Continuity mistake: When Jeff and the dark-haired kid are talking in the car, the little disco ball hanging from the rear-view mirror varies between swinging very gently and swinging with large, rapid movements, without anyone touching it. This is especially noticeable in close-ups, when Jeff is shown, the ball is moving violently, when the camera is on his friend the ball is barely moving. (00:01:50)

Bruce Campbell: You know Jeff, I've gotten a lot of use out of chainsaws over the years. Killed a lot a zombies, saved a lot of lives, but at the end of the day when push comes to shove... they're just too damn heavy.
Trivia: The large guy who says the town should have rather kidnapped the blacksmith from "Army of Darkness", is played by Timothy Patrick Quill, who also played the blacksmith in question.
