Corrected entry: In the scene where Mike and Marcus are in the house being shot at, Marcus is in some sort of bathroom (there's a toilet there, anyway). He ducks behind the wall and the toilet, and the wall behind where his head was, around, and above, was covered completely in bullet holes. In the next shot, he sits back up again, and there are far fewer bullet holes in the wall.
Corrected entry: During the chase scene, the first car to come off the trailer is a silver Pontiac Grand Prix, yet when they show the shot of the Haitian shooting the chain to release the car, it shows the rear end of a silver Buick.
Corrected entry: After Lowrey and Burnett scare Meghan's new boyfriend, Lowrey leans in to kiss Meghan on the cheek but he never touches here yet makes the "kiss" noise.
Corrected entry: In the scene when the Cuban house of Johnny Tapia gets attacked, two men would not be able to unload Mike and Marcus inside the coffin with their equipment without serious effort. Neither appears to break into a sweat.
Corrected entry: A few shots before the car pile up in the middle of the intersection, Mike and Marcus go on a chase to help Syd from the Haitians. You can see that there are no cars behind them, but when Syd crashes, about a dozen cars start crashing into the pile at high speeds. Where were the cars?
Corrected entry: At the end of the movie, they are all riding in the H2 and Martin takes out his pistol and says he has one round left in the chamber. The pistol he pulls out is a Sig Sauer P226 with a chrome plated slide. He has carried it throughout the entire movie. Once they get to the minefield, he shoots Tapia. The only catch is that he shoots him with a Glock 17 with a chrome plated slide. He has not been seen with a Glock 17 for the entire movie. Only Will carries those (2 of them to be precise). At the end of the movie, Will has one of his Glocks while Gabrielle Union had the other (she threw her's onto a landmine). Where did Martin's come from?Wubbman
Corrected entry: When Syd is standing in front of the mirror, we see her slide the mic under her dress/cleavage, then in the next shot we see her slide it under again.
Corrected entry: In the highway chase, a black car is seen to roll towards the camera. In the next shot, after the car 'hits' the camera, that car is now spinning, not rolling over.
Corrected entry: When Mike and Marcus are planning the siege on Tapia's Cuban Mansion in a police hangar, they get a phone call from Tito, who informs them that his men can get working on the tunnel right away. This must mean that they already have a safe house in mind. Then, why does Marcus question Tito about said safe house later on?
Corrected entry: In the last scene, where Smith is yelling about not having enough bullets, he says he only has two bullets left yet in the entire scene, he never fired a shot from his Glock. So how does he only have two bullets left?
Corrected entry: At one point during the Causeway chase scene, you can see a black pickup truck zoom by with a cage/roll-bar in the bed. This is the camera truck that was used to get the shots for most of this scene.
Corrected entry: After killing the Haitians in their house, Marcus and Mike proceed to the video store to look at the camera. Usually when the police kill people, there is some sort of investigation and the officers are placed on administrative leave. However Marcus and Mike and the rest of the team continue their case as if nothing ever happened. There is never even a mention of them killing the Haitians, and Captain Howard never questions how they came across the videotape.
Corrected entry: In the shanty town destruction scene in Cuba, a justification for plowing through the hoards of houses is that it is a cocaine producing neighbourhood. Cuba is not a cocaine producing country, as coca does not grow there.
Corrected entry: When Mike and Marcus are following the drug runners, they call Johnny to tell them they are being followed. He says "you kill those black *******". How does he know who's following his men without being told?
Corrected entry: After the chase scene with the morgue van the female forensics tech is explaining that the bodies are cut open, the organs taken out, and sewed up again. The body she is kneeling over is still sewed up. How could she possibly know the organs are missing without an open examination of the bodies or an x-ray?EMTurbo
Corrected entry: The mines shown outside the US base in Cuba towards the end of the film were actually banned by the Geneva Convention so its highly unlikely that the US would consider using them.
Corrected entry: When Will is in the Haitian hideaway he reloads his pistol and recocks the weapon. If he had just fired off a round, finishing the previous magazine requiring a change, the top of the pistol would be back because no round would have been available to slide it forward. If Will had done it correctly, he would only have needed to release the catch holding it and it would have taken a round into the breach for him. By cocking it he could have lost a valuable round.
Corrected entry: A Suburban is often mentioned in the movie, but it is actually a GMC Yukon (Suburban is the same car, but from Chevrolet) - You can see it in some shots as it's entering the garage and in the chase
Corrected entry: The machine guns that Mike Lowry keeps in his Ferrari are law enforcement issue H&K UMP 45's. After he gets out of the car and is shooting at Haitians from behind the white electrical box, he's holding onto the mag while he's shooting. His bullet stream would have been abruptly stopped as H&K's are notorious for jamming when held by the magazine.
Corrected entry: After the shoot out in the Haitians' pink house, Martin Lawrence is yelling at Will Smith about how, "dead suspects" don't talk. He asks the guy slumped down over the toilet, yet earlier on it is clearly Martin Lawrence himself who kills the guy, so, he is having a go at Will Smith for nothing.
Corrected entry: When the rats are found in the house, the Hispanic drug leader exclaims "F**king ratones.", or a similar expletive. The animals are rats, but "ratones" is the Spanish word for mice. The proper word would be "ratas".
Corrected entry: The movie starts with the scene in Amsterdam (The Netherlands), where a containership is loaded with Extacy. A guy is calling from a phonebooth and says "everything is under control". The language he is speaking, does not exist, it sounds like German, but it is definitely not Dutch.
Corrected entry: At the beginning of the car chase on the bridge you can see a helicopter right through the window of the Ferrari. It must be a crew helicopter since there is no helicopter in the story at that time.
Corrected entry: In the final chase scene just before they reach the US base, Mike asks if anyone has any more bullets. Marcus and Syd are all out, and their Cuban accomplice says he has one "in my hip". But when they arrive at the base and get out of the Hummer, Marcus shoots Tapia in the head.
Corrected entry: When Mike and Marcus are in the pink house, Marcus jumps behind the toilet. After one magazine is empty he puts in another one and starts firing without pulling back the top of the gun, which is necessary to get a bullet into the barrel.
Corrected entry: In the chase scene where the dead bodies are falling off the truck, the head snaps off one of the dummies being used for the dead bodies as it hits the road.
Corrected entry: In the scene when they assault the mansion and send in the RC car, they place it under the car that's entering the driveway. When the car is shown from the back entering the driveway the RC is not under the car.
Corrected entry: When Johnny Tapia shoots the guy in the head (the one that was taking care of the rats) there is another guy behind him who gets blood all over him; looking at the guy who got shot, the bullet seems to go through his head, yet the guy standing behind him doesn't get hit by the bullet.AzN InVasian
Corrected entry: At the beginning of the movie, there is a boat with drugs on it that has left Amsterdam; yet the writing on the bottom of the screen tells the audience that the boat is in the Gulf of Mexico. However, if the boat was leaving Amsterdam and going to Miami, why was it in the Gulf of Mexico? Shouldn't it have been in the Atlantic Ocean?AzN InVasian
Corrected entry: When Will Smith is at Martin Lawrence's house for the BBQ, Lawrence is wearing a Miami Heat Jersey with the name "Moring" on the back. They leave the house to check some stuff out and then Lawrence has on an Atlanta Falcons jersey with the name "Vick" on the back. Same colours different names.William Palmeri
Corrected entry: In the morgue scene where Will Smith and Martin are checking out the "fat does" for evidence, Will asks Martin to check a coffin for clues. As Martin looks through the coffin there is a shot of money that he finds inside the casket. If you look closely at this shot, the top bill in the bundle of hundreds reads "to be used for motion pictures only."
