Corrected entry: When Edward takes Bella to meet his family, it shows them cooking for her. They all look up, and Rosalie says, "Get a whiff of that" and then Esme says, "Here comes the human!" But Esme's mouth doesn't move: she just keeps smiling. It doesn't sound like Rosalie talking, so it has to be Esme that said it, but her mouth doesn't move from a smile. (01:04:40)

Correction: If you listen carefully, it's Rosalie saying both: "Get a whiff of that, " and, "Here comes the human." The voice matches Rosalie, as Esme's voice is much deeper than Rosalie's. It would also be completely out of character for Esme to refer to Bella as "The Human." Rosalie is known for continuously referring to Bella as "The Human" in a snide manner throughout both the books and the films, whereas Esme uses kinder nicknames (like dear, sweetheart and darling) as a way to make Bella feel welcome, like she belongs with them. Of course, Rosalie is always trying to do the opposite, and make Bella feel unwelcome, hence her saying "The Human" versus using her actual name.

Corrected entry: When Bella "slips" on the ice, where she actually slipped, there is no ice.

Correction: You don't have to see ice for it to be there. I live in the same part of the country where the story takes place. It rains a lot here and the temperatures can then drop into freezing. Wet pavement develops a thin layer of ice over it that is nearly invisible. It makes driving and walking extremely hazardous because it is hard to see. This is sometimes called "black" ice.

Corrected entry: In the last scene with Victoria, she's looking through the window at Bella and Edward at the prom. But if they were at such close proximity, Edward should have heard Victoria's thoughts, as he does near the end of Twilight: Eclipse.

Correction: Edward can hear thoughts of people around him, yes. But they were at a dance with hundreds of kids, so she was simply lost in the cacophony.

Corrected entry: When they go on the school trip, Bella, Edward, Alice, and Bella's friends are there. They are all juniors. But Jasper is there and he is a senior. This couldn't even be a mixed trip, because Emmett and Rosalie aren't there.

Correction: In the movies, Jasper is the same grade as Alice. In the books, he is a year ahead of her. So in the movies you see Jasper with them in school. He is on the field trip, he is at school with Alice saying happy birthday in New Moon, he is at the cafeteria table when Alice has her vision in Eclipse as well as being at graduation with Alice. It was just a screen writer/director decision that is different from the book.

Also, in some high schools that do non-mandatory field trips, if a spot opens up a classmate can request to bring a student from another class, so even if he hadn't been bumped back a year for the movies, he would have been able to go on said trip. I don't believe the character of Jasper would spend a day at high school without Alice there.

Corrected entry: When Tyler's van comes skidding towards Bella, she is standing up against her truck. When Edward races next to her, she is crouching.

Correction: Because Edward pushes Bella out of the way and to the ground, causing her to be in that position. (he has his arm around her waist to support her).

Corrected entry: Edward Cullen has a consistent accent in the beginning of the movie while in biology class, but does not have an accent for the rest of the movie (or series).

Correction: I would have to disagree that Edward has an "accent." When he first talks to Bella in biology class, he's struggling with his overwhelming desire for her blood, so his speech is a bit strained and deliberate as he attempts to control himself. Bella affected him so much that he was absent from class for about a week. He gradually becomes more comfortable around her and is able to talk more normally.

Corrected entry: During the baseball scene, when Carlisle is up to bat, he points his bat forward and in the background you can see Esme, Rosalie, Jasper and quite obviously Kristen Stewart's double with her hat pulled down low to cover her eyes. You can see it is a different person because her chin is quite square and Kristen's is very pointed. (01:17:05)

Jennifer 1

Correction: Actually, that's not supposed to be Bella at all, but Esme. You'll notice towards the beginning of the scene that, while Esme is wearing the solid white shirt that the actor in question appears in, Bella is wearing a dark brown jacket with a white collar, unzipped at the front.

Corrected entry: In the first biology lesson, Bella walks past the fan, and Edward's papers fly up. If the fan was in his direction anyway, his papers would have been flying up before Bella arrived.

Correction: The fan oscillates if you watch.

Corrected entry: In the scene Edward comes into Bella's room and kisses her, Bella is at first wearing sweatpants. Then she is wearing shorts instead when they kiss.

Correction: Actually, Bella can be seen wearing shorts at the beginning of the scene which is at 1:13:53. You can see a part of her leg, so she is not wearing sweatpants.

Corrected entry: The way the house is set up when Bella is talking to her dad about going to play baseball with Edward is off. The kitchen table is no longer pushed up against the wall, and the front entry doorway enters to the living room, instead of a hallway, like in the scene where Bella comes home and slams the door.

Correction: There is both a dining room and a kitchen in the Swan's house. If you make an left immediately after coming in the front door, you turn into the kitchen. If, however, you were to walk straight forward into the livingroom and then turn left you would end up in the diningroom. The kitchen and diningroom are side by side, and they each have a table.

Corrected entry: In the scene at the hospital near the end of the movie, when Bella regains consciousness, she has flashbacks as her mother talks to her. But if you look over her mother's right shoulder (from Bella's perspective), you will see a television; showing the scenes containing the destruction of James and Bella tumbling down a flight of stairs, which are being played in a loop so that they could simply switch to a second camera to capture the flashback scenes.

blooper blunder

Correction: This wasn't a mistake. They do this intentionally throughout the film. If you look closely at the rest of a room, a picture hanging on the hospital wall, is of the ballet studio, and there is a picture in Bella's room of a wolf, hinting at Jacob. Also, that television in the hospital shows clips of the home video of Bella when she is little. These are some hidden jabs and nods at the audience, and for people to pick out, not mistakes.

Corrected entry: In the Dance Studio, there is a point where James rams Edward's head into the mirrors, shattering the surface. However, Edward's reflection on the shattered surface remains intact, instead of being a fractured reflection, as would have been the case when a mirror shatters. (01:34:25)

Correction: This doesn't have to be a mistake. The glass in the mirror might shatter but stay in place, thus not fracture the image that much.

Corrected entry: When Edward jumps out of the window, he drags a tree with him, but he isn't very close to it. Also when Edward jumps, he stays level to the ground. Just because he is a vampire it never means that he can disobey the laws of gravity. (01:09:25)

Correction: So who made you the expert on vampires? They seem to disobey nature laws all the time; they don't age, go at superhuman speeds (or even faster) stop sliding cars by hand, just to name a few.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Bella is talking to Edward just after she comes out of the doctor's office (when Edward, Carlisle and Rosalie are talking), you can very faintly see the rims of her contact lenses. I'm watching on Blu-Ray which makes it more noticeable).

Correction: How is this a mistake? Lots of people wear contact lenses.

Corrected entry: During the baseball scene, Carlisle's scarf changes from plain gray to gray and black striped. It also goes from hanging loose to wound around his neck, then back to hanging loose.

Correction: THis is not true. THe second part is true, but the first part isn't. It just seems grey because the camera is not focused on him and the colours blur together.

Corrected entry: When Bella is in the hospital and she looks for Edward, he has his head tilted to the right. When they show him again, he has his head to the left.

Correction: In the moment that the camera is off him, there's plenty of time for even a normal person to tip their head to the other side, much less a vampire who moves at lightning speed.

White Lock

Corrected entry: In the baseball scene, Alice and Esme are wearing baseball caps that visibly have a C for Cullen on them. Rosalie is wearing a baseball cap too. But why does Rosalie's cap have a G on it instead of a C?

Correction: This isn't trivia, it's a question. Rosalie's last name is Hale, so if there's not a C then one would think it'd be an H.

Corrected entry: In the hospital scene towards the conclusion of the movie, Bella's nasogastric feeding tube isn't taped to her nose properly. As it dangles out of her nose, it is clear that the prop does not have the tubes going through her esophagus and into her stomach, as a real tube would. This misstep has actually led some people to assume it is some sort of breathing apparatus, which it is not. .

Correction: IT IS a nasal cannula delivering oxygen. It is NOT a nasogastric tube to empty the contents of her stomach.

Corrected entry: When Jacob Black comes to Bella's house with Billy Black, Edward Cullen had just fixed the front side of Bella's car. Jacob Black can quickly see the fix, though it is obscured by Bella standing in the way, and also he seems to be checking out the back side of the car.

Correction: The dented part of the truck was actually over the back tire. That's why Jacob was looking in that direction.

Corrected entry: In the cafeteria scene when Edward is not at school, Bella looks over to the Cullens' table. If you observe Rosalie extremely carefully, she takes something to her mouth and eats it as if she were human. She is a vampire, and she is not meant to eat anything. It happens again sometimes in other scenes. (00:14:40)

Correction: It's not that they can't eat our food. They just typically don't. But they will do it from time to time to appear to fit in. Edward even does it in the book to prove the point to Bella. So while they don't have to eat normal food, it's not a mistake if they appear to.

Corrected entry: When Bella is asking Edward how he knew where she was in the restaurant, you can see the outline of her brown contacts.

Correction: Nothing in the movie ever reveals that the character of Bella doesn't wear contacts. Bella could easily wear contacts herself.

Corrected entry: It is explained in the second movie, the whole treaty between the Cullens and the wolves. If one of the Cullens bites a human, the treaty is off and the wolves can attack the Cullens. That treaty was forged generations ago, so why was the treaty not off when Dr. Cullen bit all of his "children"?

Correction: Carlisle only bit Esme, Edward, Rosalie and Emmett, and THAT was all before the treaty was made. He hadn't bitten anyone since. Alice and Jasper were created by other vampires and joined with the Cullen family after they had left Forks the first time.

Corrected entry: Early in the movie, Bella is sat around the table with her friends as they teasingly say, "My girlfriend!" Then one of the boys runs up behind her and kisses her on the cheek. If you watch Bella's reaction, she barely even flinches. She has only been a student at the school a short time. Don't you think this is an odd under reaction for someone who has just had wet lips of a total stranger pressed on them from behind?

Correction: Matter of opinion. Everyone has their own personality and their own reactions to social situations. Her reaction is no more a mistake than is the guy kissing her in the first place.

Corrected entry: In the Ballet Studio, when James bites Bella's left arm, there is nothing on it, but, when Edward is sucking the venom out, there is a bracelet. Look at her arm when James bites it, then you'll first notice it just after Edward throws James against the mirror. (01:38:50 - 01:41:15)

Correction: Have another look. Bella is indeed wearing the narrow silver cuff bracelet (open back with two ends) when James bites her. As her palm is facing up, one end of the cuff bracelet is beside his mouth and the other end is visible beside his ring finger. The cuff bracelet may be easy to miss because the open back is at the center of her wrist, and it's rather dimly lit.

Corrected entry: When Bella asks Edward to pull over to discover that her dad's cruiser is still at the police station due to Waylon's death, Edward turns his wheel to the left when, it's a right turn.

Correction: Edward is making a right turn on the road when they spot the flashing police lights (you can tell the car is rounding a corner). This would place the police station on their left once they completed the turn. It is after this right turn that Bella asks Edward to pull in to the station. At this point, the station IS on the left, so his turning the wheel that way would not be a mistake.

Corrected entry: In the baseball scene when Edward Cullen is in the field, the first hit goes far into the forest at an incredible velocity. Edwards gets the ball and throws it back. Carlisle takes a swing and the ball seems to fly at an equal speed (maybe even faster considered he's the oldest and strongest in the family). Edward and Emmett jumps up to catch the ball but collide midair and fall to the ground. When filming the two brothers on the ground, the ball for some reason drops only a few feet behind them. Not exactly coherent laws of physics.

Correction: Carlisle is not the strongest, Emmett is, and there's no guarantee he hit it at the same angle and rate that Edward did on his hit. Much like mortal baseball, just because the ball seems to be going as fast doesn't mean it is, and the angle, wind, etc, all affect how it travels. Edward and Emmett colliding has the ability in and of itself to change the atmosphere around them, changing the ball's velocity.

White Lock

Corrected entry: In the lab scene, the stuffed bird behind Edward moves several times between shots.

Correction: The bird does not actually move, the camera angle just changes several times.

Corrected entry: In the beginning of the movie, you see a plane flying out. Assuming Bella is on this plane, Charlie would have picked her up from an airport. When Charlie takes Bella's bags out of the car trunk, there are no airline tags on her baggage.

Correction: Much can be done offscreen. The tags could have simply been removed and chucked in the garbage, on their way out to the parking lot.

Corrected entry: During the prom scene, when Edward and Bella are walking in, it shows Victoria playing a game before it shows her watching Edward and Bella dancing outside in the promenade. She's got the same hair, fur shawl, dress, and necklace as she does when she's watching them dance.

Correction: How is this a mistake? She arrived before them, awaiting their arrival.

Corrected entry: In the baseball scene, when Edward and Emmett run towards each other to catch the ball, Emmett very obviously jumps on a trampoline just before he and Edward collide.

Correction: Unless you can see a trampoline (which you can't), this isn't a mistake. The vampires in these stories are different than any others and most significantly, they move like no other, including jumping and moving forward with amazing speed.

Corrected entry: To cleanse Bella's blood, Edward sucks and drinks Bella's blood, but later in the hospital his eyes aren't red. Earlier in the film it is stated that drinking human blood makes vampires' eyes turn red.

Correction: When *regularly* drinking human blood, not the three pints or so from a 5ft 5 - 5ft 7 girl. This is also confirmed in the book of the series Breakign Dawn, (SPOILER WARNING) when Bella's eyes are red it states that her eyes will remain red and eventually dilute because most of the blood in her system is still her own human blood. Meaning that human blood has to be regularly drank to maintain the red eye colour.

Corrected entry: Bella's hair is tied back in a ponytail throughout the entire baseball scene. When Laurent, James & Victoria enter, Bella's hair is suddenly loose.

Correction: Edward tells Bella to put her hair down so she is less recognizable as a human, when the three nomad vampires enter the baseball clearing. Not a movie mistake.

Corrected entry: When Bella is in the hospital (after her encounter with James) her mother comes in and explains what happened. She says that Bella had fallen down two flights of stairs and went through a window, which explains all of her concussions except for the bite mark on her arm. You can tell that people knew that there was a bite mark on her arm because it was all bandaged up.

Correction: Bella's mother was informed of a fictional account of what happened to Bella. Having a bandage on her arm doesn't interfere or contradict the story that she fell down the stairs.

Corrected entry: During the Volleyball scene on Bella's first day, when she hits Mike Newton's head, look closely, in the background a little girl runs across the court, she must be about 8. In high school? Perhaps one of the crew's kid?

Correction: Or a child that lives very near the school that happened by? Or is visiting the school of her teen sibling with a parent who is occupied inside and left her to play outside? The film doesn't indicate the child IS a student there, and a child in the area isn't a mistake all by itself.

Corrected entry: When Bella and Edward are in the forest, Edward unbuttons his shirt to show Bella what he looks like in the sun, but when Bella follows him after he leaves the sun spot in the next scene, his shirt is buttoned.

Correction: It has been shown that these vampires move at incredible speeds. He could have rebuttoned it.

Corrected entry: When Bella gets Rosalie out during the softball game, look at Carlisle behind them, its so not him, must be his double. (01:17:00)

Correction: I have watched this scene and as far as i can tell it is the actor in the backround. Why would there be any need of a stunt double when he is simply in the background cheering on Rosalie for the home run?

Corrected entry: In the scene when we see Bella leaning on the hood of her car waiting for Edward to show up so that she can confront him, we see Jasper and Rosalie pull up in their cars. Between the wide shot and the closeup you can see that Rosalie opens the door of her red car twice. (00:13:20)

Hamster Premium member

Correction: Actually it looks as if she just opens the door, but doesn't push it open, and then in the next shoot she opens it all the way.

Corrected entry: In the scene after Bella tells Edward she trusts him, he jumps into a tree, explains about his family's hunting habits, then hangs off of one of the branches. In the first shot of his position, he has both hands up on branches on either side of his arm. In the next shot, one arm is at his side and the other is up on the branch. Then in the next shot, both hands are back on the branches on either side of him.

Correction: Vampires move very quickly. Edward could be trying to scare Bella. That is why he moves like this on the branch.

Corrected entry: When Edward saves Bella from the almost car crash, he pushes the van away. On the underside of the van, there is a little wheel, which obviously helped push it.

Correction: I've looked at this multiple times and still don't see the wheel, nor do I see it in flashbacks. When exactly and where do you see it?

Corrected entry: When Alice asks Bella if she'll be riding with the Cullens, Edward says the bus is full and steps inside, but when the camera faces Alice, Edward steps inside again.

Correction: No, he moves forward to "hit" the door so the driver will open it, and then he moves forward to enter the bus.

Corrected entry: When Bella is talking to Edward at the salad bar, Edward puts his hand on the top of the bar for a second. In this shot, you can see sweat marks under his arm, though vampires don't sweat.

Correction: We are never told in the movie that vampires do not sweat. And it has been speculated that vampires may get flushed skin under certain circumstances, perhaps Ed is 'sweating' because he's nervous around Bella?

Corrected entry: In the baseball scene where the Nomads challenge the Cullens for a game, Carlisle throws the ball at Laurent, but Victoria catches it. Jasper and Emmett laugh at her remark about handling her wicked curve ball. You see her holding a plastic clear ball used for the CG department, which then added in the image later.

Correction: I've watched the movie several times and you can only see the baseball. In the extras you see them catching the clear ball, but not in the movie.

Corrected entry: When Victoria is at Bella's prom, she should have massacred everyone. (Edward says in the movie, 'When we taste human blood, it starts a frenzy.')

Correction: Corrected several times already. Obviously, vampires CAN control themselves when they wish to. Victoria was there to observe Bella and plot her revenge for James' death. She wasn't there to "start a massacre."

Brenda Elzin

Corrected entry: When Bella is in the hospital after the vampire attack, it shows her face and one minute the nose thing is on top of her eyebrow, then it shows another view and it's in the spot it should be in. Then it changes again and it's back on her eyebrow. It keeps going back and forth.

Correction: The nasal cannula mistake has already been noted and submitted. Several times.

Corrected entry: In the scene in the garage when Edward is trying to get Bella away from James, Edward tosses Bella's jacket to Rosalie. The first shot, Rosalie is sitting on the counter next to where Carlise is taking things from a cabinet. On the wider shot, Rosalie is standing without allowing enough time to for her to have changed positions.

Correction: The whole moving extremely fast issue has been addressed here many times. These vampires move with such inhuman speed, it cannot be seen. The whole family is on alert and is getting ready to flee. Everyone except Edward and Bella moves significantly during this scene.

Brenda Elzin

Corrected entry: In the ballet studio, when James pulls out the video camera for the first time and James and Bella are talking, when Bella says, "Edward has nothing to do with this," right before that her mouth moves, but she isn't saying anything.

Correction: The audio matches her words. The mouth movement prior to that line was her mouth stammering from her terror at being confronted by James. This isn't a mistake.

Brenda Elzin

Corrected entry: When Edward is talking under the trees in the rain (getting very wet, then totally dry), he also manages to changes clothes in between. In the rain he is wearing exactly the same outfit as in the scene when he jumps down on the car that Bella is washing (when the blue bucket disappears), and then he is back in the grey jacket and dark shirt.

Correction: Corrected twice already - this is a compilation of several days and several scenes, hence the change in clothing.

Brenda Elzin

Corrected entry: When Edward and Bella are talking about Carlisle, in the first part when they show Edward in 1918, Edward (in the present) is talking to Bella and he is wet because of the rain, and then when they show Esme being transformed, Edward is completely dry. (00:59:35 - 01:00:05)

Correction: Those two conversations take place on different days. You can see by the different clothes they wear that it's showing the passage of time.

Corrected entry: When Edward rescues Bella in Port Angeles, the license plates on his car don't match. Washington is on the front and Oregon is on the rear. (00:39:55)

Correction: The plates that are Oregon plates belong to the car that Edward cut off when he spun onto the street. Both of his plates are indeed Washington.

Corrected entry: During the first biology scene, the planaria switches positions with each shot. The last shot it is moved back to where it started.

Correction: This is intentional. The shots are not subsequent - it is a montage of a few shots, showing the various stages during the lesson, to emphasize how long and uncomfortable it is for Bella to be sitting next to Edward with the way he was treating her and glaring at her. Therefore the items, including the planaria, are not in the same position in each shot.

Corrected entry: Vampire hair doesn't grow, but in the beginning of the movie, Edward's hair is short and above his ears a bit. Throughout the course of the film, it becomes longer and fuller and then short again. Note: look at his hair length before they enter the restaurant.

Correction: No-where in the film (or in the books for that matter) does it mention that vampire hair doesn't grow. This is an assumption that comes from other vampire films and books.

Corrected entry: In Charlie's kitchen, when Bella and Charlie are briefly discussing Rene and Phil, Bella kind of chuckles and mumbles and then leaves the kitchen. Charlie then says, "Alright" however his mouth never moves.

Correction: "Alright" can be said without any visible movement. He also does this a lot in the movie.

Corrected entry: On Bella's first day of school in the cafeteria, Mike sits down beside her and when Tyler pulls the chair out from under Mike it is thrown several feet away from the table. Mike chases after Tyler. Then, Jessica makes a comment about Bella being a shiny new toy and slides over into the chair that should no longer be there.

Correction: Jessica does not sit down into this chair. She slides her own chair (the one she is already sitting in) over to the empty space next to Bella.

Corrected entry: When Edward drops Bella off at the prom - she sits on the bench and Jacob approaches her. Edward first begins to walk off in front of the car and in the next shot he is driving it away.

Correction: It's not a mistake, there's just a short time lapse. Edward is already in the car when Jacob appears. You can hear the car driving away as Jacob says, "hi" to Bella.

Corrected entry: When Jessica says Bella invited Edward, Embry is without a sweet, but when Ben asks, "What?" Embry is chewing on a sweet. Then when Mike says that the Cullens are freaks, once again Embry is without a sweet. (00:33:00)

Correction: He put a sweet in his mouth and then swallowed it.

Corrected entry: In the prom scenes, when Bella and Edward are walking into the prom, there are numerous shots of people dancing. In one particular shot, Victoria can be seen standing in front of a big game wheel which is part of the Monte Carlo theme. Wouldn't Edward somehow have sensed that she was near?

Correction: No. Edward can hear thoughts, not "sense" the presence of individuals. There's a room full of people whose thoughts and voices are drowning out Victoria's thoughts.

Corrected entry: On the field trip to the greenhouse, Bella doesn't have her coat on, but as she is leaving the greenhouse she has her coat on.

Correction: She's wearing it before - perfectly plausible that she simply removed it in the humid environment, then put it back on when she left.

Corrected entry: In the ballet studio scene, where the heck did the lights come from? It's night and there's no way that it is the moon's light. It's bright just like a sun's light.

Correction: Actually, some of the windows remain dark, indicating that it's night. The light streaming in the other windows is apparently from outside street illumination. True, it's brighter than it normally would be, and that appears to be deliberate artistic license on the filmmakers part to set the scene, but it is not sunlight.

Corrected entry: In the cafeteria after Edward picks up the apple, when he's asking Bella 'what if he's the bad guy' his ear is reddened flesh colored as if he just came in from the cold, not white like the rest of his face.

Correction: Vampires have blood, and it is stated in the book that they can appear "flushed" under certain physical or emotional conditions. At first, Edward is very nervous when he is near Bella.

Corrected entry: At the beginning, when Charlie and Bella are walking into the house and just about to go up the stairs, if you look at the upper right of the screen towards the living room, you can see presumably a crew member standing there, as no-one else is meant to be in the house.

Correction: It's just a jacket hanging on the back of a door.

Corrected entry: When you first see Charlie's house, there is a truck parked in the driveway. When he is unloading Bella's bags from the cruiser's trunk, the truck is gone.

Correction: It's there, just out of shot - we see the back end of it very briefly.

Corrected entry: When Edward and Bella are at the top of the forest/mountain, lying beside each other, Edward is wearing a shirt without any pockets. Then, as the sun is shining on both of them, he is wearing a shirt with a pocket.

Correction: It's the same shirt with pockets throughout the entire scene, so look closely, use zoom if necessary, and you can see the pocket the entire time.

Corrected entry: When Charlie gets Bella new tires, he walks to his car, says something and then ducks into the car. When Bella thanks him for the new tires, he's standing straight up and then ducks back into the car for a second time.

Correction: No, he stood back up so he wouldn't look like he was ignoring her, THEN sat back down.

Corrected entry: In the baseball scene, when Jasper hits the ball and runs, you see Carlisle run to third base. But when Rosalie hits the second time, Carlisle runs again to third base.

Correction: Already submitted and corrected. This is a common occurrence in baseball. It's called "stealing third" and Carlisle failed.

Corrected entry: During the baseball scene, Rosalie slides into home and Bella calls her out. The next frame shows Emmett saying "Out!" but he makes the gesture for safe.

Corrected entry: When they drive up to the baseball field, they are facing the field when they park, but when they get in to leave, the jeep is already turned around.

Corrected entry: When Bella and Edward arrive at the prom, if you look closely, Victoria can be seen in the background. She's standing at the roulette wheel - her red hair in a bun and she is wearing a white fur.

Correction: How is that a mistake that she is at the prom? Victoria is checking where Edward and Bella are because she has vengeance on her mind, so it would make sense that she is hiding at the prom to spy on them.

Tricia Webster Premium member

Corrected entry: In the book, before the baseball scene, Edward parks Emmett's jeep outside of the forest and they run the rest of the way so that when the Nomads turn up, there is no time to run back to the car. In the movie, they park the jeep in the same field on which they play baseball, which they would be able to reach easily in a few seconds. Carlisle says there's no time, when really there is time to get back to the car.

Correction: Once again, because the vampires moves so extremely fast, once the Nomadics know of the Cullens' group, it's too late to flee. Not a mistake.

Brenda Elzin

Corrected entry: In the baseball scene when James realises Bella is a human and the Nomadics and Cullens run into a defensive group stance, Edward is located at the bottom left of the shot. When the camera changes angle he is now at the back of the group.

Correction: The Cullens, as vampires, move extremely fast. Edward moved again to be closer to Bella. Not a mistake.

Corrected entry: In the first segment of the scene where Edward tells Bella that he was changed first, then Esme, it's raining and they are wet. After the cut scene showing Carlisle changing Esme, it's no longer raining and Edward and Bella are dry.

Correction: Wrong. Note the passage of time; they have changed clothes and location.

Corrected entry: Bella tells Mike she won't be able to go to prom because she has a non-refundable ticket to Florida. (In the book there are two dances, and she declines everyone's invitation to attend the first one, and Edward takes her to prom by surprise.) In the movie, nobody questions why she suddenly is able to go to prom.

Correction: How do you know no one questioned her about it and wasn't given an explanation just before the prom? And why would anyone need to ask? She is "officially" with Edward now, and she is going because he wants to take her. Bella also just had a serious accident and broke her leg. That alone is sufficient reason for her to have cancelled or postponed her (fake) trip to Florida.

Corrected entry: During the "complication" scene, when Billy and Jacob arrive and Edward leaves, we can see Billy behind the wheel. How is that possible? He has to sit in a wheelchair, because he is unable to walk or use his legs otherwise.

Correction: The car could have been modified so that the vehicle can be driven by a person in a wheelchair. Billy's hands are not affected so the car may have modifications to allow him to drive the vehicle.

Corrected entry: In some scenes, you can notice Edward blushing or colour in his face. Vampires are meant to have pale white faces.

Correction: This issue has been addressed several times on the site now. It is stated in the books that although Edward's skin is pale, he (and presumably other vampires) is capable of appearing flushed under certain circumstances; there's nothing in the movie that contradicts this. Can this be dropped now?

Corrected entry: Edward hasn't been at school after meeting Bella for the first time. During the lunch scene, Rosalee is seen putting a carrot into her mouth. She doesn't eat. (00:14:45)

Correction: How is that a mistake? It's been pointed out several times here already that the Cullens only give the "appearance" that they eat normally to avoid suspicion. At school, the "siblings" always have food on their trays at lunchtime. They either nibble at it, or just go through the motions of eating, such as Rosalie is doing by putting a carrot in her mouth. The food is either un-chewed and un-swallowed and then removed discretely, or, if it is eaten, it is "voided" later (vampire bulimia).

Corrected entry: When Charlie takes Bella up to her bedroom at the beginning of the movie, you can see a thick black microphone wire running from Bella's jeans up her shirt. They are not her iPod wires, as we see on other occasions she has the regular white iPod earphones.

Correction: I watched this through and couldn't see any wire - can you clarify what shot the wire's visible in?

Corrected entry: When Edward is running up the mountain at full speed with Bella on his back, Bella's hair falls flat on her back yet would surely be blown backwards.

Hamster Premium member

Correction: When Edward starts to run, they show the two of them at a side angle and Bella's hair is blowing quite a bit. Then they show it from a front/diagonal-type angle and you can still see the tips of her hair blowing behind her head.

Corrected entry: Make up flaw: After Edward 'sparkles' and is telling Bella about his special diet while sitting in the tree, the palms of his hands are blood red with cold or from the lack of makeup. (00:54:25)

Correction: It is noted in the books that vampires do have blood and that their pale skin can appear flushed under varying circumstances, like physical exertion. The film does not contradict this, and Edward's hands could have been affected by having just climbed the tall tree.

Corrected entry: Right on the first scene, you can see that Bella is wearing a blue long sleeved blouse inside her green plaid polo. That plaid polo changes into a jersey shirt with the same blue blouse on her first day at school. Then, at the scene where they had a field trip, she wears the same blue blouse under her polo again. And wears it again on the meadow scene. The next day from this meadow scene, the scene where she realizes that she's in love with Edward, she still wears the same blue blouse, even when they got to school and the scene after that.

Correction: How is this a mistake? She's simply wearing the same clothes more than once. Everyone repeats outfit combinations.

Corrected entry: When Bella is in the hospital talking to her mom, the T.V. behind her is playing in the background. The Cullens told her mom and dad that she fell down stairs, but in the T.V. behind her, you can see the fire and the Cullens ripping James up and throwing him in there, and you can see Bella pulling the glass out of her leg and you can see Edward really flying into the window. (02:04:05)

Correction: This is not a mistake - it's how the scene is supposed to present itself (and how the book was written, deliberately). Mom doesn't want to know too many details and believes the Cullens because they are so charismatic and convincingly "sold" mom on the stairs story. Mom just wants to know Bella will be ok.

Corrected entry: In the outdoor scene where Edward explains how Carlisle changed them, the scene goes from it being cloudy, to pouring rain, and finally to them being completely dry, as if the rain never happened. (00:58:55)

Correction: This scene is actually different days/moments that Edward and Bella are discussing their lives in an attempt to show the depth of their relationship, if you look closely they have different clothes on.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Edward was bitten by his father he was bit on the right side when the mark is on the left.

Correction: The mark on the left side of Edward's neck is a birthmark, and not a bite mark.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Edward pops the ding out of Bella's truck, he has first jumped onto the roof of the truck and startled her. After they talk, he leaves, and gets in his car which is right next to her truck, so she would have seen him drive up.

Correction: I thought she was being surprised that he jumped on her car. Not a very "human" thing to do.

Corrected entry: When Edward and Bella are talking in the forest after he has shown her what he looks like in sunlight, his ears are red from the cold. As vampires are already cold, his ears wouldn't change colour.

Correction: In the book, Bella comments to Edward that he still looks "flushed" from his previous day’s hunting. There’s nothing in the movie to contradict that environmental factors such as cold weather, physical exertion, and even emotions can cause slight color variations in a vampire’s skin.

raywest Premium member

Corrected entry: In the very last scene where Edward & Bella are at the prom and he kisses her neck, you can see that Bella is whiter than Edward, when Edward should be unbelievably white.

Correction: Spoiler alert: The books mention a number of times about how exceptionally pale Bella's skin is, even when she first moves from sunny Phoenix. This (and a few other characteristics) appears to foreshadow her eventually becoming a vampire.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Bella is being attacked after the bookstore, there are two people in the background. Later there are four attackers. Who are the other people?

Correction: The two other people were a young couple. They seemed rather absorbed with one another romantically and had probably moved on without noticing that Bella was in trouble.

Corrected entry: On Bella's first day at Forks High, the class sequence goes Gym, lunch and Biology. On the day Edward returns to school, Bella walks into Biology and Mike says hello, dripping rain on her from a hat as though it's first period. She would have already seen him in gym and lunch, and she would have seen Edward at lunch. (00:06:50 - 00:16:20)

Correction: It could have rained in between classes. Maybe Mike came to school late that day. Also some schools have rotating periods that changed throughout the week.

Corrected entry: When Taylor tells the story of the Cullens, the flashback shows Carlisle, Edward, Emmett and Rosalie. Where is Esme then? Edward explained to Bella that Carlisle first turned him into a vampire before turning Esme in the movie.

Correction: So they don't show Esme. Doesn't mean she wasn't around. At any rate, in the books she becomes a vampire before Rosalie and Emmett, but no such thing is said in the films. If they decide to change that relatively minor detail that's no mistake.

Corrected entry: When Bella storms into the house after the baseball game, she says, 'Robert, I said just leave me alone.' She was meant to call him Edward, which is his character's name.

Correction: Sorry, but you are incorrect. I've listened to this at least half-a-dozen times, and Bella definitely says, "Edward," not "Robert" when she storms into the house.

Corrected entry: Vampires don't eat human food; but in the scene in the cafeteria after the greenhouse scene, the camera zooms in on Edward picking at his food. Look to his left and you will see Emmett chewing on a rice crispy treat he was playing with in the shot before. (00:29:25)

Correction: Vampires can ingest food but are unable to digest it or receive any nourishment from eating. Edward and the other Cullen kids only nibble at or pretend to eat food or leave it untouched while at school so they can appear to be (as much as possible) "normal." Anything they do eat, must be regurgitated later.

Corrected entry: In the "edible art" scene where the Twilight book cover is depicted, as Bella and Edward move around the salad bar, the clock on the wall in the background reads 7 o'clock when it is lunchtime.

Corrected entry: When Bella gets out of her car you can see a crew member on the glass window.

Correction: Which time is Bella getting out of her truck (not a car) can you see this? If it's at the school, it's certainly possible that the reflection could be a student, a teacher, or some other staff person rather than a film crew member that is reflected. How can you tell it's a crew member and not some random person standing nearby? Is he/she wearing technical gear or holding film equipment that identifies them as a crew member? Sorry, but you need to be more specific for it to qualify as a mistake.

Corrected entry: When James is tracking Bella, Edward tells Rosalie to rub the tree with Bella's coat. But then when Edward says, 'He's figured it out', Rosalie does not have Bella's coat on.

Correction: They had been running for quite a while by the time Edward knows James has figured out their diversion -- plenty of time for Rosalie to remove the jacket, which she was carrying at that point.

Corrected entry: In the first diner scene, Bella gets the ketchup for her burger but doesn't put any on.

Correction: She tries, but the squeeze bottle was empty. Which is why Charlie didn't reach for it after she put it down, even though they both wanted ketchup.

Corrected entry: When Edward pushes James into the mirrors, James doesn't have blood on the right side of his lower lip. But when Edward bites him, the blood is there. That can't be right, because vampires can't bleed.

Correction: It's never stated in the film that vampires don't bleed, so this isn't a mistake.

Corrected entry: When Bella comes downstairs to leave Charlie's house for the prom, her dress is a light purple, but once inside the prom her dress is suddenly a teal blue color.

Correction: It's the same dress, and in the DVD commentary, the actors also mention how the color looks different. Colors change with various lighting effects (indoor or outdoor) and different types of film may have been used for shooting the interior and exterior shots, which causes subtle color changes. These are not mistakes, just the by-product of filmmaking.

Corrected entry: When Edward is telling Bella about his family, it's raining, they are under a tree and he's wet. But then they aren't under the tree anymore and he is dry.

Correction: This isn't a mistake because this scene is actually taking place over a few days. If you look again you will see that their clothes also change giving the indication that it is taking place at different times.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Edward rushes in to save Bella from the truck about to crush her, he knocks her down but holds her up, then he lets go and jumps over the back of the cars. In the next scene when Bella is in the Emergency room, Carlisle says, "You hit your head," but she never did.

Correction: Edward and Carlisle both tell Bella she hit her head -- because they want her to believe the "unreal" aspects of the accident and how Edward saved her is because she hit her head. This is not a mistake.

Brenda Elzin

Corrected entry: When Edward drives Bella to school, she looks out the window and it is dark and rainy, but when they arrive at school it is a lot lighter and Edward comes out of the Volvo wearing sunglasses, stating that it is a sunny day. But this could not be possible: Edward should be sparkling.

Correction: School starts in the morning, while the sun is still rising during part of the school year. So it makes sense that it got lighter. Edward never says it's a sunny day, he's just wearing glasses. And there's no reason he shouldn't.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Edward and Bella kiss in her bedroom, when they move to the bed, you can hear a faint "OK" in the background. (01:15:55)

Correction: Stop downloading illegal copies of this DVD. The real DVD has no such sound heard in the background.

Corrected entry: After they leave Edwards house through his bedroom window and Edward asks Bells "Do you trust me", Bella's shoes and pants are muddy. They weren't muddy when they were in his bedroom.

Correction: I'd think that since they have climbed the tree and jumped out of the window at this point - on what is likely a rainy/muddy day - that her pants and shoes would definitely be muddy by the time he asks her, "Do you trust me?"

Corrected entry: In both the scenes where Edward, and the rest of the Cullen teens are sitting at the school's cafeteria, you can see them with hot dogs, salads, apples and other snacks. This contradicts the scene where Bella arrives at the Cullen's home for dinner, and it is revealed that the Cullen family never eats and is cooking for the first time. They eat stuff other than animals they hunt.

Correction: When Bella visits their home it is revealed only that they've never used their own kitchen before. It would be rather suspicious if the Cullens didn't at least keep up appearances during lunchtime.

Corrected entry: In scene where Bella and Charlie are in the restaurant, Bella and Charlie reach for the ketchup together. Charlie lets Bella get it, but none comes out.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Edward throws down food, in the background Emmett is eating something, and in the book vampires don't eat human food.

Corrected entry: When Jacob comes to the beach and sees Bella he is apparently with Quil and Embry. But in the credits, there is no Embry Call. There is a Sam Uley, but that makes no sense, since Jacob doesn't hang out will Sam till New Moon (2nd book) because he thinks he is bad.

Correction: First, movie and book discrepancies are not movie mistakes. Second, the character is clearly Sam, with or without the credit, as noted by his tone when speaking of the Cullens. None of the other boys in the tribe believed enough in the stories to have that level of dislike toward the Edward and the others. Finally, Sam did not begin acting strangely and therefore gaining Jacob's dislike until the events of New Moon, so there's no reason at this point in the story for Jacob, Quil, and Sam not to be hanging out together.

Corrected entry: This happens during the vampire baseball scene, when Jasper is up to bat. While Alice is winding up to throw the ball, you can see Carlisle running off of second base. However, after Jasper swings, Carlisle is running off of second base again. (01:20:45)

Correction: A player on first may choose to begin running to second before the pitcher has actually pitched, decide they've left too early (giving the pitcher time to throw the ball to the first basemen instead of the catcher getting said player out), and therefore choose to return to first, only to begin their run to second again once they deem the time right. This is the scenario Carlisle found himself in.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Bella and Edward are lying in the meadow, there is a shot that shows the angle of Edward's neck. In that shot his heart beat is visible in his jugular vein.

Correction: In the context of the movie itself, we are told nothing about vampire anatomy. There is nothing to indicate that they do not have beating hearts or veins. While the movie is based on the book it does not have to follow every detail and since it is not mentioned within the film it doesn't really qualify.

Corrected entry: In the lunchroom scene, after Edwards flips the apple back up at Bella, you can see he is sweating (under his arms) and yet they stated before that his skin is ice cold.

Correction: Liquid on the skin is not the same as heat. We are told nothing about vampire anatomy or physiology. They may have a sweating mechanism different than ours.

Corrected entry: The physical layout of Bella's bedroom does not match the outside of the house. The bath is to the right of Bella's bedroom, the bath window should be on the same linear wall as the large double window in the front of the house. There is (of course) no small bathroom window on the front of the house.

Correction: Bella's bedroom is on the back side of the house. You never get to see this side from outside. That's why you also don't see the bathroom window.

Corrected entry: While Bella (Kristen Stewart) is in the hospital near the end of the movie, her eyes are green, her natural color, but during the rest of the movie, they are brown.

Correction: No, Bella's eyes are VERY brown in the hospital.

Corrected entry: As Bella and Edward arrive to the baseball field, they pull up in the SUV, then walk along what seems to be a river's edge, with a tall waterfall in the background. You never see the waterfall during the baseball game, and when they leave the field and walk to the SUV, the SUV is parked practically on the field, a few steps away from where they are standing.

Correction: Just after Alice says "it's time" and Rosalie is getting ready to pitch, you can see the waterfall right behind Bella's right shoulder.

Corrected entry: When Bella walks right past Edward into the forest, just before she tells him that she knows what he is, she is wearing a bright red backpack, but in the forest she is not.

Correction: Just as they pass that huge tree and Bella stops, you can see her take her backpack off and throw it on the ground. That's why she's not wearing it later.

Corrected entry: During the Baseball scene when Carlisle is up to bat, he points out his shot, and in the background you see Esme, Rosalie and Jasper, but no Bella who is suppose to be umpire. When Alice throws the pitch and he is about to hit it she still isn't there, but when he starts to run and you're looking at his back side, Bella is suddenly there behind Esme.

Correction: Bella IS there. Look to the extreme left of the screen and you can see her shoulder and arm. In the tight shot of Esme, there is no reason why Bella would be visible.

Corrected entry: When Mike turns around after Bella hits him with the volleyball, you can obviously see it is a different actor and he has black hair. Then they switch the shot onto Bella and when it comes back it's the real actor who plays Mike with dirty blond hair.

Correction: That is definitely the same actor. What you see is the 're-growth' as you can still see bits of blond at the ends. When he turns around you can see re-growth as well, but not as much of it. The lighting toys a bit with his hair colour in the two shots as well.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Bella is just coming home after the baseball game, when she goes into her room you can see Edward standing against the wall right next to the door. Charlie being right behind Bella would be able to see him.

Correction: Bella is blocking Charlie's view of the room.

Corrected entry: The Czech flag shown here has the order of colors wrong. (00:30:25)

Correction: It's probably the Philipine's flag. In any case this could easily be an error on the part of the School - the flags may be handcrafted and wrongly made. It's more of an everyday human error, than an actual "instant shot to shot" movie mistake.

Corrected entry: The bite marks are simply birthmarks and too small to be an actual "human" bite.

Correction: If you are refering to the two moles on robert pattinson's neck, they are not "bite marks" they ARE his moles. And were never intended to be representing the bite.

Corrected entry: In the cafeteria scene, many of the flags visible in the background are not quite right, for example the Australian flag is supposed to have 7 stars, not 5.

Correction: Its actually just the New Zealand flag.

Corrected entry: When Bella says, "I planned to confront him .", the white car arrives with Jaspar and Emmet, who is is prepared to hop out, then Jaspar opens the door. In the next shot, Emmet does jump out of the car but we see Jaspar open the door again. (00:14:00)

Correction: Jasper doesn't even open the door the first time you say he did. He opens it once when Emmett has jumped.

Corrected entry: While getting ready to leave the school for the field trip, you can see the wording on the school bus. It reads'Wilamette Valley," near where the movie was filmed in Oregon, instead of Forks, WA, where the movie is supposed to take place.

Correction: In no shot does the bus side read "Willamette Valley". In all shots it reads "Quileute Valley School District".

Corrected entry: In the first exterior shot of the hotel in "Scottsdale" (actually California), we see a light-post on the left of the screen with a large yellow banner reading "Scottsdale". In the next two exterior hotel shots, the banner is gone- though it is supposed to be the same day.

Correction: Not a mistake - it could have been taken down "that day". It's only a mistake if it changes immediately from shot to shot.

Corrected entry: In the biology scene where Bella & Edward are discussing why Bella decided to live in Forks, Edward says a line similar to "If you don't like the wet or cold, why did you choose the rainiest place in the continental US?" When Robert Pattinson is saying, 'Continental US,' you can detect his British accent.

Correction: Edward has been a vampire for many long years. Since he has lived for about a century, he has probably traveled to many different places; Europe, America, etc - so his accent may not be an exact one.

Corrected entry: When Edward says to Bella that his family are vegetarians, they are on the reef. Later they are sitting under some roots and it's raining - but only Edward is wet. So rain isn't raining on Bella? And after a while they are dry again.

Correction: Bella is wet in this scene, just not as wet as Edward. This whole scene actually takes place over a few days, which explains why they are wet one minute then dry the next.

Corrected entry: After Edward sparkles in the sun for the first time, and says the line, "This is the skin of a killer Bella," he leaves to go to another part of the forest. Bella then starts to follow him, but if you keep your eyes on Edward, he is still in view behind a tree.

Correction: He doesn't turn to walk to another part of the forest, he turns to walk behind the tree. Once Bella comes around the tree he walks forward a few more steps.

Corrected entry: During the car scene where Edward rescues Bella in Port Angeles, the Volvo is filmed from the back during the fast-driving getaway, and has Oregon plates. Very quick and hard to see, but it's there. Throughout the rest of the movie the plates on the car are Washington plates.

Correction: Already submitted and corrected.

Corrected entry: In the shot of the cab pulling up to the curb outside the ballet studio, which is supposedly in Phoenix, there is a light pole banner that reads Scottsdale.

Correction: She says her house is in Phoenix. The studio, even near her house, can logically be in Scottsdale. Or like many of us who live in Phoenix suburbs, she refers to it all as Phoenix.

Corrected entry: Edward saves Bella by standing between her truck and the careening van. He may be strong enough to not be crushed, but he's wearing ordinary shoes and has an unremarkable body weight. The coefficient of friction between his shoes and the pavement wouldn't keep him from being shoved into Bella's truck, putting a dent in it as well.

Correction: Pushing his body down on impact, using the van as leverage, gives him additional resistance from sliding. Also, this is just how super-strength works in every movie, book, etc that features it. It's supernatural, so applying laws of nature to it is pretty redundant.

Correction: The jacket is not left behind in the movie. That only happens in the book and book to movie differences are not allowed per site rules.

Corrected entry: When Edward is talking to Rosalie and Carlisle in the hospital after saving Bella, Robert Pattinson's British accent slips out at the end when he says, "What was I supposed to do, let her die?"

Correction: Edward is almost 110 years old, thus his speech pattern (and accent) would be a bit different.

Corrected entry: When Bella is in the hospital talking to Edward, he says that she 'hit her head pretty hard'. However, in the scene where Tyler's van nearly crushes Bella she does not actually hit her head at all.

Correction: It is a cover for what really happened. Edward is saying that so she thinks that what happen didn't really happen.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Bella is looking at Edward across the parking lot after finding out he's a vampire, she is looking at him and walking towards him. When the shot is on him, he is standing in front of the stairs/ramp, but when he turns to follow her into the woods, he is standing across from the stairs/ramp.

Correction: You can stand across something and look like you are standing in front of it by means of different camera angles used. Edward was standing in front of the stairs/ramp.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Edward comes to tell Bella that he wants to take her to meet his family (they're outside Bella's house by the truck), Robert Pattinson's English accent is very evident.

Correction: He's almost 100 years old, and it has probably affected the way he speaks. People did not talk the same way 100 years ago as they do now. I think the actor's accent can easily be used as a character trait and not a mistake in the movie.

Corrected entry: In the prom scene, as Bella and Edward are walking around the room saying 'Hi' to people, Bella has her purse in her right hand. However, when the shot is from behind then, looking at Eric and Angela, Bella has a glass in her right hand. In the next shot facing Bella and Edward, she again has just her purse.

Correction: This is not really a mistake. They have shown the prom to look like they are there for a while and had enough time to have a drink.

Corrected entry: In the scene at the hospital, there are chest x-rays in the background. The chest x-ray on the far left is hung upside down.

Correction: It is common that X-rays are placed on the reader boxes by others (radiology technicians, nurses, etc) while pending review by the doctor. They know that when the doctor comes to read the X-ray they will place it in whatever position is correct, or best suits their ability to best see the area they are making a diagnosis.

Corrected entry: In the first Biology scene, Edward pushes the dish toward Bella. The shot changes and the dishes are next to each other again, but when the shot changes the dishes are apart.

Correction: In the entire first biology scene, it is edited in a "montage" style, to show the way in which Edward is being tempted by Bella's scent, and trying to control himself. As this scene is not shown in real time, then inconsistencies from each shot are perfectly fine, as they show evidence that time has passed during this "montage."

Corrected entry: In the scene where Bella is being cornered by the four men in the dark alley, there is another man behind them on some sort of ramp. He is holding a camera, and in the next shot, he isn't there.

Correction: My friends and I thought it was a guy leaning in to make out with a lady. Then they leave by the time they show that area again - it is definitely more than one person and they clearly have no camera or equipment whatsoever, so not a mistake.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Bella and Edward are walking into the Italian Restaurant in Port Angeles, the cars in the parking lot all have Oregon license plates, as does Edward's car (location where the movie was filmed, instead of on location in Washington where the book takes place and the movie is indicated to take place as well).

Correction: Just because it says Oregon doesn't mean it is an error. They are right next to each other. I know a lot of people who go to Washington to buy cars, and people from Washington who would prefer to come to Oregon to get cars. I don't think it would be a mistake, especially as we know that Edward likes to shop around to buy the most expensive cars (from the books.)

Corrected entry: In the first outdoor shot of the Scottsdale hotel, in the bottom left of the frame, a large planter with a large cactus is seen. After they cut back to the same location, the planter is gone.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Edward saves Bella from the Van, the second time they pan up to show the entire parking lot, the Cullen cars are all gone. Two shots later the do a close up on Jasper, Alice and Rosalie's faces (of shock) next to their cars. Then the next shot is another areal view of the lot again, no Cullen cars.

Correction: If you look at the parking lot there are 4 rows of parking. Bella is in the first, then 2 rows in the middle and one on the far right where the Cullen's are. When they show the lot after Edward saves Bella, they only show 3 rows. Bella's and the 2 in the middle. Cullen's row is off camera.

Corrected entry: Bella is sleeping and dreams about Edward for the first time, and she wakes up in shock and looks over and "thinks" she sees him. Then the camera is back on Bella, and you see the reflection of Edward walking out of the shot. (You see the light reflecting on Bella's face of Edward's shadow.) Not hard to miss.

Correction: Bella "thought" she saw Edward there, and he really was. He says later on in the movie, just before the kiss scene, that he has been sneaking up to her room for a few months. So, seeing his reflection as he is leaving is logical.

Corrected entry: As my health occupation friends pointed out, when a bone is broken you cannot put sheets on that area. It crushes the broken limb. Therefore,in the scene where Bella is lying in the hospital, she shouldn't have the covers over her broken leg. Her knee doesn't count either, since her shin was broken towards the bottom.

Correction: If you actually watch carefully her bandaged leg is out of the covers as i noticed it and questioned my friend as to why. So your right about it not supposed to be covered, but wrong in what you stated to be a mistake.

Corrected entry: When Bella gets out of the examining room at the hospital with her dad, right before she talks to Edward, her dad tells her she should call her mom to say she's OK. Then Bella says to her dad, "You tell her?" when it should be, "You told her?"

Correction: Poor grammar may be annoying to some, but it is not a movie/filming mistake.

Corrected entry: During the scene in kitchen at the Cullen house, when the woman says, "Here comes the human," her lips don't move.

Correction: Rosalie is not on screen when she says this. She is off screen to the right on the other side of the kitchen island. Only Emmett, Esme, and Carlisle are visible when Rosalie makes the comment, "Would you get a whif of that? Here comes the human."

Corrected entry: In the scene where Edward is showing Bella his room and she turns on the stereo to hear the Clair de Lune he mispronounces the name Debussy. He says de-buh-see and it's pronounced de-bee-see. Knowing he speaks several languages and if he loves the composer so much, he should know how to pronounce his name properly.

Correction: Debussy is never pronounced "de-bee-see". Edward's pronounciation in the scene is quite accurate.

Corrected entry: The bite marks on Edward's neck are sometimes viewed on the left side of his neck and sometimes on the right side.

Correction: On the left side of Rob's neck are his two moles/freckles, and not bite marks.

Corrected entry: In the end credits, Emmett's name was typed wrong. It was Emmet.

Correction: Since it doesn't appear in print anywhere in the movie, and movie/book discrepancies are not valid movie mistakes, this isn't a mistake.

Corrected entry: When Bella sees the Cullen family for the first time, when the family is all sitting together, you see Rosalie eating a carrot. Then when Bella goes to the Cullen house, they say they don't eat food.

Correction: Keeping up appearances. People would notice if they never ate anything. But no, they don't 'eat' food.

Corrected entry: During the first killing at the mill, it's daylight. The next shot is very short - it's dark and raining in front of Charlie's house. Then it's morning and Bella is leaving for school (when she slips on the ice). While the rain in evening may be the explanation for morning ice, it seems completely unnecessary, especially considering how short the clip is. It seems more likely that there was supposed to be another evening scene that was later cut. In addition, when the van skids on the ice in the school parking lot, it's after school. Since it's spring in WA (she starts school in March), it is very unlikely that the school parking lot would still be icy in the afternoon. In the book, the van accident occurs before school opens for the day.

Correction: NONE of these are movie mistakes; they are issues of editorial license between the book and the movie. And Washington State in March is almost always close to or below freezing in temperature.

Corrected entry: During the baseball game, Rosalie slides into the base and gets her white pant leg dirty. However, when she is sitting on the counter in the Cullen's garage it is now perfectly clean.

Correction: When Rosalie slides into base she slides on her right leg. When she is sitting on the counter in the garage it is her left leg that is facing the camera, which is not the leg she slid into home plate on.

Corrected entry: In the final shot with Victoria at the prom, her hair is in an up-do; but right when the credits begin to roll and she walks down the stairs, her hair is down.

Correction: You see Victoria reach up and undo her "up-do" before her hair falls.

Corrected entry: At the end of the movie, when Edward is picking up Bella for the prom, he sits with Charlie in the kitchen with a glass of water in his hand. He then leaves the kitchen WITHOUT the glass of water. When he makes the motion to leave the house, he is holding a glass (suddenly empty). He proceeds to leave the house with the glass.

Correction: Edward is not carrying the glass - the object in his hand is a clear corsage box.

Corrected entry: During the scene where Edward first shows Bella how he glitters in the sun his shirt is unbuttoned. In the next shot his shirt is suddenly buttoned back up.

Correction: If you watch Edward closely you can see that after showing Bella how he sparkles, he turns his back to her and, from the movement and position of his arms, is buttoning his shirt as he faces away from her.

Corrected entry: When Bella goes to meet the Cullens, Rosalie shatters the salad bowl and steps out of the mess. Later there is a shot of a clean floor, then again the salad is there at the end of the scene.

Correction: The shot of the clean floor area is just after Alice enters the room, which shows the floor behind Rosalie. Even though Rosalie stepped over to the side, away from the shattered bowl and salad, the mess is still in front of her. So, this isn't a mistake because the "clean floor" is behind her, whereas the salad mess is in front of her.

Corrected entry: The book and movie both say that the Cullens do not eat at all, but in one of the cafeteria scenes when Bella walks in, Edward throws down his half eaten pancake (or similar) and Emmett is eating too.

Correction: Edward points out in the book that they can eat human food. He also states that they don't because it's like a human eating dirt. They're just keeping up appearances.

Corrected entry: In the baseball field when James, Laurent, and Victoria meet the Cullens, they would have been able to smell Bella was human. Rosalie smelled her when she was in the Cullen's house for dinner.

Correction: They DID smell Bella's human scent - that's why James pursued her thereafter.

Brenda Elzin

Corrected entry: In the first biology classroom scene there is a armadillo in the background, later in the movie in the second scene in the classroom it is gone but in the next shot it reappears.

Correction: The armadillo sits on a high shelf. When the camera angle is facing Edward, the armadillo appears behind Edward, but over his head. During the second scene the camera angle never goes above Edward's head, so the armadillo is there but without the camera angle moving upward it just isn't visible.

Corrected entry: In the scene before prom, Bella has the boot on her foot, but when Edward takes Bella outside to dance during prom and puts her on his feet, she is wearing two shoes and no boot. Her right leg is supposed to be broken.

Correction: She is wearing the boot the entire time. It blends with Edward's pants, but it's there.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Edward is playing Bella's lullaby on the piano, Bella goes from sitting against his shoulder in one shot to sitting about half a foot away from him in the next shot.

Correction: The lullaby scene takes place over a lot of time. If you notice, Rosalie is there, but after a while, she leaves. Bella had time to shift positions.

Corrected entry: When Edward and Bella are at the meadow, and the sunlight hits Edward, causing his skin to sparkle like crystals, not all of his exposed skin sparkles, just his face. But his neck/chest does not sparkle at all even though his skin is exposed here.

Correction: They do to sparkle, it is just difficult to see because of poor light and shadows.

Corrected entry: Right after Edward gets in the jeep after the scene with James in the clearing, he says that they will take a ferry to Vancouver. From Forks, Vancouver isn't a ferry ride away, just a long drive.

Correction: Going to Vancouver, BC, there is a ferry from Port Townsend, WA to Fort Casey, WA they can take that would cut at least three hours from their drive. It is common in Washington State to use ferries in conjunction with the final destination as it has one of the largest ferry fleets in the US.

Corrected entry: In the prom scene, Bella's shoe switches, at first it is a shoe, and at the end, when they zoom in on it, it's a Converse.

Correction: When Bella walks down the stairs in her prom dress, you can see her left foot and she is wearing a Converse and wears it throughout the night.

Corrected entry: In the scene after Bella slips on the ice, and is talking to Charlie, you can hear rain and you can see rain all around them, but there is no rain falling on the characters.

Correction: It had just rained and some of it was dripping off the roof. That's why you hear the sound of rain.

Corrected entry: Billy Black is supposed to be paralyzed in his legs but when they come to Bella's house the second time, Billy is driving.

Correction: People who are partially paralyzed (in the legs) can drive vehicles with special hand controls. Unless there is more to this mistake that has not been stated, this is not necessarily a mistake.

Brenda Elzin

Corrected entry: Between the baseball match scene and the ride in the car to Bella's house, Edward wears a baseball-outfit (the shirt). However, when he is at the door, and the scenes afterwards, he has changed into a grey sweater.

Correction: Edward had plenty of time to change. In the scene just before this one, he tells Bella to think of something to tell her father about leaving. Being that she comes in the door yelling at Edward and telling her father that she broke up with him, we can see that there is a gap of time that wasn't shown since they are acting out their plan to get her out.

Corrected entry: When Edward rescues Bella from the four frat boys, she has a large black purse. When he drops her off at the police station, she doesn't have the purse. Also, when he follows her into the woods, she throws her backpack down by a tree. They go all over the mountain and never get her backpack back.

Correction: We're never shown it but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen. We don't see every meal consumed by Bella, but she eats; we don't see every hour of her sleeping, but she does.

Corrected entry: When Bella and Edward arrive at Prom, their picture is taken upon entering the building. Since Edward is a vampire and vampires do not have reflections nor can be seen in pictures, this shouldn't have happened. Edward would have known about this since he's been in how school for years.

Correction: In the Twilight mythos, vampires have reflections and can have their photos taken. As vampires are fictional, each different mythos can choose to deal with them as they see fit.

Corrected entry: In one scene Bella and Edward are sitting together in the rain and Edward's hair is very wet, and then suddenly in the next shot they are both dry, his hair is dry, and he is wearing a different shirt.

Correction: This is part of a montage sequence where Edward is explaining his past to Bella - the different locations/clothing indicate that her questions take place over several days.

Corrected entry: In the scene at the dance studio there are many many mirrors. Bella sees James's reflection in the mirrors. But James is a vampire. Vampires historically do not have reflections.

Correction: "Historically" does not apply here - this movie is consistent with the book from which it is derived. These vampires are not like others in literature. This is made very clear in the books - and in the movie as well, with many things being different (reflecting in the sunlight vs. being tortured by sunlight, etc.).

Brenda Elzin

Corrected entry: Edward is described as being 'ice cold' both in the book and movie, however in many of the scenes where he is outside, his breath is shown to condensate in the cold air, which would make no sense if he was as cold, if not colder, than the air itself.

Correction: His skin may be cold, it doesn't mean his internal body core is cold. Besides, as with the other entry about the same thing, vampires are not real, as such their physiology is open to debate even between different books and movies. An opinion is not a mistake.

James: You're alone... Because you're faster than the others. But not stronger...
Edward Cullen: I'm strong enough to kill you.

When Bella and Edward talk in the woods, Bella drops her backpack in front of a tree. In a subsequent shot, the backpack has disappeared.

Bella drops the apple in the cafeteria when she gives her theories on what Edward is. When he catches the apple, after he bounces the apple back up from his foot, the way that his hand catches the apple is the cover of the book.
