Other mistake: When Gibbs goes into the Secret Service Room, he passes by an agent who he asks if he is sleeping on the job. He kills the other 3 agents, opens the weapons hold and walks past where the other agent was sitting, and he's now gone, and is still gone when the terrorists storm the cabin. Where did he go? Considering earlier during the tour, Melanie Mitchell warns them not to pass that point without an escort, or they'll be sorry.
Plot hole: At the start when the guys are infiltrating that building they parachute down to the roof. They are dressed in black so they can't be seen, but their parachutes are white. (00:02:50)

Grace Marshall: Yeah.
President James Marshall: Yeah?
Grace Marshall: You're gonna get yourself re-elected.
President James Marshall: That's what I keep telling them.
Trivia: A little aside - when the terrorists first strike, in amongst the confusion you can hear someone shout "get the football!" The "football" is the name used for the case which contains the nuclear launch codes, but this is never explained. It's not a major thing, but interesting to note that they included it as a little detail. Good to know a childhood spent reading Tom Clancy books wasn't wasted...
