Visible crew/equipment: In several scenes there are rectangular arrays of studio lamps visible, reflected in the actors' space helmets.
Visible crew/equipment: When the space ferry Moon Zero Two is first seen approaching Moon City, the black velvet curtain used as a lunar sky behind the miniature set can be seen sagging.
Factual error: When Kempt disables the artificial gravity in the nightclub (to put his adversary at a disadvantage in the ensuing brawl), everything in the room is suddenly suddenly subject to the Moon's natural 1/6g. During the subsequent chaos there's a shot of a lady with her beverage dangling in mid-air. But even in 1/6g objects don't just float in place; they fall very definitely.
2nd Officer: If you're Moon 02, I wish you would sell that thing along with all the other space rubbish you collect.
Trivia: Moon Zero Two is one of only three movies (of which I'm aware) that portray the vacuum of space as being non-acoustical: there are no sound effects laid in for the "outdoor" scenes. The other two flicks are 2001: A Space Odyssey, and Destination Moon.
