The Dark Knight Rises

Corrected entry: When Batman (and partially, John Blake) beat up the guards after they try to execute John. John says "You missed a spot!" referring to a final guard. This line was heavily used by Robin in the comics and some might say is his catchphrase.

Correction: No one would call it his catchphrase cause Robin did not use "you missed a spot" heavily in the comics. in fact he does not say it in any of the hundreds of Batman and Robin related comics in my collection.

MasterOfAll

Corrected entry: In the beginning sequence of the film, Bane's men drop down from the plane above the one he is in to begin attaching cables to it. After they finish, they pull away and up from the plane, and we begin to see the top plane pull the bottom plane forward and tilt it. When this happens, the men who dropped down from the plane above are no where to be seen, but immediately reappear on the bottom plane just a moment later.

Correction: Actually they are there the whole time, Re watch the film, while they move around they still remain on the plane.

Corrected entry: During the intro scenes as Bane triggers the explosive charges to drop the final section of the airplane, it falls straight down but they are hoisted by a moving plane! It should fall behind them not straight down. You can also see that the ground below is not moving indicating that they are just suspended in the air. A third revealing error shows that it appears that they are suspended only a few hundred feet above the ground instead of a thousand as the actual plane's altitude.

Correction: You have to remember the plane is traveling the same direction and speed Bane is, when dropped it is not falling 90 degrees, it is falling at an angle while still traveling forward, It would take a few seconds before it slows down and lags behind, which it does slightly before the shot changes. They are high enough in the air so that the ground doesn't look like its moving but you can tell it is. It is also painstakingly obvious that they are thousands of feet in the air.

Corrected entry: The scene when the police men charge into the crowd of bad guys and the camera is displayed over head there is one actor policeman with a yellow vest who is ahead of all the other police men and he seems to throw a punch into the opposing crowd but two goons go opposite side and he missesthe punch, the actor almost baffled continues to run with his fist out to hit someone but everyone concentrates on the other police men, he slows down and finally after realizing this an actor from the goons side comes after him. Pretty funny.

Correction: A character missing a punch does not qualify as a mistake, not even a character mistake. Think how many mistakes we would have if we include allow a gunman missing his target in a shootout in all movies to be a mistake.

XIII

He is probably overwhelmed by the chaos.

Corrected entry: At the beginning in the car taking Dr. Pavel to the CIA plane, we see Pavel at the front of the car and three masked guys in the back (Bane and two henchmen) but when they are in the airplane there are only two (Bane and just one henchmen).

Correction: There is a henchman at the open door, with a gun to his head, there is a henchman on his back waiting his turn to be threatened, and both are behind Bane who is on his knees.

Phixius

Corrected entry: In the scene where Bane has Miranda, Lucius Fox and another board member placed in front of the reactor, in the shot where Fox places his hand in the digital scanner you can see he misses his mark, because the scanner shows his supposedly scanned finger prints about an inch lower than where his fingers are placed.

eructo666

Correction: The screen scans the fingerprints no matter where the hand is placed; the monitor is just showing the read-out of the prints, not their original positions.

BocaDavie

Corrected entry: In the scene where Batman meets Catwoman in the sewer, just after she says "Don't be shy" the shot changes to a camera angle slightly behind Catwoman, we hear her speaking but you can see that her lips are not moving.

CptAwesome

Correction: Her lips are in fact moving, but the side of her face is obscured by shadow.

gobylo

Corrected entry: Joseph Gordon-Levitt commandeers a car to rescue Commissioner Gordon, he drives through exploding streets, falling debris and smoke, but when he arrives at the hospital the car's exterior appears in pristine condition. Looks like he stopped to have the car detailed between shots.

Correction: He arrives at he hospital in the car which is in the same condition as he "borrowed" it. His original car got damaged, but the other car was taken by him after the explosions had finished.

XIII

Corrected entry: During the stadium scene, the clock shows 15:00, then, just before Bane kills the doctor, you can see the clock in the background show 14:44.

Correction: The 15:00 display is the game clock, not a time clock. The game was just starting. After the opening touchdown (by Hines Ward, a former Steeler), the game clock was down to the visible 14:44 because 16 seconds had elapsed.

Jeff Swanson

Continuity mistake: When Bruce is meeting with Lucius in the office at Wayne Tower, the book on the seat next to Bruce changes positions during their conversation. (00:37:15)

Bane: Leave us.

Bane: [Puts his hand on Daggett's shoulder]. Do you feel in charge?

Trivia: John Blake talks about "giant alligators" being in the sewer, likely a nod towards Batman villain Killer Croc.

Question: SPOILER: At the end of the movie, it is common knowledge that Bruce Wayne is dead. A tombstone is erected and Wayne Enterprises are executing his will. Since everyone knows Batman died, did Gordon (or someone else) out Bruce as Batman? Fair enough, they could've come up with a cover story for Bruce's death, but surely people would get suspicious if Bruce Wayne and Batman died around the same time.

Brad

Chosen answer: Given that no accurate records would have been kept of what occurred in Gotham during Bane's occupation, it would be very easy to claim that Bruce had been in the city when the bridges fell, been captured and subsequently executed by forcing him out on the ice, as had happened with many other socialites. Plenty of people died during Bane's takeover of the city, particularly in the final hours. There's no reason why Bruce would stand out among them as a candidate, and even if anybody did harbour some suspicion, it could hardly be proven.
