Love and Basketball

Continuity mistake: When Monica gets out of her car after her first day at the bank, she stumbles over her shoes. She takes them off, talks to Q for awhile, and then heads into the house. Watch as she rounds the corner to the house (right when she gets to the hedges, watch carefully because she walks around the hedges fast) you can clearly see that she does in fact have her shoes on, without her putting them back on. She didn't even bend down like she should if she were putting them back on.

Continuity mistake: Near the end of the movie, when Monica and Quincy are playing one on one, Monica is at one point wearing just a Nike sports bra. In one shot there is a Nike symbol near the strap and in the next shot it is gone. It reappears in the following shot.

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie when Monica and Quincy were riding bikes to school, Monica had three yellow hair bows in her head. When they came from the kissing scene, she only had two hair bows on. But when they started to fight, she had three hair bows again.

Factual error: Female college basketball players are wearing uniform numbers 9 and 17. Not possible, since the NCAA prohibits players from wearing numbers ending in digits higher than 5.

Continuity mistake: After Monica comes home from Spain and has talked to Quincy, she goes home and takes her picture and poster of Quincy off the wall. In repeated shots afterward, the picture and poster are both still on the wall. (01:40:57)

Continuity mistake: When Quincy is giving Monica a ride home after his basketball game, they are talking about how Quincy pushed Monica when they were younger while he was about to lose in a basketball game. She points to a scar on the left side of her chin with her left hand, and in the next shot, she is using her right hand to point at the scar.

Continuity mistake: In the beginning it shows the girl that has number 32 on her shoes, jersey, and gold chain, but when it shows her the next time the gold chain is gone.

Continuity mistake: At the beginning while Monica is playing basketball with the kids, the sun changes between shots.

Quincy: All's fair in love and basketball.
