Continuity mistake: When B-Rad first meets Shondra, she gets her coffee and turns to walk to the condiments and you see a woman in the background walking towards the bathroom with a tray. The camera angle changes and the woman is gone. (00:20:56)
Revealing mistake: When Gladys is serving B-Rad his food, you see her take his knife and fork and start to cut his steak. If you look closely she hardly even touches his steak with the knife but she makes the movements like she's cutting it. (00:15:59)
Continuity mistake: Throughout the movie there has been no sign of rain, while it takes you through B-Rad's whole adventure, without skipping a single hour. Yet, when the two fake gangsters and B-Rad pull up to the store, and they tell B-Rad to rob, there are deep rain puddles in the street and driveway.
Continuity mistake: When B-Rad has to rob the store, the owner rips off the receipt and puts it in the bag, but when B-Rad is outside Tree pulls out the receipt and it is folded.
Continuity mistake: In the scene after B-Rad gets thrown out of the club, he is outside walking to the car holding his clothes and his CD in his hand in the first shot, but in the second shot the CD is not there.
Continuity mistake: When B-Rad is tied up in the bedroom and Shondra comes in to talk to him, his hat keeps changing position on his head throughout the scene. (00:27:55)
Other mistake: When B-Rad is going to battle the other rapper and has to call the side of a coin that will come up after a flip, he calls tails and elects to go second. There are several mistakes here. First off, the guy who flips the coin doesn't even check to see which side the coin landed on. Secondly, the coin somehow disappears - the guy goes right on talking into the microphone in the next shot with the other hand not holding the coin. Lastly, which hand the microphone is in changes instantly from shot to shot.
Revealing mistake: When B-Rad and Shoundra are driving on the highway, right after B-Rad says, "I've been down with the brizzown all my life." the highway that they are driving on has a turn that you can see all the cars go through, including B-Rad's car, but B-Rad doesn't turn the steering wheel.
Audio problem: During the scene where B-Rad has to rob the liquor store, the store owner and his wife and kid come out with guns pointed at B-Rad. The kid comes out with a shotgun and a cocking sound is heard even though he doesn't cock it.
Continuity mistake: When the maid is serving B-Rad food on an outside table, she picks up the can of Pepsi and pours it into the glass. Then she puts the can back down with the Pepsi label facing away from the camera. In the next shot, the can is turned around so the label is facing the camera. The ice changes in this scene as well.
Continuity mistake: When B-Rad is rapping, he turns around and everyone sees his rear end. As soon as he turns back around to face the crowd, you see that his rear end is covered up again.
Continuity mistake: When B-Rad gives Shondra his CD, she grabs it by the bottom to look at it. The camera angle changes and she is now holding it by its side. (00:21:09)
Continuity mistake: When B-Rad shoots the Uzi's at the other gang when he is on top of the car, before he starts shouting at them you see all the gangsters take cover behind their cars, in the 2-3 shots before he starts shouting. But in the last shot there is a gangster out in the open right beside the car crawling backwards.
Visible crew/equipment: Just after the deal is set up for the two fake gangsters, the actors walk over to their SUV. If you look in the reflection around the grill, you can see the camera crew moving around.
Continuity mistake: When Tom goes to stop B-Rad from rapping you see a news cameraman standing directly behind him filming the action. The camera angle changes and the cameraman is gone. (00:04:16)
Continuity mistake: When B-Rad bumps into the bouncer at the club, you see that the bouncers are about 3 feet apart. The camera angle changes and they are now side by side. The camera angle changes again and they are again 3 feet apart. (00:38:02)
Audio problem: In the end when Brad introduces his father in front of all those people as the governor, he says, "Go Gluck Yourself". As he says this, the microphone in his hand is in the air, but it sounds as if he did speak into the microphone.
Revealing mistake: In the scene where you see the dad taking to everyone after he crashes into the house, you see him telling everyone how they shouldn't use guns to solve their problems but if you look closely at the time he starts talking, you can see one of the actual gangsters point their gun right at him a little later then the rest of the other people.
Continuity mistake: When they show the black campaign guy, he knocks over the flags on his desk. In the next shot you can tell that the flags are back up.
Continuity mistake: When B-Rad is laying on the bed you see his arms are pointing towards his feet. The camera angle changes and they are now pointing in the opposite direction. (00:47:13)
