Continuity mistake: When Smee gives Hook his nightcap drink, Hook takes it in his hand and holds it at the top of the goblet so that it is hidden under his hand. But in the very next shot he is holding it by the handle and the whole goblet is now visible with a small black umbrella sticking out the top. Additionally, the position of the small umbrella that sits in the goblet changes a few times.
Continuity mistake: After finding his son hit a home run in the game with the pirates, Peter decides he must learn how to fly. The ball his son hit comes flying from the sky and hits Peter in the head, knocking him over. When he hits the ground, he is lying on grass, but one second later he opens his eyes on grey rock.
Continuity mistake: When Smee and Captain Hook are alone on the ship at night, Smee stands up just after eating chicken off his plate. His blue bandana hangs down his left shoulder near his plate. However, after a shot of Hook when it faces Smee again his bandana is now short, just resting on his left shoulder.
Revealing mistake: In the last scene that we see Maggie and Jack before they are kidnapped, when the bed covers fly off their beds, you can see that they are suspended by their corners. This is particularly obvious when they are lifted up. The middle of the quilt sags while the corners are lifted.
Revealing mistake: When Tinkerbell is waking up all the Lost Boys and announcing Peter Pan's return, we see a shot in which Tink flies around a curly-headed boy. When she does, you can see the wire used to move the figure around his head. It is most visible when the boy turns his head toward the right side of the screen.
Continuity mistake: When Tinkerbell first arrives at Peter's home, she walks through ink and then walks on Peter's shirt, making little footprints. She only walks halfway up his shirt, yet when Peter gets up you can see little footprints leading all the way up to his collar.

Continuity mistake: When Tinkerbell visits Peter at his home, in one shot she pulls the rug from under Peter's feet and Peter flies to the floor. When he lands to the floor, there is nothing around his head, just bare floor. Then when it cuts to a wideshot, lots of items like the tent sheet, the parachute etc. are surrounding his head.
Continuity mistake: When Peter Pan starts fighting Hook's pirates on the ships deck, he pushes the second pirate who attacks him into two barrells. Where the pirate is pushed, there are two barrells (which he flies into), a large wooden crate, and another large wooden crate with a barrell laying on it. Then when it cuts, there's now THREE small crates instead of the one large one, and there's now TWO barrells on top of the other crate!
Visible crew/equipment: When the pirates try to get Peters shoes, after he first arrives at Neverland, Tinkerbell starts fighting them. In one shot a pirate gets hit by a very large saucepan, and falls back-first off a balcony. The very long wire is very visible. It's really long and goes all the way from attached to his back, to offscreen.
Continuity mistake: When Peter is fighting Hook in front of the crocodile clock, he uses his sword tip to fling the pirate-hat and its wig attachment off of Hook's head and it flies over and lands on one of the Lost Boys heads. When it lands on his head it is wonky. But in the next shot it is sitting on his head perfectly straight and is then wonky again in the next shot.
Continuity mistake: When Peter is hit by the flying baseball that knocks him out, when he falls to the ground he has nothing attached to the large black belt that goes around his waist. But in the very next shot there is a small brown pouch that is tied to the belt, to his right side.
Revealing mistake: In one shot when a group of the Lost Boys are catapulted up into the air so that they can land on the side of Captain Hook's pirate ship, when they all hit the wooden pillared side it can clearly be seen to bounce as they land on it. It is possible to give some leeway on their weight making some effect - but not so much as to make the wood 'bounce' like it is made of soft material.
Continuity mistake: The golden sword of the Pan gets a lot of use in the final fight scenes. A lot of shots show that the sword gets tiny notches on the sides from all of the clanging against things. However, when Peter passes the sword to the large Lost Boy, the sword's edges have been beveled smooth.
Continuity mistake: During the scene where Hook meets Peter for the first time, Smee gags Peter with his glasses and eye patch. As he puts them in Peter's mouth, you can see the pirate behind Peter holding them in place. In the shot where Hook removes the gag, the glasses are suddenly in firmly enough not to be held - the pirate's hand is now on Peter's shoulder.
Continuity mistake: When Peter is carrying his children away from Hook's ship to leave Neverland, Hook starts running after him, threatening to always "leave daggers with notes bearing the name Hook" and then he stops at the top of the ramp. In the closeup he is waving his hooked hand as he shouts after Peter, but in the next shot he is waving his left hand forward, holding his sword outwards.
Continuity mistake: When Peter is onboard Hook's ship fighting with a pirate below deck, he runs behind a very large globe and then pushes a large statue forward, trapping the pirate. Between shots as Peter does this the position of the large globe beside him completely changes (the curved wooden part and the actual globe, which has rotated itself).
Continuity mistake: In the flashback when Peter is remembering how he lost his Mother and got to Neverland, there is a scene where Peter is a baby and the stroller that he is in is blown down a hill by the wind. Between the three shots in this scene, the stroller keeps getting closer to the tree that it is sitting beside - even though the wind is blowing in the other direction!
Continuity mistake: When the Lost Boys bring the large black pot over to the dinner table and set it down in front of Peter, in the first shot it sits nice and flat on the table, but in the next shot it is sitting wonky, with a plate half-under it. In the next shot it is back to its original position. Additionally the items around the pot differ.
Continuity mistake: When Hook is sitting in his chair with the vanity tables at either side of him (with several mirrors on each table), we can see that there are two pots on each vanity table. Each pot has a small grey powder-ball sitting on top of it, which has red ribbons attached to it. During the scene the balls/ribbons differ in position and then at the very end of the scene (when Hook begins laughing at his plan to make Jack and Maggie love him) both of the grey powder balls have vanished.
Continuity mistake: When Jack and Maggie are in the large rope net that is hanging from the mast of Hook's ship, they are reaching out of the net trying to grab for their Dad's hands. In one shot Maggie is reaching both of her arms out of the net but in the immediate overhead shot she is only stretching one arm out.
Continuity mistake: When Peter walks onboard the deck before Captain Hook comes out, he is wearing an eyepatch, pirate hat and a purple cloak. In the first shot the purple cloak he is wearing is pulled up over his mouth but in the immediate next shot the cloak is now down around his neck.
Continuity mistake: When Hook is giving Maggie and Jack lessons about why their parents hate them, on Jacks desk there is a large brown book and a piece of paper. There is an inkwell too which between different shots constantly goes from being on the brown book to the paper, then back etc.

Continuity mistake: When the boy touches Peter's face, Peter is kneeling and is slightly taller than the kid. Then he says "Here you are, Peter!", the angle swaps to a wide one where Peter is now in a lower position than the kid. Then back to the close-up and he is back to a higher position. The boy's hands are also always inconsistent between the front and side angles.
Continuity mistake: Peter picks up a wooden spoon and flicks imaginary food at Rufio. Looking at Rufio, a black plastic spoon covered in blue flicks some blue and red substance at him that has a consistency if pudding. When Peter looks at the now-covered spoon, it has red, green, yellow and blue stuff stuck on it.

Revealing mistake: Many times during the film when characters are flying, it is clear that they are flying on a harness due to their stiff, rigid movement and also due to the bulkiness that will suddenly appear on their back. It is especially noticeable at the end when Tootles sprinkles the fairy dust over himself and flies out the nursery window.
Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie when Peter crawls into Nana's doghouse to greet her (after returning from Neverland) he shakes the doghouse a little as he crawls in, causing snow to fall of its roof, which lands in the two dogbowls next to it. But in the next shot the dogbowls are now empty with no snow in them and also there is a long bone sticking out one of the bowls too.
Continuity mistake: When Peter Pan is battling with all of the pirates on Captain Hook's ship, he continues to knock them all to the ground with his sword. As the shots change during the scene, the positions of the pirates that lay on the floor keep changing instantly after they fall.
Continuity mistake: When Smee is bent over at the water tank that has Hook's toy ships in it, in one shot as we see the shot with Hook's back facing the camera, Smee's bandana ties both hang in front of his shoulder. In the following shot the ties are now differently positioned, with one folded back over his shoulder.
Continuity mistake: When Peter walks into the clearing at the Lost Boys hideout, he walks forward and steps his left leg into a vine tip which is laying on the floor. This causes the vine to wrap around his ankle and pull him up into the air. However as he is pulled up, the vine is now wrapped around his RIGHT leg.
Continuity mistake: When Peter steps out onto the ships deck (before Hook comes out and makes his speech), Tinkerbell is with him and she lands on the top of a barrell. On top of the barrell is a glass bottle laying down, which between shots (as Tink lands on the barrell), changes which direction it is pointing. In addition the large piece of rope sitting next to it differs in position as well.
Continuity mistake: When Hook is giving the lesson to Jack and Maggie about why their parents hate them, he starts by underlining the word 'Hate' on a blackboard he has. However a few shots later the line that he drew to underline the word is now completely different. The line is longer and thicker.

Continuity mistake: When Peter first enters the Lost Boys' urban-style playground, he is suddenly startled by Lost Boys on skateboards that begin to circle him. But in the next shot focusing on one Lost Boy dunking a basketball through the hoop, you can see Peter in the background, only now the Lost Boys that were skating around him have disappeared.
Continuity mistake: When Hook is talking to Smee about the subject of Peter Pan (as Smee collects food from the table), Hook holds up his hooked hand and stares at it as he is talking. As the shots differ from wide views of the room to closeups of Hook, the lace cuff that surrounds his hooked hand keeps differing in its position.
Continuity mistake: When the little Lost Boy begins to "inspect" Peter by tugging at his face and whatnot, in the first shot as he pulls Peter's cheeks the bracelet that he has around his wrist has a feather attached to it which is at the top of his wrist. In the next shot the bracelet has suddenly rotated, as the feather is now at the bottom (under his wrist).
Continuity mistake: At the imaginary dinner with Peter and the Lost Boys; when Rufio throws his plate across the table at Peter, in this shot and the next few shots that follow, the large black pan that sits on the table in front of Peter keeps moving closer then further away from his plate.
Continuity mistake: When Peter first walks into the clearing of the Lost Boys hideout, there is a vine hanging from the tree that is touching the floor (which Peter steps into) and the vine has excess which is curled up in a large pile on the ground. But when it shows Peter stepping into the vine, it is only curled round in one circle - not the large pile it was beforehand.
Continuity mistake: When Moira and Peter are at Wendy's beside, as she rests after being shaken at her honourary dinner, we can see a book sitting on the bedside table and it is resting at a crooked angle. But when Wendy askes Peter to hand it over to her, the camera zooms in for a closeup of the book which is now sitting at a perfectly straight and neat angle.
Continuity mistake: Hook has Jack and Maggie caught in a large rope net which dangles from the ship's mast. When the net is hoisted up and Hook tells Peter he must fly up and touch their hands, in the wideshot we see the large rope net swinging back and forth in the air. But in the next shot as it focuses on a shot of Jack and Maggie in the net, it is at a complete stand still and is not swinging at all.
Continuity mistake: When Captain Hook walks across the ship and up to the pirate that bet against him finding Peter Pan, we see Peter standing to the side (between the pirate and Hook) and he moves the eyepatch that he is wearing across from his right eye to his left eye. As he does this, the eyepatch strap falls off the right spectacle. But in the next shot the eyepatch strap has now moved back up and is resting perfectly across the glass frame of the right spectacle.
Continuity mistake: In the opening scene at the school play as the shots change from wide views of the audience, to closeups of Moira and the children, the positions of everyone sitting around them continues to change. In addition the people standing up in the background keep moving, and in some shots we can see people standing with camcorders, but then in the next shots there is nobody with a camcorder visible.
Continuity mistake: After Smee introduces Captain Hook for his appearance on the ship (to make his speech to his fellow pirates), as he emerges from the door he leaves it wide open behind him. But as the scene continues and Hook is talking, pacing back and forth, etc., how wide open the door is keep changing (from wide open, half shut or practically closed).
Continuity mistake: Peter is underwater, bound with ties around his hands but then three mermaids swim to him and help him. However the amount of glitter that is spread on the mermaids differs; this is especially evident with the first bluehaired mermaid that kisses him - look at the amount on her hands as she kisses Peter and rests her hands on his shoulders.
Continuity mistake: In the airplane, Jack begins to throw his baseball against the window, to show his Dad (Peter) that it is thick and will not break. When he does this, it causes the oxygen masks to be dropped down in front of them. Between shots the positions of the masks and the straps wrapped around them differs. In addition in the first shot Peter grabs them to stop them from swinging about, but in the next shot his hands are instantly back in his lap.
Continuity mistake: After just arriving in Neverland, Peter comes across a gang of Pirates that take a fancy to the leather shoes he is wearing. A couple of the pirates in the gang bend down so they are almost to the floor, but as the shots differ they continue to change from either being bent over / standing up straight.
Revealing mistake: After arriving in Neverland in the bedsheet parachute made by Tinkerbell, there is a shot of Peter poking his finger up through the bedsheet to make a hole for him to rip open. However you can clearly see a small pre-made tear in the sheet for where he could easily poke his finger through and rip a hole in the fabric.
Continuity mistake: When Captain Hook is bent down talking to Jack in the broken clock shop, in the first shot all of Jack's fringe is neatly sticking out from under his baseball cap, but after Hook places his hand on Jack, all of his fringe is now combed back under his cap and is not visible.
Continuity mistake: When Peter flies up to find Tinkerbell in her lantern house, after he opens up the clock-face door and starts asking her what's wrong, as the scene progresses, Tink's arms keep moving from either being up by her face, to in her lap - and then when she turns around to face Peter, the position of her hands change from where they rest on her legs/knees.
Continuity mistake: Peter is hoisted out from the sea by the mermaids and then when he reaches the top of the mountain, he rolls down some rocks and through a small stream and then he finishes by sliding down a large area of snow. However at the end of it all, he is extremely dry and clean considering the previous ordeals.
Continuity mistake: When Peter is in the old burnt hideout, talking with Tinkerbell (just before he remembers his happy thought and re-learns to fly) he walks over to a small barrell that is covered in items (a glass bottle, rubble, scraps of paper and photos). Between the wideshot and then the closeup of the items sitting on the barrell, the items positions completely change and also some have vanished.
Audio problem: When Rufio withdraws his sword from the leather pouch he has tied around his leg (as he brings it out to brandish against Peter) it makes the sound of metal being withdrawn from a metal sheath, but the pouch is leather and couldn't allow the sword to make that sound effect.
Revealing mistake: When Smee stops Hook from his suicide attempt, the gun is accidentally shot off and the bullet hits one of the small model ships in Hook's little water tank. When it shows the ship (on fire) sinking down under the water, you can see the small rod devices that are actually pulling the ship down into the water.
Continuity mistake: When Tinkerbell is first visiting Peter in the nursery, she causes him to sneeze which results in her being blown into the doll's house. In this shot, the chair that is sitting next to the doll's house has a teddy bear on it which is laying flat on it's front. But in a following shot you can see that the teddy bear on the chair is now propped up nice and neatly, and additionally there are now extra items sitting next to the bear.
