Continuity mistake: When the baby rooster tells Foghorn Leghorn that he must be the rooster whose job he's taking over, the pieces of broken egg around the baby rooster change between shots.

Continuity mistake: When Foghorn Leghorn slips an egg under Miss Prissy's nest, you can see that there are two holes on the wall of the chicken shed, but when we see Miss Prissy dancing for joy after seeing the egg, there is now only one hole.

Continuity mistake: When Foghorn Leghorn slips an egg into Miss Prissy's nest, you can see that there is nothing on the wall of the chicken shed, but when one the other hens says "A little baby rooster!", there are now nails on the wall.

Trivia: In the cartoon's opening title credits, there is no "Layout" next to Robert Gribbroek's name, which makes him appear to be an animator.
