Langley discovers that only weapons made during the time period the outlaws died in can destroy them. After shooting and blowing up Devlin's gang, Langley uses a badge worn by the original sheriff of the town, Harker like a ninja star and hurls it straight into Devlin's forehead causing him to collapse into a mass of decomposing carrion...upon Devlin's destruction, his curse over Cruz Del Diablo is broken thereby freeing the imprisoned towns occupants from his hex like grip on them. The moment Langley and Kate leave the town it completely vanishes into nothingless.
