Factual error: When the crooks are on their getaway from the bank raid in the hearse, you can see 1960s cars through the back window when this scene was set in 1950.

Continuity mistake: When the crooks are climbing over the wall into the police station yard, when they are on the pavement, the ladder dosen't reach the top of the wall. But when seen from inside the police station yard, it reaches above the wall and looks like a different ladder.

Factual error: During the chase between the police car and the funeral cars, which is set in 1950, cars can be seen in the background that were made well after 1950.

Factual error: When we first see the bank that the gang are going to rob there are two cars that can be seen that started production after 1950 when this sequence was set, they are the Austin Somerset(1952) and the Austin Cambridge(1956).

Factual error: On the day before the big job, George brain ticks off tomorrow's date on the calendar: it is in March 1950. But some of the newspaper reports about the big job are dated February 1950.
