Continuity mistake: In the last scene, when they are all sitting at the table, Cosmo has a pair of glasses on, when they pan back to him, he's wearing a slightly different pair. (01:29:15)

Visible crew/equipment: Loretta calls for Ronny at the bakery, and when he picks up the phone then promptly hangs up on her, the dark protruding outline of the microphone wire is visible at his right side. It happens again when Loretta visits the bakery and Ronny tells her Johnny took his life from him. Additionally, later when Ronny and Loretta spot each other at the fountain in the Lincoln Center Plaza, there appears to be an actor's mark at Ronny's feet. (00:25:00 - 00:27:05)

Super Grover

Factual error: When Loretta and Johnny leave the restaurant in Brooklyn and drive to JFK there is the long car ride scene through the Midtown Tunnel. There is no tunnel between Brooklyn and JFK.

Continuity mistake: When Loretta takes Johnny to the airport, she's driving his Oldsmobile with the "Ninety-Eight" emblem missing from the side of the car, but when Loretta pulls into the lot with Mr. Johnny's car, the emblem is attached to the Olds. (00:09:00 - 00:12:25)

Continuity mistake: At the end, while Cosmo pours the Mumm champagne into the two flutes in the closeup, Loretta wears the ring on her middle finger, but it cuts to the wide shot and the ring has suddenly switched to Loretta's ring finger. (01:36:55)

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: After Loretta slaps Ronnie, and she's getting ready to leave she goes into the bathroom and clips all of her hair back into a ponytail. She walks out of the bathroom and around the corner into the hallway, the shot changes, and suddenly only part of her hair is in the ponytail and there are a lot of loose strands.

Ronny Cammareri: I ain't no freakin' monument to justice! I lost my hand! I lost my bride! Johnny has his hand! Johnny has his bride! You want me to take my heartache, put it away and forget?

Trivia: Cosmo's favorite song is "It Must Be Him" by Vikki Carr and it is heard in the film when he plays it on the phonograph. Later, Vikki Carr can be seen sitting in the row behind Cosmo and Mona at the Metropolitan opera house (she's the attractive red-haired lady who is smiling).

Question: When Grandpa is walking his dogs, you can hear a boy say, "Keep your dogs off my lawn," then laughs. You hear his laugh again in the beauty salon. What was that about?

Answer: The laugh does seem out of place because it sounds more like kids than the ladies at the salon. But it didn't sound like the same laugh to me. But it does sound like the same person recorded both laughs. It also seems like the kid's line was added after filming the shot. So it wouldn't surprise me if an adult (perhaps one of the production sound mixers) recorded a couple different lines and laughs in a pretend kid's voice. Then one of those laughs was added.

Answer: I tried to find a clip of these scenes but didn't find exactly what you're referring to. If it was the exact same laugh that was heard, it may be a sound effect added to the film during the post-production editing. Foley artists add all types of sound effects to movies, including laughs, groans, coughs, etc. Sometimes one particular sound gets used more than once. One famous example of a repeated sound is the "Wilhelm" scream. This particular scream has become a tradition that many editors add to movies.
