Question: Why were the dolls sent out after the scientist made them? Why didn't they stay with the scientist so he could explain everything?

YellowBird

Answer: They were sent out into the world to create a new world for themselves. Every time the scientist created a doll, he transferred part of his soul into the doll bringing it to life but leaving him weaker. After creating 9 and transferring the piece of his soul into 9, he died so they would never have found out what they were created for.

Question: I get that 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 9's personalities came from the scientist. But I heavily doubt that 2's personality came from the scientist? What does 2 symbolize?

YellowBird

Answer: 2 represents the kindly old scientist's creative and genius side. He is fascinated by garbage and scrap and explores the wastelands searching for items to use for his inventions.

Question: It was shown after 9 woke up, he lacked a voice box, which 2 had to make for him. But how did the other Stitchpunks (minus 3 and 4) get their own voices?

Answer: The inventor did, he died before he could finish.

Continuity mistake: During the funeral scene for 2, a tunnel with steel bars is seen in the background, with none of the bars broken. When the camera angle reverses once 2 has floated into the tunnel, one of the steel bars is broken.

Trivia: The Chancellor mentioned by the scientist and shown in the old archive footage appears to be a reference to Adolf Hitler, the fascist dictator of Germany from 1933 through 1945. Hitler held the title of Chancellor of Germany, until he gave himself the new title of Fuhrer. When standing in the car in what appears to be a parade, The Chancellor lifts his hand in a motion similar to that of The Hitler/Nazi Salute. The flags and banners shown on the wall when The Chancellor announces the creation of The Machine are similar to the Swastika Flag of the Nazi Party. Finally, when the Chancellor takes The Machine away from The Scientist, the soldiers who take The Scientist away resemble SS Officers (Hitler's Secret Police Force) in uniform and actions.
