Doomsday away and then Doomsday charges back, the same spot is visible. Suddenly the hole and cracks in the ground have vanished, the tank is suddenly closer to the rubble, and the buildings in the background have changed up, most noticeably the windows on the blue building.
Continuity mistake: After Superman and Doomsday first being their fight, Superman uses his breath to start freezing Doomsday. But the beast still walks towards Superman as he is being frozen. A shot of Doomsday's feet show he walks onto ground that is already covered in ice as his feet begin to freeze. But the shot cuts to a side angle and suddenly the ground Doomsday is on is not frozen.
Continuity mistake: The driver of the gas tanker kicks around frantically as Doomsday is ripping him out of the truck and kills him. His foot goes through the driver's side of the windshield, shattering it. But the passenger side is unharmed because it is a separate window in this model of truck. The truck plows through the guard rail after Doomsday kills the driver and plummets to the ground, the passenger side of the windshield still fine. But in the shot of it just before it hits the ground, it is suddenly cracked as well.
Continuity mistake: When Doomsday looks up and sees a gas tanker driving by, it only has two lights on top of it. When it cuts to a close up, it has 4 lights on top. Also in the distance shot, the window and side view mirror on the passenger side are missing, but appear in the close up.
Continuity mistake: As Lois is walking up to Superman from behind while they're both in red robes, she says "Look, I know who you are. Why can't you just tell me?" Superman's head is straight in that angle. But it cuts to a closer shot and his head is suddenly tilted to the side a little.
Continuity mistake: When Doomsday breaks out of his ship and starts killing the people at Project Applecore, the area around the spikes on his body are the same color as his skin, just slightly lighter gray. But after throwing the laser drill rig at a worker, he jumps at and punches two more guys. The hand held camera one guy is using fades out for a moment, then back in. Now suddenly the area around Doomsday's spikes have turned blue.
Continuity mistake: After throwing the guy out of the driver's compartment of the laser drill, Doomsday jumps down and smashes a guy into the ground, leaving a hole. During this same shot, Doomsday picks up the laser drill rig and crushes another guy with it, and suddenly the hole has vanished.
Continuity mistake: Once the team at Project Applecore puncture Doomsday's spaceship, the hand held camera guy gets footage of it. When he zooms in, the location of the puncture hole changes closer to the edge and further from the yellow line than it was. It moves again when the alien hologram turns on. And then yet again after the hologram turns off just before Doomsday breaks out.
Continuity mistake: At the Fortress of Solitude, Superman is shown trying to cure cancer. The large computer he is using has three screens in a semicircle around it. Throughout the whole scene there with him, the robot, and Lois, the screens keep changing positions or vanishing all together.
Continuity mistake: Superman's robot comes up to him shortly after Superman has a failure at curing cancer. The screen on his large computer shows the cells turn red and the word FAILURE appear. While Superman is saying he wants to do more than be Earth's resident strongman, it cuts to a close up of him. The cell arrangement on the screen changes, most noticeably on the right hand edge. These cancer cells change several more times during the scene.
Continuity mistake: Just before Clark walks up to Lois' desk to tell her he's off to the airport, you see a view of part of her desk as she's throwing papers away. You see her phone, and there is nothing else visible except the side of her computer as the camera pans up. Then after Clark goes to the elevator, a different angle of her desk is shown at her cubical. Suddenly the phone is in a different position, a pencil appears, and a yellow sheet of paper is hanging off the side that was not there a moment before and is wedged under the phone.
Continuity mistake: When Perry White picks up Lois' report, it is on the left side of the computer from his perspective. He keeps it in his left hand and does not move from that spot and the computer is shown in the next spot as being on the right edge of the desk. Yet when he slaps it down in the side shot, his arm and paper are suddenly to the right of the computer.
Continuity mistake: After the workers at Project Applecore discover Doomsday's ship, Dr. Murphy and the other two stand to look at it. One is standing in front with her adjacent behind him, and the other male worker behind her on the other side. When it cuts to a far shot of Doomsday's ship, suddenly the three of them are in line standing side by side.
Continuity mistake: As Clark is telling Lois that he's off to the airport to leave for Afghanistan, she is putting her report on Lex Luthor's "charity organization" in the shredder out of frustration at Perry White. There is a painting of a landscape on the wall behind the paper shredder, and there is a blue file cabinet next to Lois and the shredder. The file cabinet is about the same height as Lois while she's sitting. It cuts to Clark, and then back to Lois in a closer shot, and suddenly the painting on the wall has vanished and the file cabinet is much taller.
Continuity mistake: Clark is packing things from his cubicle when Perry first speaks to him. In the first shot of Clark, you can see the items on the desk of his cubicle, mostly the computer, which is very near the edge. When it cuts to a close up of him putting stuff in his bag, a cup full of pencils and pens appears next to his computer. Then as he is setting down the picture of his mother, the cup has more in it, and the things hanging on the wall of his cubicle change.
Continuity mistake: After Perry White tells Clark to write articles when he's out of the country, Clark reaches over to his desk and picks up a purple lunch box with his right hand. His left hand has his bag in it. He then sees the picture of his mother, Martha, and reaches out with his right hand to pick it up and look at it. The lunch box is gone. He sets the photo back down and turns off his computer, and you see his left hand still holding nothing but his bag, and he turns to walk away. After he gets off the elevator, he suddenly has the lunch box again.
Continuity mistake: When Perry White asks Clark if he shouldn't be on the way to the airport, Clark is putting a binder in his bag. His left hand is holding the bag and 3 of his fingers are balled up except his pinky. When it cuts to a close up of the bag, suddenly none of his fingers are balled, but all stretched out. The shadow of his right arm also appears on the side of the bag suddenly in the close up.
Continuity mistake: As Lois is ranting to Perry White about her report, the door to Perry's office is behind her. You can see the writing of "PERRY WHITE EDITOR" on the door through the glass, backwards as it is on the other side of the door. The edge of the letters of the P in Perry and the E in Editor are about 3 inches from the edge of the window by my best guess. A few shots later, it cuts to outside this door showing Jimmy Olson eavesdropping on the conversation from the other side of the door. Now suddenly the letters are closer to the edge of the window, now being about only an inch. The font style of the text on the window also changes slightly.
Continuity mistake: As Perry White, the Daily Planet's Editor, picks up Lois Lane's report on Luthor's "charity organization", there is a blue mug visible next to his computer on his desk. The handle of the cup is facing to the right away from his computer. Moment later, the camera angle changes to being from the computer's left, and now the handle of the cup is pointing almost towards the computer.
Continuity mistake: After he hears Doomsday kill his dog, Biscuit, the guy with the shotgun runs outside to see what happened. The shot of him coming out the door shows a bush next to the steps of his front porch. But when it cuts to a wider angle, the bush has moved to the end of his house.
