X-Men 2

There's a new enemy for the mutants - General William Stryker, who hates all mutants, and wants to kill them all. To achieve this, he attacks the mutant school and kidnaps Professor Xavier to make him work a new Cerebro.
Magneto and Mystique now fight on the good side - to a certain point, since they want to kill all non-mutants.

X-Men 2 mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Wolverine attacks the SWAT member in the Mutant Academy kitchen while Iceman takes cover, there's a spot the difference competition between the start and end of the gunfight. After a second or two there are bullet holes in the back wall, the Dr. Pepper's been knocked over, the basket's gone from the corner of the table, and the chair at the right is maybe a foot from the corner. When we cut back, the bullet holes in the wall have changed position, the Dr. Pepper's righted itself, the basket's back on the corner, and the chair's now much closer to the edge. All this while Iceman's hiding and Wolverine and the gunman are fighting each other. (00:36:40)

Trivia: The young girl who runs through walls and soldiers when the mansion is attacked is Kitty Pryde, aka Shadowcat from the comics. She is also referenced in the first movie, as "a girl in Illinois who can walk through walls." (00:33:20)

More trivia for X-Men 2

Question: When Jean 'hears everything' at the museum, she hears a man yell "to the shelter" this suggests that she can hear all the way to Washington D.C. with her incoming increase of powers. My question is can the Phoenix hear the future? If you watch with the subtitles, you see as she's looking around, it says WOMAN- THEY'RE GONNA KILL HIM the voice is of Rogue in the scene where she bobby and john are in the tunnels after Logan closes the passage way.

Answer: The Phoenix Force is a primal force of the universe and Jean is tapping into it. As such, she's heading for a point where she really doesn't have any limitations - in the comics, Phoenix destroyed an entire star system. A degree of precognition doesn't seem remotely out of the question.
