Follow That Camel

Continuity mistake: During the dinner sequence, Angela Douglas is handed a letter. She is seen holding it with her right hand, but when the man seated next to her asks "What is it, my beloved?" we cut back to Angela and she is now holding the letter with her left hand.

Factual error: The song that Bo and the others use to trick Abdul into thinking there are reinforcements is "Durch die Grune Heide", a marching song used during the Second World War. However, the film is set in 1906.

Continuity mistake: When Zig-Zig says "Come back now!" to Sergeant Nocker, from behind Nocker has nothing in his mouth, but in the next shot he is smoking his cigar.

Continuity mistake: When Lady Jane meets Commandant Burger, she is wearing pearl earrings. When Lady Jane says "Maximilian!", they disappear, and then return for the rest of the scene.

Continuity mistake: When Sheikh Abdul Abulbul asks Sergeant Nocker and Bo West "How many men?" at Oasis El Nooki, the Sheikh is holding his sword on his hip with his left hand, but in the next shot he is now clutching his whip with both hands.

Continuity mistake: When Sergeant Nocker releases the horses from the post at Oasis El Nooki, the grey horse he releases last starts to gallop off into the distance, but in the next shot the horse is back at the post again.

Continuity mistake: When Sergeant Nocker goes over to Corktip's house, he is wearing his medals. But when he is taken to the Oasis El Nooki he has no medals on him, and when he returns to the base after running away from his captors, the medals have reappeared.

Continuity mistake: When Abdul puts a tablet in Lady Jane's drink, you can see that the tablet is dissolving, but when he picks up the glass in the next shot, the drink appears completely clear.

Continuity mistake: During the attack on Fort Zuassantneuf, Commandant Burger has a monocle over his right eye. When Burger says "Look out, here they come!" his monocle has disappeared, but a few shots later it has re-appeared.

Sgt. Nocker: Hold it baby. How about giving us the Dance of the Two Veils?
Corktip: You mean seven veils.
Sgt. Nocker: Why bother with preliminaries?
