Corrected entry: In the court room scene, Murdock cross examines the alleged rapist, in what is supposed to be a criminal trial, even though he isn't a government attorney, i.e., a prosecutor. Additionally, the victim is sitting at the table with Murdock's partner, Nelson, which would only occur at a civil trial.

Correction: The rape trial may be a civil trial if the victim chose to sue the rapist, even if it might derail a potential criminal trial (as it seems to here) because she wants to be compensated and prove his guilt by preponderance evidence rather than beyond a reasonable doubt.

Corrected entry: Whereas Matt would have gloves on when in his costume, he would have been touching it without gloves when it was his walking cane. Thus, his finger prints would have been on the cane that killed Electra's father and taken by the police, leading them to arrest Matt.

Quantom X

Correction: Not only does Daredevil have several walking sticks, but if Matt Murdock's fingerprints are not on file then they would have no way of identifying them, even if his prints were lifted.

Corrected entry: In the scene in the church where Daredevil and Bullseye fight, they do various abuse to the church organ. Organ pipes are most often made of a rather soft lead/tin alloy that simply would not stand the beating, banging and climbing they are subjected to.

Correction: By saying that they are "often" made from a soft alloy, you are implying that there are exceptions to the rule, in which case the pipes in this movie could be made from a stronger alloy.

S. Ha

Corrected entry: I think that OSHA would really love to find the building with the window washer baskets. All of the baskets seem to fall apart when Double D lands on them. They'd make a fortune in fines.

Correction: Not every company keeps their equipment in proper, safe conditions. It's hardly a movie mistake if a company is too lazy to make inspections on their units.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Electra's father gets killed Bullseye kills the chauffeur and body guard and the limo crashes into the truck. How does the dead driver open his door to fall out on the ground?

Correction: When Bullseye throws the shurikens into the driver's and the bodyguard's necks, we see them turn around and shout somehing to Elektra and her father. Since they crash shortly afterwards, we can assume the driver wasn't quite dead and was trying to protect Elektra and her father.

Corrected entry: When Matt is walking up the stairs to meet Elektra at the party, he sees her face in the smoke and also the smoke that someone blows in his face, yet he is only supposed to be able to see be able to see via soundwaves.

Correction: No, his sense of smell is heightened as well. He can "see" that way as well. But the only way to convey either of these senses to the audience is visually, so it looks the same to us.

Corrected entry: When Daredevil, Elektra, and Bullseye are fighting on the roof, a load of police and a SWAT team turn up. Why? No-one knows they're up there!

Jon Sandys Premium member

Correction: The fight started on top of an apartment building, note the clothesline, it's reasonable to assume that three people jumping around and breaking windows at night would make enough noise to get the police called on them by the tenants of the building.

Corrected entry: When Bullseye kills Elektra's father with Daredevil's staff, we see Daredevil jumping to grab the staff. There's an explosion, and we see echoes of the staff in Daredevil's 'vision'. We then see the scene from the opposite angle, as anyone else would see it, and it's obvious that Daredevil would miss the staff, even without the echoes.

Correction: It's not a movie mistake for a character to be unsuccessful in trying to catch an object.

Corrected entry: Since Daredevil does not have superhuman powers, he, like Batman, would not be able to fall off buildings and land the way he does (same for Electra and Bullseye). The leaps he takes and the landings he manages in this movie are just impossible for a mere human, even if he is a super hero. Balance has nothing to do with it.

Correction: First of all, Daredevil does have superpowers. His 360 degree radar sense (depicted as a 'sonar' in the movie') that enables him to sense everything around him, as well as his superhuman hearing, smell, touch and taste. Secondly, this entry falls into the "suspension of disbelief"-category. If one can accept that a blind person "sees" objects by how sound vibrates off them, and another can throw a straightened paper clip as a deadly weapon, it is not a long stretch to accept that they are able to take long falls. In addition, DD has more than exceptional balance, but is also a master acrobat and martial artist, trained by a blind ninja master in a fictitious art emphasising toughness and acrobatics. All this makes him capable of impossible stunts.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Fallon is talking to Jack "The Devil" Murdock before he goes to fight, they show a few shots of young Matt Murdock walking, and on the ground in front of him is the shadow of a head with devil horns.

Correction: Too obvious to be considered trivia.

Corrected entry: Why does Matt Murdock carry the identical baton he uses as Daredevil? With it's bright red handle and gold insignia wouldn't it make more sense to have two different styles, even if he wants both to be able to do the same thing? That's how Ben Urich figured out who he was. That's kind of like Batman using his utility belt to hold his jeans up.

Correction: This is a character decision, and not a movie mistake. One reason could be that Matt felt a need to accessorize for the gala event and brought the fancier-looking cane. He never expected to lose it or for it to be closely examined by anyone else. (Who would take the cane from a blind man?)

Corrected entry: When young Matt first discovers his powers, he strikes a guy wire and proceeds to slide down. You can see the restraining wire holding him up.

Correction: That's not a wire. It's a straight line going from the top of the screen to the bottom of the screen. Seems like a damage on the film roll itself.

Corrected entry: In the shot of Electra before they take off their jackets in the playground, Electra's eyes are not green. They're blue.

Correction: This is likely just a trick of the light, rather than an actual mistake. Jennifer Garner has brown eyes, and wore green contacts for the role. It's unlikely that blue contacts would have been substituted by mistake.

Corrected entry: When Bullseye stabs Elektra, we can see that the sai enters upwards through her stomach and the protrudes through her upper back (as is seen by the stretching of her outfit). However, when he throws her down onto the next building, as she's rolling around, we can see an exit wound (a small bloody hole) in the small of her back, between where her shirt and pants don't cover up her back.

Correction: That's not a wound, that's the blood that dripped down from the wound on the upper part of her back.

Corrected entry: Through the entire finale (battles with Bullseye and Kingpin, day at the coffee shop, etc.) DD shows no signs of having had a sai run through his shoulder. Not bad going considering that that single wound was enough to almost kill him earlier.

Correction: The wound didn't almost kill him, but the shock of it made him weak for a short period of time. After all, he doesn't exactly have the easiest time defeating Bullseye. But by the time he faced off with Kingpin, he had gained enough control to "tune out" the pain and was also running off of a lot of adrenalin.

Corrected entry: When Daredevil is confronting Quesada in the subway, he's hurt by the sound of a passing train. Considering what they've shown us of his hearing ability, why did he not hear the train coming until it was right next to him? Logic would suggest that he would have heard it quite a while before it got there.

Correction: He probably did hear it, it just wasn't loud enough to be painful.

Corrected entry: In the final shot where Daredevil jumps off a high building, he shoots his grappling hook upwards. Why would he hook himself back up from where he jumped off? It doesn't make sense. If he were merely doing it to swing somewhere else the angle of his rope would not likely give him any leverage.

Correction: Daredevil did this to slow him self down so he would not fall to his death as he jumped off the building.

Corrected entry: During the fight with Daredevil in Fisk's office, Fisk is screaming in pain, but his mouth is closed.

Correction: There is no mistake here. It is possible to scream while gritting your teeth as is the case with Fisk. In fact, this is usually what Michael Clark Duncan looks when he screams in all his movies.

Corrected entry: In the one of the last scenes, Ben Affleck is talking to his friend in a coffee shop. A woman walks through the door, and Ben decides to leave to take a walk. He grabs his jacket from the chair. However, when he's walking, he is not carrying or wearing the coat. Where did it go?

Correction: When Matt leaves the coffee shop to get some air, carrying his jacket, he's wearing a black long-sleeved top with the sleeves pushed up to his elbows. When we next see him walking, when he finds the good-luck charm, he's wearing a purple short-sleeved top - the two scenes don't follow on directly, it's probably not even the same day. Slightly confusing editing, but not a mistake.

Corrected entry: When Kingpin is about to fight DD he takes off his some of his clothes but then the clothes disappear.

Correction: Judging from what we see of him, the Kingpin is a neat and tidy individual. Although it cuts directly from one scene to the next, some time passes in between Fisk removing his clothing and Daredevil arriving - he's had enough time to put those clothes away somewhere. Wouldn't want to get blood on his carefully tailored suit jacket and waistcoat.

Corrected entry: When Electra is in her room practising her techniques to murder Daredevil, her hair is in a tight plait down her back. When she finishes her hair is COMPLETELY undone.

Correction: I can braid or tie my hair and use tons of hairspray and gel and it will be undone completely after 15 min of cleaning my bathroom so it is not inconcievable for her hair to be undone after more physical activity.

Corrected entry: Although Daredevil can hear bullets loading into chambers and the triggers of weapons being pulled, he still wouldn't be able to move Bullseye's hands into the path of the sniper bullet since he would have no idea where the bullet was headed. He could have been moving into the bullet's path for all he knew.

Correction: He would assume that the sniper was shooting at their head and moved the hands into that location just in time (swapping head for hands).

Corrected entry: In the scene where Ben Afflek is fighting Jennifer Garner on the playground, Ben throws his cane towards the bench behind him. After Ben also throws his coat onto the bench, the camera goes to the cane falling down from the sky. In this shot, Ben catches the cane (still falling).

Correction: Ben throws his cane up, not on the bench, then takes off his coat and puts it on the bench. By the time he has taken off his coat and put it on the bench, then cane has fallen down to him and he catches it.

Corrected entry: When Matt Murdock first loses his sight, he is woken up in hospital room by the sound made by an IV drip (which we see in the room), amplified by his new Daredevil senses. Terrified by the noise he gets out of bed and writhes around the room. There is no sign of a needle in his arm and there appears to be no-one else in the room, so what was the IV connected to? Same goes for the heart monitor.

Correction: His new senses are powerful enough to hear the IV and heart monitor of another patient in another room.

Corrected entry: Daredevil covers his ears in pain when the first train goes past, then why didnt he cover his ears when the C Train came past and ran over Quesada?

Correction: He probably left as the guy lying on the tracks was threatning him.

Corrected entry: When Daredevil and Bullseye are fighting in the church, a sniper is assigned to take position on a nearby roof. The sniper than takes aim, and immediately fires through stain-glass window of the church, peircing into the hand of Bullseye. How did the sniper see through this glass in the first place? If he were to see shadows or figures, there would be no proof indicating who he is exactly shooting at. And if my knowledge is correct, snipers are usually picky upon when they shoot at enemies. They just dont fire away the first chance they get.

Correction: The captain ordered the sniper to fire the very first chance he got.

Corrected entry: In the fight between Bullseye and Elektra, Bullseye hits the sword out of her hands. Then mysteriously Bullseye has the knife to stab Elektra.

Correction: There was no sword or knife in this fight. There were only Elektra's Sais and Bullseye's Card, which he used to make the bruise in Elektra's neck.

Corrected entry: When Elektra's father dies, Daredevil's baton/cane was the weapon, obviously the only one he had to hand, because he gets a bit panicked when he realises he's facing Bullseye without it. So where does the grappling hook come from that he uses to escape?

Correction: DareDevil caries two batons, one on his thigh and one in his boot. Bullseye takes his main baton, and DareDevil leaves with his back-up baton, which contains the grappling hook.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Daredevil is chasing the criminal to the subway, the bad guy trips and falls into a puddle. As he gets up and starts to run again, we see Daredevil's reflection in the puddle gaining on him, but when Daredevil lands in the puddle, his feet are facing the direction he just came from as if he is heading in the other direction, away from the bad guy.

Correction: The criminal went the opposite direction when he got up because DD is in the direction he was heading.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Daredevil's father is killed, we see the body as young Matt runs to him. The father's head is to the left. When young Matt is crushing the rose, and the camera pans back, the father's head is to the right.

Correction: The first shot is Matt walking up to his dad's body. The second shot is Matt sitting with his dad's head in his lap. Matt must have turned his dad's head when he put it in his lap.

Corrected entry: During the fight scene on the rooftop between Bullseye and Electra they cut to a scene where Electra is wearing a dog-collar, after Bullseye throws the card Electra is not wearing the dog-collar.

Correction: When Bullseye throws the card he slices the thin material of the choker, leaving a shallow cut on her neck.

Corrected entry: How would Kingpin know about Bullseye's death so quickly?

Correction: Someone with the Kingpin's illegal interests would undoubtedly monitor the police frequencies as a matter of course. As the police were present when Bullseye was injured (not killed), a report would have been made which the Kingpin's people would have intercepted.

Corrected entry: At the end, when Ben is typing the ''Daredevil Revealed'' document, he presses the Delete button and deletes the document, but in order to delete something with that button you would have to select the whole document and then press Delete.

Correction: Ben is using a Mac where the delete key he is using acts as a backspace.

Corrected entry: How the hell did DD survive Bullseye's plate? It hit directly in the gullet I know DD is a strong guy but his neck muscles wouldn't be able to stop the plate from his gullet.

Correction: The plate hit DD in the chin, not the neck, it isn't a fatal blow.

Corrected entry: When Matt wakes up for the first time as an adult, gets ready and puts on his suit, watch what is right on the drawer when he picks up his watch and sunglasses. Is that a PDA? Why would a blind man have a PDA? It couldn't belong to his girlfriend, because she states on the answering machine that she's never been to his place. I doubt that it's Foggy's, either. So what's it doing there?

Correction: There are special PDAs for the blind. See http://www.nfb.org/bm/bm03/bm0304/bm030407.htm

Corrected entry: How can Daredevil "hear" the bullets, and dodge them? Bullets go faster than sound.

Correction: He can hear the bullets loading into the chambers. Besides, most small arms fire is subsonic.

Corrected entry: Right after we see the grown up Matt Murdock for the first time, right after he gets out of "bed", he turns on the music to its maximum volume. He can't bear noise, so why can he stand hearing loud music?

Correction: It's not so much the volume that bothers him. The music is soothing to him and being so loud would drown out the noise of the city. The train and the bell bother him because of the type of sound created.

Corrected entry: When Matt goes to check his answering machine, you see a white button. This button is used to turn that particular answering machine on or off. If the machine were on, the button would be red. How did he get a new message if the machine wasn't on?

Correction: The red light is flashing even before he touches the machine. Also he presses the silver button at the bottom. The white button is to the left in between the flashing light and the button he presses.

Corrected entry: In the first scene when the priest puts the flame in front of Matt's face, Matt has brown eyes, yet later in the movie when we have the flashback leading up to that point they are blue and return to being brown again once we return to the church just before the final showdown between Daredevil and Bullseye.

Correction: His eyes are always that white-blue,it's just the light makes it look different. That scene it's actually very well done because with the flame the black of the eye grows but because he is suppose to be blind it doesn't. Very cool.

Corrected entry: During the sex scene, wouldn't Elektra find it strange that a blind lawyer has so many scars all over his back?

Correction: She DOES find it strange, just look at her face when she touches the scars.

Corrected entry: Daredevil has the super-hero powers to dodge bullets and does this blind by using his ears. But how can Daredevil dodge bullets if bullets travel faster than sound. Sound travels at 344 meters per second while bullets range from around 300 - 1200. This is shown greatly when he moves bullseye's hand into the way of the bullet. It's just not possible.

Correction: He can't dodge bullets, but as with the sniper, he can hear the bullet load or the trigger start to be pulled right before it shoots.

Corrected entry: Daredevil leaves his mask on the floor of the Kingpin's office after their battle, yet when Matt and Foggy are discussing the incident in the cafe afterwards, it is treated only as hearsay that Daredevil was even there, and Matt pretends to disbelieve it entirely.

Correction: Sometimes cops withold evidence, this could be the case since the cop in charge doesn't want the word to get out and have all this people seeking justice on their own.

Corrected entry: Elektra is convinced that Daredevil killed her father because his club was used as a murder weapon, but she doesn't seem to notice that Bullseye was even there. Didn't the huge motorcycle explosion a few moments before draw her attention?

Correction: Elektra was unconcious throughout most of the attack bye Bullseye. By the time she wakes up Bullseye is gone, her father is dead, and Daredevil is fleeing so she assumes he was the one responsible.

Corrected entry: How is Murdoch able to get all of the prescription pain killers he's seen taking at the beginning of the movie? Is his doctor aware of his secret identity? Certainly someone taking the amount of drugs he's taking, and suffering the type of injuries he receives regularly, would encounter some serious questions if he went to an emergency room. Blind man receiving large doses of painkillers...superhero who keeps his eyes covered up and regularly engages in fights with dozens of people...wouldn't his doctor or pharmacist at least *suspect* something?

Correction: Hell's kitchen is a rough place with a lot of violence and killing - Matt dresses very well and he's obviously blind so if a mugger wanted money he'd be a pretty easy target, so he has a lot of excuses for his injuries and therefore his needs for pain killers.

Corrected entry: Putting aside the dubious notion that Daredevil would have a handy supply of lighter fluid, alcohol, or gasoline with which to spell out his initials on the floor of the subway station, how did he know in advance that someone would ignite it? His superhuman senses don't include precognition.

Correction: It was the reporter who ignited the DD, so it's possible this has appeared at other crime scenes and it was expected.

Corrected entry: Kingpin hunts Electra because he kills his enemies' family. So why did he let young Matt survive?

Correction: He doesn't kill young Matt Murdock because he isn't the Kingpin yet, he's just hired muscle.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Daredevil is having sex with Elektra, there's a bed in his apartment. Why would he need a bed if he's sleeping in that tank of his every night? Judging from the message we hear, he doesn't seem like the type to bring anyone to his apartment.

Correction: Still, if anybody were to come into his apartment it would be better for him to have everything look normal. If he slept in a tank and had to tell someone it might become obvious that he has amplified senses of some sort.

Corrected entry: If Daredevil was so bothered by the bell ringing in the church and the train squealing in the subway, why is he not bothered at all by the machine gun shots in the bar?

Correction: The train and the bells are long, sustained, extremely loud, and stay pretty much on the same pitch. The machine gun shots (and loud music for that matter) are shorter and are almost like little bits of sonar. With sounds like the explosion and the bells, his hearing picks up echoes off everywhere, and since the tone is the same, it confuses the heck out of him.

Corrected entry: The scene where Bullseye kills Electra's father. First Bullseye kills both drivers. Then he has a mini-fight with Daredevil outside. Electra's father comes out to see what's going on and that's where he gets the baton...well my question is what on earth was Electra doing in the car the whole time? I mean her father had common sense enough to go see what was going on, why didn't she?

Correction: After Daredevil arrives at the scene you can see Natchios lay down Elektra on the ground. So she seems to be kind of unconscious.

Corrected entry: So the secret of Daredevil is safe because the reporter deleted his story? What about the that his blood would be all over the church as well as where he and Elektra fought?

Correction: True, his blood would be at the fight scenes, but unless he is a suspect they won't be able to match the blood up with him. As with any forensics the physical evidence can only be matched against suspects or a database, i.e. fingerprints of convicts, etc.

Corrected entry: How was Matt able to sleep after having sex with Elektra, if he wasn't sleeping in his soundproof steel chamber to block out sounds of the city?

Correction: He might just have been really tired...

Matt Murdock: Excuse me? Do you have any honey?
Elektra: [reading paper.] Right in front of you.
Matt Murdock: Could you be a little bit more specific please?
Elektra: [looking up.] What are you...
Matt Murdock: Blind? Yes.

When we see the burning 'DD' in Joe Pantoliano's glasses it is not a reflection. The DD should be backwards in his glasses.

Jennifer Garner wore colored contacts for the role of Elektra. Her natural eye color is brown.
