Suggested correction: It is accurate that Turner can open the door without unlocking it, all modern cars can be opened from the inside whether the door is locked or not. Ashley never actually tries to open the door, she reaches for the handle and stops once Turner locks the door. Since the movie never actually shows Ashley try to open the door, this doesn't count as a plot hole. If anything this is a character mistake, Ashley should be well aware that she can't be "locked in" a car that new.

Plot hole: When Kale and Ashley escape from Turner, Kale tells Ashley to make sure the police come. But, when the cop comes, Ashley does not seem to have told him about what just happened, he gets killed before he can request backup, and then the police arrive right after Kale and his mother walk out the garage after defeating Turner. Why did she not inform the cop and wait all that time to call the police?

Plot hole: When Kale and Ashley are hiding in Kale's dad's office before Turner breaks through the door, the power goes out. Kale's ankle bracelet goes off when he and Ashley cross the line. However, considering that at the beginning of the film Viola Davis explains that the police will come immediately if the machine that traces the bracelet is unplugged, the bracelet should have started when the power went out.

Plot hole: There is no way Turner should have been able to fool Kale into thinking that he was the club girl, due to obvious differences in his physical appearance to the club girl. Such as his much blatantly larger size and height, especially if he needed fit into the black dress she was wearing (and to top it off, it does looks very much like the actress when "she" gets into the car).

Factual error: In the scene when Kale uses the lamp, taking off its lamp-shade, to see what's inside the hole, he points it in there. The lamp, actually, shouldn't illuminate the wall in one point creating a circle like a flashlight but wholly lighten the larger area. (01:30:00)

Question: When Mr. Turner brings home the club girl in the green Volkswagen Beetle, he attacks and chases her around the house which is witnessed by Kale. Soon after, Kale witnesses the redhead calmly leave Mr. Turner's house and walk back to her car and slowly pull away. Later on in the movie, Kale already in Mr. Turner's basement, finds the redhead's ID, keys, and even her scalp (or wig?) intact on the table and says, "The redhead from the club - she never left." Who did Kale see leave Mr. Turner's home calmly?

Answer: Along with the wig seen at the end in Turner's secret basement are a pair of high heels. Turner dressed in both of those along with the redhead's clothing to make it seem like she was safely leaving.
