Letters to Juliet

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Sophie is first walking out of the New Yorker building, her shirt is tucked in in the first shot, in the second it is untucked, and in the third it is tucked in again.

Continuity mistake: Sophie and Charlie are walking down a very steep street talking. Two female extras walk past them going uphill. Sophie and Charlie exit the small street and enter a piazza where the same two female extras walk past them again even though they have already passed by and should be up the steep street somewhere.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Sophie, Charlie, and Claire are eating dinner, Claire goes to bed and leaves Sophie and Charlie at the dinner table. In one shot Sophie takes a sip of her wine and there is only a sip left. The next shot of her sipping her wine it is a quarter of the way full.

Continuity mistake: As Sophie walks along a street on her first day in Verona, she has a purse hanging from her right shoulder. In one scene, the purse has moved to her left shoulder, then it is back on her right shoulder.

Other mistake: As Sophie and Charlie walk through the town square, chime bells ring four times, but the clock shows the time as 3:50.

Sophie: That's so romantic.
Charlie: What's so romantic about eating in the dirt?
