Continuity mistake: When Howl first flies with Young Sophie, he wears a ring on each hand. As they take off, one of the rings momentarily vanishes.
Character mistake: When we first see Sophie her body was slumped over (the spell to make her old) but later on in the movie, her back magically seems fine. (00:00:01 - 01:50:00)
Young Sophie: It's... you're scaring me. I have this weird feeling you're going to leave. Howl, tell me what's going on! Please. I don't care if you're a monster.
Howl: I'm just setting things up so all of you can live a comfortable life, Sophie.
