After having an argument with Em, James confesses to Lisa P. that Em is having an affair with the musician. James tells Lisa not to tell anyone, but, the next day at the park, Em hears everyone whispering about her affair with the musician. Em realizes that James told everyone and quits. When James finds out that Em quit, he confronts Lisa and she admits that she told everyone. James goes to Em's apartment in New York and waits for her. Em shows up and James apologizes. Em invites him in and they start to have sex as the film ends.
