Hoosiers

Continuity mistake: After the two boys leave the team at the beginning of the film, Gene Hackman has the boys doing a passing drill with six guys. The problem is that there were only five guys on the team. It even shows a seventh player on the sidelines.

Continuity mistake: During the game against the Wildcats (the orange team) the incorrect score is often seen in the background. For example, the score changes from 50-51 to 36-36. This happens several times throughout the game.

Continuity mistake: When Dennis Hopper's "Shooter" character is drying out in the hospital and his son comes to visit him they talk for several minutes, however, the clock on the wall continues to read 9:49 from the beginning of the scene to the ending of it. (01:31:00)

Factual error: As the team begins the Indiana state tourney (always held in March) the team bus is shown driving by fields of corn. No corn in Indiana at this time of year. The crop is harvested before the season starts.

Trivia: Near the end of the film in the locker room prior to the championship game, Coach Dale makes reference to the players on the other team whose names are written on a chalkboard. If you look closely at the list of names, you'll see that they are the last names of the actors that portray the Hickory players (Poole, Schenk, Boyle, etc).
